The burgers were ok. Nothing great. I had the buffalo and it was fine. The chips were much better than the burgers. The service was great.

Nothing special. Average burgers.

It's rare to find a place where both the food and the people make such a great impression. I'll definitely be back!

A quick lunch on the run - nice place about 7 min stroll from Tottenham Court Rd station - ordered the honest burher with rosemary fries. Burger was good- maybe needed more seasoning- fries excellent. Would return

Excellent! One of us is celiac and we have not had any type of problem, in fact, almost everything on the menu was suitable! Apart from the fact that there are veggie and vegetarian options🥰 On the part of the service, very friendly and welcoming, a true wonder in every way.

I've just had a fabtastic double chilli burger, (cooked medium). The best burger I've had in a long time, certainly in the UK. Having lived in Minneapolis, and worked in Chicago in the 80's. (Exceptions being Portimão and Manneheim). We loved the rosemary fries too! If you're at UCLH like us, you must come here for a pit stop, you will not be dissapointed. Excellent 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Nice venue with good hamburgers and definitely house made big onion ings and rosemary chips. Good selection of beverages and amazingly spicy ginger ale from Gingerella brand. Highly recommended

I LOVE this burger shop!!! Myp friend recommended me this place and I came last night. The beef burger was soooo delicious!! Beer was also good. I came back here again this morning and got the same beef burger and another kind of beer. Those were soooo good as well!! The shop staff are all so kind and smily. Definitely this is the best place to visit in London. Also one of the staff Rafal helped me a lot with an interview for English learners in Japan. Thank you so much for your help! I'll absolutely come back again next time I visit London.

Great flavours, presentation, prices what you would expect for the location. Only fault is the quality of the meat used in the smash burger, there were bits of gristle and party's are overcooked and chewy.

We visited the restaurant as a group of four, with two adults and two children. The adult burgers were absolutely delicious, and the fries were just as good. However, the kids' burgers were disappointing, as they barely had any chicken, and the fries weren't as tasty as the ones served with the adult meals. On a positive note, the service was very friendly.

Fast food restaurant with high quality burgers and chicken fillet, excellent service and staff, the food is tasty but not suitable for children, hope they will add kids menu. My only negative point was with the chips it was very small and chopped not a fries!!

You are advised not to go for your own safety! The fries doesn’t smell good. probably i guess it is made with oil that has been used for thousands of years. My bag was dragged from our table to the thieves table and when we told the staff, they refused help us.

The only reason for the three-star review is the staff: friendly and efficient. Regarding food, I wasted nearly £19.- The burger was absolutely tasteless. I had the pesto chicken burger and the pesto was acid and making no different whatsoever. I was having chicken and it's appreciated but the whole dish was not worth another visit. The chips were really good but the rosemary makes no difference. They would be better off the herb. However, they were the best part of the meal. Lovely staff. £1.70.- table service was charged. Loved the burgers! Got the Warren Street burger and the buffalo burger and both were fantastic. The side salad that came with it was also so good and was the perfect balance to such a hefty meal. Only thing I’d say was that I waited over 30 mins for my burger but they did say that they were short on staff so it’s understandable.

Best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had.

I usually love Honest Burgers but my visit to the Warren Street location was a bit of a flop. Service was not great - most of the servers looked uninterested and were not particularly welcoming or friendly. I was also rushed out by being given the bill (with the waitress standing there with the card machine) without me asking for it or without being asked if I wanted anything else to eat or drink. Reminder that the burgers are served medium as standard - my beef burger was certainly rare rather than medium so if you like it more towards well done then make sure to say. Otherwise great gluten free options. Would attend again counting on that being an off day.

A great late night option. The portion sizes are very generous with good quality good. Would definitely recommend.

Aside from the terrible fries-more accurately, tiny pieces of fries I didn't get all the toppings I paid for on my very small burger. The onion rings portion was 3 rings, I've very cheap plastic cheese they use, and I got ice after asking for no ice. Worst of all I had a very unpleasant bowel experince about 6, 8 and 12hrs after eating here. Note I had the burger cooked in the way the waitress advised. Avoid unless you hate the person you're eating with. The toilet was disgusting too.

