The meat and all the seafood are fresh and nice. The service is amazing and the stuff are very friendly. I would come here again.

A slice of the orient near the Spittal street, in the middle of Edinburgh. Was there on 29th April, 2023 for dinner. Better to book a table before. On the evening before, when we reached at quarter to 8, they were about to close. Go before 7 pm. We opted for the Set beef Menu. You get served the raw portions and you cook them yourself , on the table! Wow. Beef tongue and Pork belly 👍. The skewers can be cooked in either of the two piping hot dips, as how spicy you want them to be. Hostess was very good and helpful.

Delicious food, the service excellent and courteous, absolutely recommend this place. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, I love the re-design of the restaurant; it feels more modern and chic. I had one of the rice dishes, a Wagyu Fried Rice, it was divine. Perfect for dates and groups, mostly of four people as there are limited seats.

We had a great time @Home27. Food was great and staff very kind and pedagogic. Both Bbq and hotpot were good. You have a lot of space between the tables, which is kinda rare in this kind of restaurant. It's a good plus !

Very, very good! We ordered the set menu for two of us. At first we thought it wouldn't be enough, but by the end we didn't finish it! There was too much meat! The service from the owner was exceptionally good and very friendly, felt like we were back in China. Highly recommended.

Really bad food i already book for hotpot and BBQ. But don’t have enough food I have to pay 73 pound . Very bad service staff. no matter how many times please do not listen, the food is nothing 2-3 pieces of meat and 2-3 skewers of vegetables. The food is really very bad. My first time eating a hot pot restaurant like this. I paid 73 pounds but it's not worth it, I can sympathize with the staff but the food is 0 points

Highly recommend this place - my partner really wanted to try the Hotpot/ barbecue and had done done research but otherwise we were newbies to the whole experience. The staff were very nice and the manager guided us through the whole process- we splashed out on the Wagu beef which did taste incredible and the experience of cooking your own food and eating it straight away was satisfying and fun. Amazing flavours and authentic taste of Korea.

I heard it was under new management, it used to be all you can eat hotpot, now it is not. It is now extremely expensive, we paid more than £60 for hotpot between 2 people and a few side dishes but we were left very hungry still at the end of dinner. It is a nice experience to try Chengdu hotpot though, the food was nice.

Trash restaurant, they only accept cash or Wechat payments for tax evasion, asked for a payment receipt but they only gave the bill invoice. Barbecue stews are all toasted as burnt and taste like slippers, and price are soaringly high.

Excellent experience, the lady helping us was extremely accommodating, she helped us with grilling and cutting the meat, and was always eager to assist or answer any questions. Would definitely visit again!

Me and my friend went there for dinner, it was totally different from 2019, I really like the decoration of the restaurant and we ordered the set meal hotpot and bbq together, like the photos, they are really fresh, ox tongue is amazing, it was too much food for me and my friend but we really love it. Staff really nice they helped us on bbq and they even told us when is the best timing for beef, excellent!! We went there Monday night already full of people, probably need to book a table if you want to go at night! Anyway highly Recommend!!

Went for a lunch, there was no music and was freezing. The menu was offering sharing meats which were all frozen apart of the duck and the pork. The duck breast was carved in a way which was quicker to cook but at the same time all the juices were lost in that table grill. Also they did not inform us it was a cash only venue. Nice concept but too many issues during the service. I would go back if they will improve their standards.

Super delicious hot pot, super friendly and kind staff. We also ordered lamb and chicken skewers, beef and pork for the Korean barbecue, and some grilled bun - everything was delicious. They also have a choices of ingredients to make your own dip sauce. They also offers traditional Chinese dishes, but I recommend to try the hotpot!

We tried the hotpot, Korean bbq and the Chinese skewers which were great with a wide variety of options. The lady that served us was extremely patient, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time and experience. Will definitely go back when I visit Edinburgh again!

Really tasty food here!! CASH ONLY I'm not sure whether it was the time we went (a Sunday night) but it was eerily quiet in here, making it seem like the place was closed... But the food was so good! The skewers were really flavoursome, would highly recommend these! And we tried the beef flank noodle soup which was amazing and big enough to share between 2 people! Service was super quick and it is a strange vibe to the place, but ultimately the food is really good, so would definitely go back :)

Fantastic hot pot and Chinese BBQ. FYI the place is cash only and a bit pricy. Estimate about £20 a person. Would highly recommend making a reservation. The lady was very patient with us even though we were very new to this and confused.

