This is my local Chinese takeaway and aside from the prices rising a lot over the last few years (like everywhere else), I can’t fault it at all for any of the Chinese food they serve. Everything is well seasoned and the portions are good. The English food though like chips or sausages leave a bit to be desired but are perfectly acceptable for what you get. The lady serving here is also really friendly and greets me and my partner with a big hello every time we go in. I would definitely recommend this as one of the better takeaways in Bristol - and even though things have clearly dipped a bit since Covid - I will continue to eat here whenever I can.

There were bits of chicken in with my tofu dish. I'm a vegetarian so don't eat chicken. When I called to get a replacement delivered the woman was extremely aggressive, shouted at me and called me a liar.

Friendly quick service and the food was so yummy and sauce portions were generous. We had sweet sour chicken balls, won tons, prawn toast, egg fried rice and a spring roll. Much better compared to others I’ve tried in the area. Will definitely be back! Chinese takeaways seem to vary a lot on reviews depending on what people prefer so definitely give it a go if you’re not sure.

Absolutely love this place have allways gone here most weeks over the last few years lovely friendly staff i think the lady that answers allways no who i am when i ask for extra spicy food is allways good portion size and well worth the money highly recommend allways order over the phone fast and easy and only takes about 15 to 20 mins for collection see you again soon thankyou for all your work and keeping our treat night special

Always order from Hong Kong and the food is always amazing, delivered with a smile from a lovely gentleman. Highly recommend.

I love their food and their attention, I occasionally order food there and orders are ready quickly.

Order from them all the time. We even gave them a Christmas card and some chocolates to say thank you as we aren’t very close to the takeaway but they always deliver to us. In return they just sent a Christmas thank you back. Would always recommend for some tasty food and crispy wings 😃

We use them quite often on Just Eat but they really need to expand their vegan options.

Absolute joke! Do not order from here! Said it would take 40 mins but took over 2 hours driver got funny when we collected the food and food was cold… very good customer service! It was was my mates birthday as well!

The Best Chinese food ❤️ The stuff is very friendly

Surprised to see the relatively low rating. We’ve been getting food from here occasionally for the last few years and found it to be easily the most reliable Chinese in the area and one of the best. I don’t think we’ve had a bad meal yet. We do normally collect rather than use Uber eats (too slow!) so the food is fairly hot and fresh, which probably explains some of the bad reviews.

Lovely food! Gtae customer service. We go here every week a lot cheaper if you order with them directly.

Still waiting for food to be delivered via uber eats 2 half hours late. Apparently it takes the driver 2 hours to deliver 1.3 miles away...

Our order was 1 hour and 45 minutes late, cold when it arrived and some of the meat dishes lacked flavour. When we rang to say the food was late the restaurant blamed the driver. When we rang to say it was cold they wouldn't send us a replacement or refund us unless we sent the food back so they could reheat it and either send it back to us or to someone else.

Lovely family run Chinese takeaway. Food is delicious and service is always with a smile. Good menu selection and food is prepared from fresh. Would definitely recommend.

I have to say that this is the best Chinese we've had ever, bar none and excellent value for money. I'm well impressed and will definitely be using them again 😃😃

Avoid. Ordered via UberEats, took almost three hours to arrive. I tried calling and phone rang out numerous times, unable to get hold of anyone to get order update or cancel order. Absolutely useless.

Ordered via uber eats and the delivery took two hours. The order arrived and the food was soggy from being in paper bags too long. The spring rolls fell apart trying to peel them off the inside of the bag. The chips were sweaty. The chicken in the fried rice had dried out completely. I will not order from here again.

I paid £2.5 for a bag of praw crakers and they were completely stale!!!! Extremely disapointing, we ended up throwing them out. The rest of the food was ok, but we were counting on those crackers!

If we could give them a 0 we would. Perhaps it was because we ordered via just eat, we ordered at 18:40 on a Friday and were given a delivery time of 20:05. At 20:15 I asked for an update, the order suddenly changed to 20:35 and “oops delayed”, as they wouldn’t answer their phone I asked to cancel the order and get a refund, the app suddenly changed to delivered, it had not been delivered. I called and called and called and no answer, I used the online justeat chat getting through finally to a human at 21:00, after some discussion they suddenly said it would be 10 minutes, because they had found the time to start cooking. I had already at this point asked for a refund, over an hour after it should have arrived, 2 and a half hours after I actually put in the order. At 22:30, a man turns up with a takeaway... Almost 3 hours after I ordered, 2 hours after I cancelled the order and asked for my money back. I had already said I no longer trusted them to have prepared my food hygienically and in COVID-19 times being pregnant and vulnerable I could not accept the risk that they may have done something nasty to my food. I didn’t trust the food. My partner sent it back. They now won’t mark the order as complete so that Just Eat can give me a refund for the food I asked them to not deliver after it was over an hour later before they started to cook it. These people are scammers...

Waited 2 hours for food. Order was wrong and half of the order was cold. The takeaway blamed the ordering app but also threw in some chicken wings that were also cold. Basically got the dregs from the evening cobbled together at 10:20 after ordering at 8:20. I used to order regularly but won’t be ordering again

Really nice Chinese takeaway would 100% recommend. Not too greasy, good sized portions and free prawn crackers, spring rolls and fortune cookies. Was delicious. Def gonna be our go to place from now on. :)

Would give no stars if I could. Took over an hour and half to try and deliver our food! The lady speaking to us wasn’t helpful at all. She had to explain to the driver where to go before he couldn’t speak English. Tried to explain several ways but she wouldn’t listen! Never ordering again. Told us to cancel our order because it was now too late. Didn’t get our food and had to order somewhere else.

We got sent the wrong order and when we phoned to say that the order was wrong the woman on the phone was extremely rude, didn’t even say sorry and said she can’t refund us. so we said we would like the correct order in which she said ‘ok fine don’t order from us again you’re too much hassle’ even though she got our order wrong! Other than that the Delivery man was lovely and the food is ok. Don’t worry we won’t be ordering from you again.

Great Chinese takeaway. Food is really tasty and like a previous reviewer mentioned, it's not overly greasy. They even gave us complimentary spring rolls as well as prawn crackers. Their curry sauce is gorgeous. This will definitely become our go-to Chinese takeaway from now on.

Food is satisfactory. We were left extremely disappointed by the stealth delivery charge added to our bill however. This happened despite ordering from a menu received through our door within the last couple of weeks. This promised free delivery within 3 miles. The staff were dismissive of the error when I queried it. Sadly this means we will not use them again.

Thought we'd give it a go as we heard it was under new management (the old one was rubbish!). Really delicious food. Lovely flavours, not overly greasy. Particularly like the sweet and sour chicken balls, nice crispy batter and good sized chunks of chicken. This has become our new favourite Chinese takeaway!

Chips are terrable orderd 2 large bags got home and they gave me 1 small bag and it wouldent evan feed a child

This place has new management and the food is ace! Well cooked meat and veggie dishes, not greasy, great flavours and value for money. They've got a bad press because the last owners were pretty awful - don't har them with the same brush!

Cantonesse wasnt cantonesse, would get better chicken from mcdonalds! No pineapples no peppers nada, nothing! Would never ever recommend!