The manager is so wonderfully friendly. We ordered a takeaway and she offered us a seat and water while we waited. It felt as though she was welcoming you into her home, to be honest. The food was, as ever, awesome with every burger being able to be made gluten free with a gluten free bun. Loved this place before and made even better with the homely atmosphere

The restaurant offers a beautiful ambience, slightly wicked and the chicken meat is even halal. Rosemary fries are super delicious and the chicken burgers are delicious with a spicy sour cream sauce. It tastes really good and is definitely worth a visit for lunch. It's expensive, but that's basically London. I was there with my partner, we paid €45 for two chicken burgers with fries and two cokes. Service is excellent and asks if everything is ok and it tastes good. I found it very attentive

Honest Burgers was heaven for someone who is Gluten Free and a Celiac. The food was clean and delicious. The onion rings blew my mind and the first I’ve ever had. What made the place amazing was the people who worked there. Jesse was friendly, answered all our questions and genuinely saved our night as he was happy to serve us even as the night was getting late. If I lived in London, I would eat there all the time. 10/10!!

Hey! Hey you! Yeah you, the one doom scrolling and maybe not taking the time to read a review! I’ll make this simple. EAT the burger! Best dang burger I have had in London. I come from the PNW in the US, so I know burgers. I also grew up in ID (one of the US’ largest growers of potatoes) so I know chips/fries. The food was amazing! Did I mention mine was vegetarian? I had the Bacon Plant 2.0. It is the first vegetarian burger I’ve ever had that tastes properly like a bacon burger. I would suggest a bit more rocket on it and slightly more sauce. (My peeps from the US, be warned, the pickles are not what you are used to. I suggest getting them on the side and then adding them if you like them.) The mind lemonade was very minty but refreshing and not too sweet. The chips/fries are fabulous! They were crispy and fresh and are seasoned perfectly and have just the tiniest touch of rosemary which really elevates them to another level. The one and ONLY thing I didn’t enjoy and the only reason I did not give Honest Burgers a full five stars was the atmosphere. It was so incredibly loud I had to put in my earplugs. Even with them in it was almost deafening. It made eating in highly unpleasant. Additionally the table was sticky/tacky which was unpleasant. So if you’ve made it down this far in my review (also well done you), I would absolutely suggest that you eat at Honest burgers, just maybe don’t eat in or just don’t eat during peak hours. Do enjoy!

We came on a Monday afternoon, it wasn’t too busy. The service was great, the service was attentive and the food came really quickly. We had a huge portion of fries and even though the burger was a little dry, overall we had a really great meal.

Great burgers, really good. Possibility to order gluten-free bread. Handy place, industrial style, a beautiful atmosphere for an easy dinner!

Poor service compared to other branches. Impatient and sarcastic with questions regarding available options. Also, misleading advertisement of their menu. Didn’t order drinks, asked for tap water, never served. Slow serving despite no crowds. Overly salty burger and chips. Even whilst paying, the waiter still mocking at me presenting at the counter to pay and asked for a receipt. Absolutely inappropriate! Kind enough to not remove the service charge for everyone working hard on the Bank Holiday. Definitely DONT visit this branch if possible, and there’s other awesome burger places in centre London which is extremely near by!

We had the best dining experience, the waitress was beyond welcoming and friendly throughout the whole time we were here. It was all done to our preference and the quality of the meat was great. Service was fast and there was an error to the order and she resolved it immediately, this is by far the best branch of this restaurant. Big thanks to Virginie!!!

A nice surprise and a nice place to eat to if you’re a burger lover. Everything is homemade including the sauce (gravy smoked bacon). The chips are really tasty, really well perfumed with the rosemary. The homemade coleslaw is excellent as well as the burgers. The cooking of the meat is mastered. The products are from local farms. I really recommend this place 👌

Great tasty burgers and good service. The plant burger is really good if you're veggie (it may be vegan I'm not sure). With any Honest Burgers it definitely helps to book a table in advance otherwise there is often a wait.

Waited for 15 min but not being served. Asked to place order but still being ignored. Went to Franco Manca a few doors down and had nice food and good service.

Visited honest burger after 3 years and the quality has definitely gone down. The fries 😫😖. It was not good and for the price you pay, there are definitely better options out there. I complained about the chips and the waiter suggested if I want more fries. Not going back.

Cool place, great service, I just found the food to be a bit lacking. Chips were old and over cooked and the burger was a bit dry. Disappointing for the cost - I am comparing the food here to the Liverpool Street branch which is better imo

Some of the best burgers in London. Chicken only is halal so I'm in there whenever there's a new chicken variation or recipe - most recently the carolina. Glad that they care to accommodate! Staff always the friendliest and amazingly helpful. Always check on you and behave attentively, offering extras etc. Queue system and management very good. Menu very extensive and broken down well. They offer NHS discount too which is a great bonus. Always reasonably priced otherwise. The Rosemary chips are always a hit too. I'll be back when there's a new chicken burger 🐔 🍔

Very nice waiter and gluten free option for the bun in the burger !

