Delicious intagrammable breakfast on a beautiful street

Lovely spot for coffee and wine! We had only a bread selection plate to accompany our wine… but it was so fresh! Big selection of Greek wines- as I am originally from Greece, I loved it!!

I recently visited this charming place with friends. We were absolutely delighted with the delicious dishes. I was also pleased with the wonderful atmosphere.

Amazing food. The space however is fairly cramped and the waiters kept bumping into my back and my chair. This must have happened 10-15 times in the 1.5 hours we weee there. Not once did any of them seem to notice this or apologise. Certainly not an experience I’d like to repeat.

Loved that the menu wasn’t overwhelming - the mains were extremely tasty and special and also a decent size that didn’t need too many additional starters or sides

Visited on a Friday evening, restaurant was full and the team kindly accommodated us in the private dining room at the rear. Both the food & service was impeccable - really enjoyable evening.

Pequeño y mojado restaurante de Oriente Medio. Comenzamos con el plato de compartir, que básicamente eran pequeñas porciones de todo en la lista de inicios del menú principal. Aunque muchos de los platos eran familiares, como el hummus, labneh, falafel, etc., los sabores eran extraordinarios. Cada especia individual era identificable. El hummus era un sueño aterciopelado. Para principal tenía las albóndigas, que de nuevo eran de primera categoría, llenas de cítricos, chile picante y tomate dulce. Terminamos compartiendo una rica rodaja de chocolate y sésamo con un mazapán líquido, que debió contener mil calorías. He comido en muchos restaurantes del norte de África. Esta fue una de las mejores en términos de calidad alimentaria. La única razón por la que noqueé a una estrella fue la bienvenida y el final fueron bastante distraídos, lo que sugiere dar a sus invitados un poco demasiado por sentado. Lástima. Pagamos unas 90 libras cada uno por 2. 5 platos y una botella de vino.

También tienen la gran opción de desayuno que incluye además unos pequeños mezzes en la mesa para compartir y cobran un extra escandaloso de £ 10 por persona (por lo que no queríamos ni siquiera intentarlo como pagar £ 27. 5 cada uno solo para el desayuno es redículo en mi opinión). Sin embargo: El gerente de turno fue considerado y lo suficientemente amable para escucharme, y nos ofreció un plato adicional cada uno en la casa para que no nos vayamos con hambre. Le doy todo el crédito por esa amable oferta y califico el nivel de servicio como sobresaliente.

Stumbled on this place looking for brunch, as we were just about to give up and go to a chain coffee shop. Cannot rate highly enough, the coffee is so well made- tastes smooth and flavourful and the food is superb (we had the fritters and salmon sandwich) Servers are friendly and attentive. A real Gem.

Really tasty Middle Eastern cakes, some of the best you can get anywhere.

THE SPICY CHILLI JAM IS UNREAL. It’s hot honey in classy jam form and literally goes on everything from a classy cheese board to pizza. I cannot recommend stopping by enough. The pastries are also beautiful and there were about 15 other items from granola to tahini to a blackcurrant and bay spread I’m dying to try

Delicious brunch. Starter mezze was fabulous!

My experience was bad in this dirty restaurant. The chef hid a lump of curly hair in the middle of the food served and we did not discover it until after we started eating. There was a strange movement in the kitchen located below the restaurant, screaming and a quick exit and leaving from one of the employees from the kitchen to outside the restaurant. When we told the waiter about the lump of hair served in the middle of the food and he saw it himself, he quickly took the plate claiming that he would show it to the chef. He went down to the kitchen for a minute and then came back and apologized for this unintentional mistake, according to him, and promised to send us an official apology by email, but they actually covered up the matter as if it did not happen.

Excellent Persian breakfast, last time visited 5 years ago..

Super memorable meal. Everything was amazing, and I'd love to try more of the menu. The falafel was cooked to perfection, but the tahini and salad it was paired with stole the show. The beet root salad was bright and refreshing with all the herbs that were used. The slow cooked lamb melted in my mouth. Absolutely outstanding. And the cheesecake. Oh, the cheesecake. One of the best desserts I have ever had.

Great spot on a lovely street full of life and warmth

Went here for brunch this week and really enjoyed it! The food was great, I had the Spinach Bureka, my friend had the Green Shakshuka. Both were delicious!

The restaurant is beautiful, it has a selection of breakfast items (THE BIG BREAKFAST), but it forces you to charge all guests 27 pounds per person. The shakshuka was ordinary and mostly sauce, like other London restaurants Hummus is medium, similar to canned chickpeas Scramble is good. They added some items to the invoice, alerted them, and removed them.

Like the atmosphere and servers were all v helpful. Unfortunately, let down by the food... overseasoned and overpriced.

