Pret a Manger in Camden

Greqt service. Needed some power to charge my phone which had died so I could get my eTicket for the international train and they helped me out. Great Italian prosciutto sandwhich and a good espresso. Had a piece of lemon cake which was awesome. Good food, clean floors and service with a smile. Love the Pret a Manger chain!

Come here and try the ham and tomato brioche in the morning. Worth it.

Got toast with ham and cheese...toast was dry...cheese and ham was okay.

Great chain and not as typical of Starbucks as in Germany. Lots of fresh products and the prices are absolutely ok for London. Unfortunately you can't download the app from the German App Store, which is a real shame. Here the company should probably... initiate changes again.

Tried to buy a sandwich this morning The person behind the counter said good morning and I put my purchase on the counter Then she proceeded to do something other than scan my sandwich, so I was left waiting

Nice food, but not everything always available. Not cheap, but better than an average take out lunch.

Fantastic staff and service but let down by the food. There is never any change in the soups! Why is this, since all the other Pret stores regularly change soup recipes?

I go to this Pret regularly for my morning coffee to work but there is one female member of staff here who is so rude, passive aggressive, ignores you, intentionally makes you wait then calls you over then dismisses you, i absolutely dread being served by her!! The remaining staff and manager here are so very nice…………but avoid the dyed blond haired assistant!!! 😩🤯😖🤷🏻‍♀️

One of the best pret I go to. I go to this store regularly and the staff is so friendly and welcoming all the time. No matter how busy or understaffed they are, they always smile and make the drinks super fast. Thank you for everything you do every day! The old staff are incredible at both dealing with situations and creating a genuine connection with customers.

I came in here for a drink before an interview not too long ago. I have to say there was one female member of staff who hated her job and made it evident in her interactions with the customers. I ordered one drink and was cut off twice to be aggressively asked to pay. I was also treated to an eye roll when I asked to use the customer toilet after making an order. The cherry on the cake was the grimacing fake smile I was sent off with, followed by another eye roll on my way out. Simply disgusting and uncomfortable experience that has put me off this particular store. Managers, get this employee some training or a raise so she can stop taking it out on customers.

Staff are vicious bullies. Horrifying store. Make sure to avoid, unless you are okay with being subject to verbal assault. Baristas will bring you to tears and humiliate you whilst mocking and jeering.

Could’ve been better but the staffs are utterly rude. This place used to be really good. All I ask for is a drink, so they make me feel unwelcomed and I can’t even trust them with my drink. you’ve lost a loyal customer

I wouldn’t think it needs a review because the obvious answer is this place is amazing, food excellent and service is second to none. Love this place and would highly recommend. Budget friendly and no compromise whatsoever on the food quality!

A very small Pret, typical of a metro station or even a train. A convenience store, and basically Pret-a-Manger is very convenient for any type of meal, morning, afternoon or night.

Reliable as always, can’t go wrong.

the blond woman has been repeatedly rude to me and my colleagues. First refusing to make eye contact with us when ordering making the experience really unpleasant and confusing, and on another occasion, shouting at me and arguing with me across the cafe. Unprovoked .

I’ve been here many times and always the 2 blonde woman at the till are always rude with an attitude towards the customers. Poor customer service overall, unwelcoming staff and poor atmosphere!

For the third time, I have ordered a sandwich which has very little filling. Salmon sandwich contains just one thin slice of salmon. I’ve noticed that the portions are smaller here than in other Prets.

Obviously the harsh reviews have been taken to heart. Staff were friendly today. Coffee as usual (good). I tried the salmon rye roll (wow - great).

Saturday 6.35 still closed (opening time 6am-8pm). Staff very unhelpful and rude.

Came at an off-peak time and bought a salad. After paying the 25% mark up to eat in (it was raining outside), there were no forks. At all. In the entire place. I took my salad back for a refund so I could go eat at a restaurant that actually provides utensils, and the people working copped an attitude. I won’t complain too much about the abysmal service, since I bet the people working here don’t get paid enough for that. But I wasn’t going to pay extra to eat my salad with a spoon. They refunded the salad but not the drink and I had to go somewhere else. Luckily there are dozens of not hundreds of food establishments in the area. Definitely give this place a pass.