I came here on a trip to Edinburgh for my partners birthday and was blown away by the variety, freshness and hospitality of this restaurant. The value is unbelievable at £22 you can have as much hot pot, Korean barbeque and Chinese skewer street food as you like and the options are so vast you have to go more than twice to try everything! I've never had hot pot before but had always wanted to try it and oh my god I was not disappointed. We chose the lamb rib broth and the chicken broth and it was so phenomenally warming and delicious I could have easily filled up a flask to drink throughout the day in the cold weather. The portions were so big and it was so entertaining cooking everything exactly how you like it and trying out the huge variety of dips, marinades and flavours. For me the gojuchang Korean barbeque sauce was a huge winner and the sesame peanut sauce which I dunked absolutely everything into. The staff were super friendly, showing us around and happy to explain the different ingredients that you may not come across in most western asian restaurants. I could really go on and on about how amazing this was but the only way to find out is to try it yourself. One warning though do not wear white!! It's a very fun but messy affair so careful if you are wearing pristine white clothing as we found out with a few chilli oil stains. I'm absolutely devastated that I'm not a local and can't go back here as often as I like but will deffo make another visit when I come back to Edinburgh!

I had a great time with my friends there. All you can eat menu is an awesome option. Gives you an opportunity of trying everything you like from different kinds of delicious meats, seafood through veggies, soy based stuff and a wide range of sauces. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Already looking forward to coming back. It’s a perfect spot for a date or smaller reunion. Lamb charcoal grilled skewers are sooooo good!

看着谷歌评分跑过来的。一开始有点失望。以为有炒菜，其实没有（只有一个炒蔬菜），主要是自助火锅烤肉和烤串。不过上菜后失望又变成了开心，炒菜分量超大，面和饭分量也很大, 烤串口味十分正宗。带妈妈来英国玩，这是她吃到觉得最满意的一顿哈哈哈

Now that was great... we had a Chinese hotpot and it was awesome. The staff where so welcoming and I had to shake the chefs hand as the food was so delicious & amazing!!! Come here for a mind-blowing authentic Szechuan meal! Spicy and numbing dishes such as the skewers, grilled fish etc are absolutely classic. You get to customise the dishes to your desired level of spiciness, but be warned, their default spice level is clearly above average. Ask for the most spicy if feeling adventurous!

Although I had little understanding of the cuisine served here the staff were more than accommodating to help me choose what's the most popular food items from their menu. If you like spicy food too then this place is definitely for you. I usually have quite spicy food but I only managed their mild level of spice when there's "spicy" and "very spicy"! Food was very tasty as well so I will definitely pay another visit here in the future.

Definitely THE 5 star Chinese restaurant in Edinburgh and easily one of the best. The grilled skewers are authentically delicious and a must (with plenty meat/vegetables selections). The dishes are very traditional and some of them hard to find in other restaurants. Noodles are nice too. Haven't tried the hot pot and signature boiling fish yet but they look delicious. Some dishes are (authentically) very spicy but non-spicy option is sometimes available so do double check before ordering. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, price is well reseasonable so this now becomes my favourite place in the city! Currently cash only so check with staff if cards are accepted.

最近新開的中餐餐廳，就位在ECA附近。他們的餐點都非常好吃！特別推薦烤串/冒菜和特色烤魚，味道之好！雖然場外只有一人有點人手不足，但老闆娘招待的非常周到！肯定會再來光顧的好吃餐廳！

路过了两天，每次都看到里面人满为患，有很多中国人光临，看着就特亲切。今天终于如愿以偿，在正月十五这一天再次团聚，热情的老板娘，让我们有回家的感觉，鱼香肉丝盖饭很赞，很地道，牛肉面量也很大，味道完美肉多面多。牛腩饭做的也不错，反正就是都很好吃。离爱丁堡城堡很近，建议前来玩儿的朋友在此用餐。除了炒菜，还有烧烤、麻辣香锅、烤鱼、火锅。

好吃，菜量足，今天元宵节，老板送了我们一份汤圆，非常温暖的家的感觉！

老闆熱忱推薦幾道鎮店之寶：麻辣烤魚，烤羊肉串和辣椒串，好吃到爆表。另外；牛肉麵堪稱一絕，小女兒ㄧ邊吃ㄧ邊說湯頭香純可口，ㄧ大碗獨享吃光。給5顆星都不為過，因爲美食當前人人愛，加上高師父和Lily的用心招待顧客，讓人感動不已。料好實在，愛丁堡的最優中式餐館。