Outstanding selection of Middle Eastern food. Highly recommended

I visited this restaurant for dinner with my family and friends. Despite its small size, the venue was fully booked and lively, and I loved the warm and inviting atmosphere of the interior. We dined in the private room at the very back, which was wonderfully quiet and allowed us to enjoy a calm and relaxing time. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, which was evident in both presentation and taste. The selection of tableware and drinks also showcased great style, and we thoroughly enjoyed the modern Mediterranean cuisine. While the portions of the main dishes were generous, the food was so delicious that we still managed to enjoy a variety of starters as well. Conveniently located not far from Holborn Station, the restaurant is tucked away, giving it a hidden gem vibe. All my friends were highly satisfied, and it’s a place I’d gladly recommend!

Hugely expensive for ‘ok’ food and very rude and abrupt service, with plates taken away before we had finished eating. Was really looking forward to visiting for a special meal but this felt like anything but. Won’t be returning or recommending!

Incredible experience. The food is a fresh, inventive explosion to your senses. Colors, smells, tastes—truly delightful. Reservations are best, but always pop in to see if a counter spot is available. It’s a tight fit, but worth any perceived inconvenience. We tried the Spiced pumpkin falafel with a perfect texture, not greasy in the slightest and the creamiest tahini I’ve ever experienced. The acidity of the side tomato salad was a perfect accompaniment. Next up was the Beetroot sabzi salad which included perfectly tender multi colored beets with lovely greens tasting with a hint of anise. Finally, we experienced the lovely surprise of the Roasted aubergine with BBQ tahini crust—once you venture beyond the crust, a creamy mixture of flavors delights. It is perfectly paired with a colorful jewelled rice salad. Afterwards we popped across the way to get a takeout pastry—a chocolate layered rugelach—Outstanding. A bit pricey but overall a perfect restaurant splurge. Thank you 🙏

Lovely vegetarian options with shared meze starters and 2 main course choices. We all loved our food and I would happily return. The only things I would comment on are There is too much salt, I was drinking a lot of water after the meal! Delicious cocktails. Quite noisy with a lot of conversation noise, so not good if you have hearing loss.

As a sweets lover, I can ensure this is one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had in my life. The almonds, the honey, the creamy feta... All the ingredients mix together so harmoniously! Not too sweet, great texture and surprisingly tasty. Food looks great too!

Staff, interior, food, all were very good! Poached pear was a bit sour for my taste but everything else I tried was really good.

Place has a nice ambience although it is extremely noisy with tables close together so you can hear your neighbours entire conversation. Service was decent. Bottled wine is served in awful cheap tumbler style wine glasses, sorry restaurants but if you’re charging London wine mark ups please at least give me a proper wine glass. As for the food - entrees were pretty good. Mains were terrible, especially the fish tagine that was basically just a few bits of fish floating in an oil slick with sliced garlic. Absolutely not a tagine and not tasty, and not even served with any sort of accompaniment, totally bizarre dish! For £25 per main you’d expect a lot more.

We ordered the red shakshuka and sabich, and both dishes were delicious.

This is one of my favorite bakeries in London. There is nothing that doesn’t taste amazing. Their cheese and apple chutney sandwich is especially to die for. The staff is always lovely, and everything is top quality.

The prawn main dish was a particular highlight!

Our god-daughters brought us here when we met up in London recently. The experience was amazing from start to finish. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The service was excellent. The ambience was fab. And the food was out of this world. The portions were more than generous and the combination of flavours was so mouth-wateringly good. We had the sharing dishes to start and then all chose different mains, all of which were delicious. I have never tasted such an unusual flavoured gin and tonic. And the chilled red wine was different and interesting too. The price of the experience was on the high side but worth every penny. We enjoyed this so much that we have already booked a return visit when we are in London again in a couple of weeks.

Very nice evening at honey & co on Conduit Street with delicious food, very friendly and attentive staff. Water was on the table immediately after we sat down. We had 3 top starters and for the main course my daughter had the delicious fish dish and I had the lamb dish. Both were delicious and the wine recommendation with the meal was perfect. We'll definitely be back.

Disappointing. The hummus came with an inadequately small piece of pitta, for the amount of dip, and we were astonished to see that we were charged £2 for an extra piece. Acknowledging that there is some subjectivity in the description, my lamb schwarma was served on “charred” pitta; it was not charred, it was (inedibly) burnt. When we raised this with the staff we were informed that’s how it was described on the menu. It’s not the mistakes you make but the way you deal with them…. I’m afraid I would not recommend

Excellent food, great service, extraordinary goat’s cheese & cheese cake.

I always go here for coffe and a sandwich or cake. My fav is the chicken focaccia. The only down side is that there is no wifi or many plugs to work from there.

Low key Mediterranean Fusian cafe, with an additional bakery across the street. We love the relaxed vibes and the eggplant was delicious.