Have long been a fan of Pret, but this branch was not good enough. Scruffy-looking seating area. Counter assistant kept wiping his nose with his fingers while serving food and taking money. I couldn't collect my toasties straightway (as I had luggage and a tray of drinks), so the assistant just left them on the counter. I returned and waited by the counter, only to find the heated toasties sitting there all along. Too few staff doing too many jobs at the same time. Only positive was the good quality onion bhajee and cheese sandwich.

Barista was not only rude to the lady in front of me, urging her to hurry up and being snappy with her but rude to me as well. She made multiple angry remarks as I was paying for my items and blamed me for issues going on with the scanner. Was clearly having a hard day which I understand as a service worker myself, however taking it out on the customers is never ok and leaves a bad reputation. I had never had an experience like this at pret before but it definitely changed how I feel about it. Quite a bummer

Oh Maria - I think you should get a new job. If you don’t like making eye contact maybe customer services isn't for you! Barking orders at people in front of customers is also not a good look. Finally don’t dare try to pay her with cash - get told off for that! Thought maybe she was having a bad day but after speaking with colleagues it’s an every day thing!

The flat white I bought is ok kotu no, I think it can't be that milk is poured on the top of the waiting coffe, plus if you ask many people, they will all say it's bad, change it, I threw the pret coffe in the trash.

Ich wünschte, diese Kette würde es auch anderswo geben! Gesund, frisch, relativ günstige Preise und ein reichhaltiges Angebot für fast alle Ernährungsbedürfnisse. Wir waren bei unserem Urlaub in mehreren Filialen, sogar nochmals am Flughafen, und wurden nie enttäuscht!

The worst customer services I've ever received. The female employee with black glasses needs to leave her attitude at home. The manager doesn't care that one of her employees is rude to customers. Canceling the Pret A Manger membership because of the terrible services I've received for the 4 times I've gone there.

It was a quiet Monday late morning. I was standing ready at the counter to pick up my Americano, when the French barista shouted at my face to pick it up (I had been looking at my phone and hadn’t heard her the first time). It wasn’t particularly busy, and she could have just handed me the coffee, but instead she placed it about 3 feet away from me on the counter and barked at me to pick it up. Found it really rude, I asked her not to shout at me and she didn’t even apologise, just went back to gossiping with her colleague.

Opening times online are wrong, walked all the way to this location before my train for an iced drink to find it was closed despite previously checking on maps which locations were open

I go to this place almost every day and I never come across such a rude customer service like from one of the employee extremely rude she should focus more about her customer service

Très bien placé juste en face du Pullman, si vous voulez faire une pause gourmande, petit déjeuner, déjeuner ou dîner, pourquoi pas ! On y trouve globalement les mêmes produits que dans les établissements PAM de France. Pas mal de monde pendant la pause déjeuner donc essayez d'arriver un peu avant si vous voulez une place assise. Certains (es) viennent pour bosser avec leur PC ou MAC mais si ils n'occupent qu'une seule place, les anglais vous permettront volontiers de vous assoir à la même table.

All right. A place where you can go when you don't want to find funny surprises. Average food and prices. Peaceful atmosphere and simple interior design with little wooden tables and minimalistic style. Good choice if you want to eat something and don't know what and also if you are in a hurry. Good takeaway, not best in dine in.

Had an issue with subscription one team member very unhelpful. However one very helpful Ozman. Store good tidy, well stocked and usual quick service even when busy.

Attendant charged me wrongly and asked me to pay for a second time (I was using my cellphone as a contactless card). Then she chose the wrong option, not allowing me to pay in contactless mode, I tried to explain and a second attendant started to speak harsly to me, as if I wasnot wanting to pay. I Wonder if as a White male they would act the same way.

Pre a manger는 불어로 '쁘레타 망제'라고 읽고 뜻은 'ready to eat' 신기한 것은 런던 어느 곳에 가도 눈에 띈다는 것. 매우 사람들이 붐비는 리젠트 스트리트에도 있고, 여기 세인트 판크라스 역 앞에도 있다 한 마디로 요즘 서울에 어느 동네를 가도 스타벅스가 있는것 처럼 ... 메뉴는 좀 다르다 ~ 이곳은 서브웨이+스타벅스 메뉴 스타일에 가격과 분위기는 맥도날드. 한 마디로 여러가지 장점을 살린 프랜차이즈 인데 영국에서는 대박난듯 ㅎ 매우 신선하며 간단하고 저렴한 한 끼를 즐길 수 있도록 서비스를 제공하는 식당. 쁘레타 망제 ~~ 먹을 준비 됐나요??