I am a 5 ft girl and vegan I asked for a kids portion because I cannot physically eat the big portions, and there is no small plate for me, the manager comes after I’ve asked for her and tells me that there is a smaller burger which is with meat from the menu and I tell her that I’m vegan and I want the small portion because I don’t eat a lot and I don’t want to take it home and I don’t want to waste food, the problem is not solved. The manager tells me that if they allowed customers to have kids portions they would get used to eat from the kids menu I can’t see anything wrong for people to decide the size of the portion they want to eat. I do work in a restaurant and every person can decide on what they want to eat I won’t stop anyone from eating from the kids menu if they’re not hungry or if they are smaller than the average person. It’s a win win by the end I come to eat ready to pay for my meal and the won’t give me the meal that I want. It’s such a pity, I’m deeply disappointed from such a big chain. The thing is I have the money to pay but I can’t see the reason to pay for something that will go to waste by the end. Such a pity, you lost me as a customer and I don’t appreciate the policy.

I love this chain of burgers, their recipe has remained the same throughout the years. The chips are particularly good, they taste divine and it s always a good portion. The Warren Street branch has quite a lot of space, toilets are at the back. They also have 6 seats tables to share with strangers, and many 2 seats ones.

First time eating here today amazing food staff were very efficient and polite will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy great food

Part of honest burgers chain restaurants. The burguer was better than expected to be honest, very tasty and yummy. You can easily taste the quality of the products and the balance of the flavors with the sauce. We tried the tribute and it was perfect, sided with the rosemary fríes made an awesome couple. Lovely staff and very good place, i would love to try another time.

Lovely atmosphere with good service and tasty food

Would only go if invited. They for some reason didn't take my friends order despite me requesting two burgers, when it did come it came wrong so had to send it back. The cans of coke come with a straw placed weirdly through the ring which was just odd. No glass no ice. Ok. Tables and chairs are weird as f. It's like having garden furniture in a restaurant. Weird. Too small and cramped in space wise. Not enough spaces between tables to move freely. Nice burgers but can a decent burger anywhere. Wouldn't go back again. Totally overrated and cramped. Need better tables, more space and better light. More attentive service. Staff seem too relaxed, when I asked a waitress where my friends burger was she shrugged and said I don't know didn't take the order. Yeah, thanks dude. I don't understand why two of us would go to a burger joint and only order one burger so that made no sense 😂. Don't bother.

Hamburgers are delicious! The staff are also friendly. The onion rings are delicious, but the portion size is quite large, so share them with two people. And the side fries were also huge...

Ordered chicken burger and beef burger, both with chips. Plus onion rings. Burgers were bland and unimaginative. Defo not worth the price. And chips looked like scraps of potatoes deep fried. Took 15 to make the food. Venue was cramped and hot and stuffy. I want a refund. Do not recommend.

The peculiar practice of presenting the dish solely with a knife, sans fork, added an unnecessary layer of inconvenience. Cue the universal ritual of beseeching the waitress for utensils, a shared experience among patrons. Now, onto the lackluster burger – a well-intentioned effort that crumbled in execution. Devoid of juiciness and flavor, the dry bun encapsulated the disappointment. Requesting a medium rare patty resulted in a well-cooked anomaly, concluding my subpar burger experience in record time. Let's not forget the fries, reminiscent of a home-cooking catastrophe. A symphony of overcooking, excessive salting, and an assortment of herbs obliterated any semblance of true fry goodness. Seeking solace, I turned to my neighboring diner, a stranger until then, only to discover unanimous disdain for the fries and mutual agreement that our home-cooked endeavors would outshine this culinary letdown. Priced at £20, this ill-fated attempt at indulgence left me feeling like a victim of culinary highway robbery. To add insult to injury, the unfortunate aftermath included a 5:30 pm stomach ache, an enduring taste of subpar fries, and the abrupt cancellation of a planned night out with friends. 'Honest Burgers' lived up to their name, as I genuinely feel poisoned. A stern piece of advice: steer clear of this establishment at all costs. Your taste buds and well-being will thank you.

Friendly, yet hard working staff makes the difference, topping nice and juicy burgers and delicious fries. I was welcomed as I entered, and got a small table for one. I got my beer shortly after and enjoyed the atmosphere. After a long while, I reached out to get my food. By mistake, it had been forgotten, but was served shortly after, with apologies. The staff even insisted on serving me free of charge due to the waiting time! I will most certainly come back and encourage you to try it out as well.

Excellent burgers, great welcome

I did a takeaway. I really like the care and attention that honest burgers put into their presentation. The burgers are so tasty as well. My other point is that it was less than £14 for a burger and chips in London is very good. I didn’t have chips I had the coleslaw which was lovely. Proper good quality food.
