I just came in here because I couldn’t find a place to calmly charge my phone, I asked the polite lady if I might sit outside and charge my phone using my MacBook. Surprisingly enough she even offered me a seat inside to charge it with a stationary charger and on top offered free pizza, because they would have had thrown it away otherwise. Unfortunately I refused because I was on a diet but the gesture showed so much warmth and welcoming, wow.

My son & I ate here on the Sat of the Rugby Champions Cup final between Leinster & Toulouse. approx 630-7pm in the evening. We were looking for a lovely pizza restaurant, we were hungry & in London felt we couldn't go wrong. We chose Homeslice as it had a wood burning oven & we were also starving. We went in & could see so many free tables & booths which was surprising given it was a Saturday evening, thought it would be busier. The girl was welcoming & showed us to a table for 2, I asked could we move to the booth which would be more comfortable but she said that they were keeping that for possible reservations...1 of either 4 or 5 of the booths in that section was only in use. The place is spacious, loads of tables so this annoyed me as it was unjustifiable to us as paying customers. It would be different if it was busy. I had never eaten in homeslice before & maybe the clue is in the name...it was buy by slice or by a monstrosity of a pizza 20". My son & I said we'd buy the big pizza, knowing full well we wouldn't finish it. The girl pointed out that we could go half & half which was great in terms of toppings BUT it had to be from the pizza's listed on the menu - no going rogue & asking for toppings that weren't already made up in one of their listed pizza's...found that a bit ridiculous, not a huge meat eater on a pizza so only wanted olives, anchovies on one side but she said they don't do anchovies! This is supposed to be a pizza restaurant...I said I'd accompany the pizza with a salad but I was informed they don't do salad....pizza & salad is like strawberries & cream...they go together. This was not going well I won't lie. The huge pizza arrived & straight away could see that some parts were cooked more than others especially on the crust, some very doughy, not cooked fully & stodgy as it was further away from the heat a the oven entrance. I asked for a plate plus a knife & fork to be told we don't do such things - a paper plate each arrived....come on, it's not a kids party please!! Look I get it, business model in the heart of the financial district, feed people on the move, fast & attract big groups at minimal cost of clean-up. But you know, the weekend is NOT the busy bustle of the cut & thrust during the week, be more flexible to customers who want a dining experience, not a takeaway feel which this clearly was. I didn't enjoy the experience at all & couldn't wait to get out of there. The lady I paid on the till did NOT ask how was everything was, meal or experience...did NOT want to know at all! That makes a statement in itself. Disappointing across the board, restaurants & especially staff need to understand & be flexible to their customers coming in the door....sadly no concept of that here.

Some of the best pizza you can get in London served on big platters with paper plates. Highly recommend ordering whole pizzas but doing half-and-half so you can try multiple pizzas.

Me and some colleagues had lunch here on my recommendation and home slice didn’t disappoint. Both myself and my colleagues loved the food! They cater well to both meat eaters and vegetarians. They clearly prepare their pizzas with fresh dough and toppings and it shows! My colleagues have all said they will be returning. Thanks for a great lunch stop 👍🏻

We hosted a work get together for a joint birthday and baby shower. The team got us a great table and were really helpful explaining the menu and how much we would need between us. We had 4 pizzas between 9 and it was perfect! The mushroom ricotta pizza was everyone’s favourite (even the meat eaters!) but all the pizzas were great. The team brought the birthday cake out as a surprise at the perfect moment. Brilliant service and amazing value restaurant. If you are really into your wines this isn’t the place for you - it’s “red” “white” or “rosé” on offer but the beers were great!

Waited 30 minutes for 1 simple pizza (straight off menu no extra special toppings), had to cut it ourselves with a blunt cutter, served on paper plates, had to ask for napkins. Also noticed a table with 12 people where one of them had to come up and ask for someone to take their order. Charged £32 for the privilege. No drinks, just sparkling water.

Met my daughter for a pint and a pizza after work. Had not been here before. Amazing! One shares a huge pizza, splitting the toppings 50/50. Looked great, tasted fantastic, good beers, very good value. Will return.

Good pizza. We did the half and half. Drinks were not very good, the wine tasted cheap . Also, why can’t they give us proper wine glasses Toppings and flavours that came with the pizza where delicious and very innovative. The sauces are also delicious.

I've been here a few times and the pizza has always been very good. On 14 Jan 2023, I returned with two friends to enjoy a pizza and a drink. We were made welcome and our order was taken. At this point, we spotted a mouse running around inside the restaurant, under the tables. We informed the staff. Later on, we heard other customers also informing the staff after spotting the mouse. We decided to stay and eat the pizza, which was very good as usual. But the thought of the mouse infestation conjures up worries over how the ingredients are stored and what steps are being taken to make the restaurant hygienic. I think we will be staying away for a while.

Really outstanding pizza here, with probably the best pizza crust I've had in England. The space itself is centrally located, with lots of seating, and there's a great atmosphere. The menu is extremely limited to just a few pizzas (e.g.: no list of toppings to choose from), but what's here is very good. The pizza is staggeringly expensive, at about £26 per pizza, and although they're enormous, that lovely crust is paper thin. We had 3 adults and a child working on one pizza, and when I was done I wasn't actually sure I had eaten anything at all; you really need two pies for four people. It's delicious, but £52 to get enough pizza for four moderate eaters is really too much.

Taylor and her team were amazing when I wanted to bring my friend for her birthday lunch today. I arranged pre-payment so to avoid that awkward tussle at the end of the meal. Taylor and her team ensured it all went smoothly and according to plan. Service and food were very impressive! All round AMAZING!

Came here on a Saturday night and was expecting it to be busy like the one in Covent Garden but it wasn’t at all! The service was fast and the pizza was tasty. We just weren’t particularly wowed by the flavours and we heard them say our their cocktails come out of a can! We had a nice meal though and there was nothing wrong with it.

A group of nine of us arrived just before 9pm and we were sat down smack in the middle of the restaurant, impossible to miss. After waiting a while to be served, we got a round of drinks. I ordered sparkling water which to my surprise, came in a restaurant-branded STILL bottle. It didn't taste or feel like sparkling so drew this to the manager's attention. He seemed uninterested and pointed out "the glass has bubbles". I told him it was no good, and his blasé comment was "maybe it's just flat". No sh!t Sherlock... Undeterred we ordered 5 pizzas for the table and waited.... and waited.... and waited. Tables that had come in considerably after us were tucking into their pizza, while we waited and waited. After an hour we questioned where our food was, and they huddled over in a group looking confused and looking over at the table with bemusement. One of our group went over to see what was going on, and they said that the cook has lost our order. By this time it was past 22:10 and late. They said the food would be ready in 10 minutes. No apology, no sorry, no nothing. We said we didn't want the food anymore and walked out. Only then did the manager spring to life and follow us out to say we had to pay for our soft drinks. We said that these should really be on the house for the inconvenience but he wasn't having it. We paid for our drinks and said how is it possible that nobody spotted that the main table smack in the middle of the restaurant could have gone so unattended that nobody spotted we'd not been served anything. He shrugged his shoulders and went about his way. This left a very sour taste in our mouths and will be removing the restaurant from the suggested places our large insurer takes clients, hosts events and otherwise throws ample business to. The management and staff need some serious customer service training.