The Summer Sharing Menu was very nice, expensive but a lot of food. As is the way these days, the wine is very expensive, I wouldn't recommend the wine matching (3 glasses for £30).

Best Israeli food in town!!!! Much recommended

It is a small place in a very quiet neighborhood of London. They serve dishes and coffee and pastries. We arrived by chance and had some coffees and a delicious pistachio cake. The cappuccino and latte are also very delicious. Excellent service and the neighborhood and surrounding shops to visit.

A go to restaurant when in the area. I love the cosy vibe and decor and it's always friendly service. It's not cheap but you wouldn't expect it in Bloomsbury. It's brilliant in the morning, but I love the vibe in the evening too, or for some afternoon treats. They have a lovely variety of food with influences from all over the Levant and Europe, which somehow manages to be both approachable but still show some heart and culture. Which is not always easy to find in London especially in the centre.

After reading an article in the paper I bought a Honey & Co. Cookbook when the world was shut down during the early days of the pandemic. It was a treat to try out the recipes and think about a time when we might be able to travel once again. Stopping on a layover in London, the one thing we wanted to do was to eat at Honey & Co. The meal, their sharing meal, was everything we hoped it would be and more. Delicious, delicious, delicious! Lovely service and friendly atmosphere too.

The food is great, but man it is EXPENSIVE. I was not prepared to pay €155 for only 2 people that had 1 soft drink each + food.

Great food, I recommend the sharing plate - lots of lovely things, and a good wine list. I remember when this location was a tapas restaurant and it is now considerably busier and more popular. It seems especially popular with north Americans - there were several tables of them there. As the tables are quite close together, this has the unfortunate effect of meaning you have to hear other people's conversations all the way through your meal. Americans have a tendency to talk loudly, with little regard as to whether other people around them can hear. Guess what? We don't find your stories of going to therapy or what "triggers" you to be interesting. You are not fascinating. So have a bit of respect for other paying customers and turn the volume down when the tables are close together.

Our favorite London restaurant—and that’s coming from big fans of Ottolenghi and his restaurants. This Middle Eastern spot, started by two stars of the Ottolenghi world, achieves casual elegance in every detail: the ambiance, the Bloomsbury locale, and the menu offerings are all spot-on. We especially enjoyed the mezze, handcrafted drinks, and desserts (the mains weren’t nearly so memorable). Also, if you can’t get a table here, pop across the street to Honey & Co. daily for bakery and take-away items.

Very accommodating with allergies, wonderful service!

I went to Honey & Co back in January, as I gathered it's a middle eastern cuisine and asked about the authenticity of this cuisine, their service is poor, the food is not well cooked. I developed good poisoning from eating here. If y'all are looking for a good middle eastern cuisine go somewhere else. So many other restaurants on this stretch like swiss butter etc. that are much better than this if you are close by

Overpriced and disgusting food and service the staff were unnecessarily rude and unhelpful later we found out it’s owned by an Israeli couple selling Middle Eastern food so they stole that too. Will never eat at a genocide supporters restaurant again no thank you.

We popped by for lunch on a Friday, and were delighted to see it wasn't particularly busy. We took one of the tables outside since it was a nice enough day. The patio is very small/narrow, though, so there wasn't much "ambience" there. Two adults and two kids, not particularly hungry, and we just ordered a few things. Most things tasted really lovely, were full of flavor, and despite the prices being on the high side and the portions on the small side, we left feeling very satisfied. Peach salad was gorgeous, Lamb siniya was delicious, and the only semi-miss was the Snack plate (the tahini was absolutely luscious but there could have been a few more pickles and olives for the price!). The kids loved the lemonade, though the artistic jug it came in was a bit precarious for them to handle. Our waitress was pleasant and appropriately attentive. Overall, would definitely return if we're ever back in London, but probably not when we're quite hungry, haha!

Mediocre yet overpriced. Real disappointment after trying out delicious recipes from the original 2 books. For a set menu for 2 cost 130 with 2 basic cocktails. Nothing special regarding taste or ingredients. Expected more

Nice place, but portion sizes are very small and not reflective of the price. Also no gluten free bread, which is very poor for a higher end restaurant. I've attached a photo of my meals which cost almost £20. I left feeling as hungry as when I went in..

Went for a late lunch there today! The food was amazing staff was also very lovely the sharing menu is delicious! I could not get enough of the humous and breads! the mains were also incredibly tasty! The chicken and fish were just perfect

The food was exceptional. Every dish had depth and interest and the service was attentive and friendly. We chose almost every starter to shared between us and just three mains between five people and that was plenty.

Food was good but small portions. Atmosphere was a bit dry and boring. Service was ok. Overall was not an exciting experience even though location was on a lovely picturesque street