This was the first Pret I had visited, and it became my go-to Pret during my initial days in London. It always has a lot of options, but it is always packed with a lot of people who pick their daily coffee before heading to office or the stations, and even with students from the UCL or other institutes in the area.

Great choice of fresh sandwiches, drinks, and pastry. Ideal for a quick breakfast or lunch. Free WiFi and places to sit down. Good place to pick up a picnic lunch before a train ride.

They allowed people to walk in and steal food. Pathetic London.

An OK Pret in that you get what you expect. Food quality and variety is as normal. The place was a bit untidy but what I noticed was that the staff were getting in each others way and folks orders were being mixed up as a result. Despite a number being on duty, they still had folks waiting at the side for coffees and drinks but frankly, I would not have said the place was particularly busy.l Would I use it again? Probably if in the area and as someone who is addicted to Pret soup, their Red Thai Veg was amazing, followed closely by the Swedish meat ball wrap.

Top many people using it as an office taking up all the seating

Set up in a good location with quick service. However, it is really busy and might have to wait in queue if in a rush.

The service is quite poor. Opening time is not correct. It's depends on the staff mood.

Our train was delayed and these guys were just about to close but they served us anyway fantastic customer service, kind and thoughtful staff who were happy even after a long shift to serve with a smile . My husband wanted a coffee even though they had stopped serving coffee to clean the machine down they made him one nothing was too much trouble

A staff member emptied the bin with cutlery but don’t even bother to wipe up on top. But they do have time to chat . My 8 month pregnant partner came in with a friend purchased a coffee and asked if she could use the bathroom and have her water bottle filled. She was met by rude staff who told her to fill her own bottle and was told that she was not allowed to use the bathroom. This has now resulted in a major embarrassing accident and humiliation. This behaviour by pret is disgusting of them to humiliate a paying customer this way.

Great customer service! The store was about to close, however they kept it open for a few more minutes in order to quickly grab a meal. Which, by the way, tasted really good. Much appreciated!

It's a Pret, so standard Pret faire available. It's ok, small place that gets really crowded at lunch. Staff are always lovely.

Pret is always, welcoming and do a good display, of things we like especially ,their hot food and dessert$, on a miserable cold day . Not to mention, a wide range ,of hot and cold drinks .

I have lactose intolerance.i asked for a coconut hot chocolate and they game me one with normal milk.i repeated that I cannot drink it and a few seconds later they gave me supposedly the drink I asked.apparently those seconds was the time to just put the coconut sticker on the top and pretend that this was what I ordered.they think that we are stupid not to realise the difference when we have intolerance to an ingredient...this is ridiculous...

Nice location for a coffee shop. However, most of the time they don't have chocolate. So, if you are looking for a mocha or hot chocolate, you will be disappointed.

The subscription is ace...also the vegan options are good...I'd love to see a vegan breakfast roll though.

Came to pick up something easy to improve my morning but I am still astonished with the fact they could manage to ruin a Ham and Cheese sandwich, which tastes old and frozen at the same time and a Flat white which tastes like simply hot water -dirty water, I would say after taking off the lid-. AVOID THIS PLACE! Tables full of rubbish, loud music, 12 staff members behind the counter and not even one that actually knows what’s a vegan option. I’ve been in London for 7 years but I’ve never been to such a disorganised, unwelcoming place since I arrived in this city!!

Handling orders should not be rocket science. I use this Pret as it is close to me, but it is a total chaos, I have to tell my order 3 times to get my coffee. They definitely can not handle multiple orders. They should be all replaced or find a proper system. I do not understand taking 10 orders while you can handle 4-5. So make people wait before taking the order, not after! Take 4-5 orders at once, and make them ready, take a new one when an order is ready. Simple! Today is my last time with this Pret.
