Aubergine parmigiana was great, garlic bread was okay. spaghetti was expensive and nothing you couldn’t make at home pretty easily. Pizza was also very average. Maybe we got the wrong dishes but I don’t think so. Also if you have vouchers you must spend all it as they will not give you a voucher or change back if you do not, which feels either illegal or a bit scammy?

Phoned late afternoon 16th November for a table for 3, at around 17.30, I was offered a table under the heated umbrellas outside. The menu ticked the box for my daughter so I accepted the table offer. Absolutely no regrets, the heaters under the umbrellas are well effective so no worries of being cold. The service was second to none. The menu is really good. The food, oh wow, really good. I'll definitely make an effort to return to enjoy the atmosphere inside in the future. Appeared very popular. I would highly recommend. Booking appeared very necessary, I understand why.

Ciao Bella is a cheerful, bustling neighbourhood Italian. It's a rare find as neither part of a chain, nor ludicrously expensive/high end. It doesn't mess about. Dishes are uncomplicated, robust and tasty. Portion sizes are generous. Service is fast, unpretentious bordering on brusque, in a good way. It's buzzing and lively. Try not to be put off your food by the idea that it's where Bojo romanced Jennifer Arcuri (allegedly!).

Food: We started with the Vongole and Cortoccio with wine sauce. The pasta was cooked to perfection, with a delightful texture and seasoned just right. The Calzone was generously sized and full of flavor, making it a standout dish. The highlight of the meal, however, was the Tiramisu. It was wonderfully balanced—not overly sweet, with a rich and complex flavor that really stood out. Service & Atmosphere: The service was solid, with a lively but not overwhelming atmosphere. While the space can feel a bit crowded, it never reaches the point of being distracting, allowing for a comfortable dining experience.

I ate here on a busy weekend as part of a slightly chaotic group of 10 extended family members. We were seated on one of two large tables in the basement. Unfortunately the other table was occupied by a rowdy stag do, but it didn't do much to dampen my enjoyment of this lovely restaurant! The service was superb, our waiter was friendly, helpful (answering all sorts of queries from us), and full of good humour. The staff apologised for the noise despite it being out of their control, and ensured we were served promptly. The food was delicious- I had a pizza, which was cooked and topped perfectly. I'd highly recommend the spicy pizzas. The loos were clean and tidy for another bonus. It's definitely a restaurant I'd happily return to on a future visit to London, especially in the beautiful Lamb's Conduit Street area.

My pasta was simply dreadful. It came swimming in a sauce, the broccoli were undercooked and the anchovies who were supposed to be in there were nowhere to be seen, when I asked about it, the waitress then brought some extra and just stomped them on the table as if I had asked for a miracle. Didn't eat the pasta no one checked or asked if there was anything wrong with the food. Really confused as to why this restaurant is so busy.

It's OK. But maybe a tad overrated. Very crowded, smoking was allowed (outside seating) and a horrible smell when you're eating. I find it rude for staff to seat us outside without asking if smoke would offend us. So far, "British" Italians have been less than charming, and I would say unfriendly. Come on, London Italians smile a little. Very basic flavor: Where were the garlic, fresh herbs, seasons? Tirimisu was missing something. Sorry, but with all the choices, why is this so popular.

Never paid a service charge so begrudgingly in my life. We shared the starter which was essentially a ball of cheese deep fried in breadcrumbs but had clearly been in the freezer a long time as it was cold in the centre and the breadcrumb coating was slimey and separated completely from the cheese when we tried to cut it in half. I had the carbonara, which was riddled with reems and reems of fatty bacon. My partner had a seafood pasta which was ridiculously dry, had no sauce at all and was undercooked. Not to mention the wait staff were quite rude, never checked in on us during the meal, you almost lost an elbow when they put the plates down, and everything that was put down on our table from cutlery to plates to the bill was flung down without saying a word to us. I ordered the chilli prawns and “vegetables of the day” - the veggies were frozen from a packet!!! You would expect them to be fresh atleast. My friend ordered the spaghetti and clams, it was pretty much butter and spaghetti with a few clams. Not worth it, wouldn’t go back. Having just come back from Rome; this does not compare in the slightest to true Italian food and flavours. Prawns were hard and chewy and very overcooked. Pleasant outside terrace, lovely staff, really delicious food. Great place for a summer afternoon but can get hot if not under shade.

A friendly restaurant with attentive staff and excellent pizzas. It’s always busy, and the coffee is great. Highly recommended! See you soon

Really bad food, seems they use expired products or frozen ones. Dirty restaurant and bad smell. You get overcharged for no reason, seems this is regular practice from other reviews here.

Very tasty and refined food. Friendly staff! It's just a pity that a tip is already added at checkout. (12.5%)
