Holy Cow Burger Co. in Rotherham

Disgusting 🤢 Spent over £40 for 3 meals. Mozzarella sticks were rock solid. Chips were burnt along with the burger. Sadly waited over two hours too for it to be delivered. Very disappointing, even my young child was like we are never ordering from here again.

regardless of reviews I gave it a go. Ordered at 18:50, I called 20 minutes later and they said 30-40 minute delivery. one hour later I called again and they said it's out with delivery rider. 45 minutes later at 9pm on the dot food arrived at the door . 2 hours is ridiculous...but the chips were an **ok** temperature which meant they only just cooked it. mega share box was ok- overcooked beef burger as it was very dry.

After waiting over 2 1/2 hours for our order to arrive the food was awful. The burger was like the scrapings of the grill and the chips were cold and burnt. We will not be ordering again, avoid at all cost

Ordered for delivery and after an hour received a phone call saying I have got to collect. When I got to the place they then started making my order. 2 hours later I get home with cold food, missing items and the upgrades I paid for not on the burgers. Contacted via facebook to be ignored. Just terrible and managed so poorly.

I’ve ordered before here and always seem to have things missing. Last night it was an extra burger, cheese and sauces. It’s is quite expensive for what you get but I would be happy paying it if it was more reliable and I get what I paid for, Before I’ve had it delivered and had milkshakes and fries missing. This time I decided to pick up instead and I didn’t check my food and it’s happened again. Such a shame I won’t be returning now as it is a fair way for me to travel for poor service.

Food wasn’t great, took forever to arrive, and the shake for my son came without a straw, which sounds daft but with no straws in the house and him being 4 wouldn’t touch it cause he usually gets a straw Totally ruined the experience further than the food taking 1hour 35 mins to arrive incorrect Won’t be using them again

Terrible service, no telephone just a mailbox that is full , food never arrived Customer service is nonexistent Yoh burger also in Rotherham is light years better

Shocking business and customer relations! We ordered our food only to be told it was delayed which is fair enough then delayed again it's now been delayed yet again although I was told it was with the driver so that was a lie! Secondly they said it was delayed due to bad weather? Not a cloud in the sky and sunny so how does that work? I won't be ordering from here again that's for sure and will leave as many reviews as possible on various websites to warn others! Absolutely disgusting customer skills

I have just collected dinner from the halfway Sheffield branch. The burger was small the chips cold. I ordered mushroom and got 4 small pieces. The worst thing was when I opened the burger a live beetle fell out of the the foil wrapping. I will definitely not be ordering from holy cow again.

Don’t eat from here!! We collected, place was very dirty. Ordered pulled pork burger, the pulled pork was cooked in the microwave!! Chips were freezing and stale and COVERED in salt!! Got told we had a berry and rolo milkshake, when we looked it was CRUSHA milkshakes they used, chocolate and strawberry! No rolo or berry about it! Will not be wasting our money here again.

The also deliver under rebel rito I just spent £34 on a pile of crap please do not use them. Also missing half the order and told to contact ubereats to claim, just wanted the food, also two bits of chicken in chicken dish..this is probably the worst place I have ever used in 30 years…

ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY. Placed an order at 8:15 for delivery and it’s almost 10pm and the order still isn’t here despite being told TWICE by the team that the order is on its way. Rang up the first time and was told it was on its way, rang the second time to hear it’s the next one out, HOW DOES THAT WORK?! The staff answering the phones are rude, customer service is appalling. The man answering the phone said “shut up you idiot” whilst on the phone to me whether that was directed at me or one of his colleagues we’ll ever know but the manager didn’t seem to bothered about sorting it either. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again in the future will be sticking to the big chains with reliable delivery times and willingness to resolve issues. Edit - finally arrived and the food is absolute appalling. Ordered sweet potato fries received curly fries. Ordered truffle macaroni cheese with steak… received dry pasta and what looked to be like cut up burger on top. Absolute joke.

First of all got told the order would take only 10 mins because I was collecting but I waited 45 in total … I ordered x 2 Blue cheese and chutney burgers, literally a few little pieces of chutney and a generic piece of normal cheese. The Mac and cheese ‘loaded’ fries were laughable aswell. Terrible overall, a stale burger with lack of toppings, loaded fries with no load😂 and rubbish service and attitude. Never wrote a review before but this warranted it

Worst burger and chips I’ve ever had in my life especially for the price that we paid. I had chicken burger with coleslaw, chips and a cappuccino. The chicken was bland. The coleslaw was just made of onions and one big chunk of cabbage. The chips were way over cooked and were cold. My cappuccino was full of lumps I had to throw it away. Disgusting it will never return to this place.

Holy cow - is that what people say when they realise how much money they wasted? Items missing, called to ask about them, was told they had closed but driver would be contacted - never showed up and no refund. The burgers were missing half of what we’d ordered and what was on looked like it had been swept up off of the floor and only just warm, wrapped in screwed up tin foil. Really disappointing, don’t waste your money. Hope driver enjoyed our chips and dips.

Just been & ordered food from here.. specially asked for a plain kids burger however came with ketchup so took it back to be told that although I said plain I did not say no ketchup. Absolutely ridiculous! Plain should mean plain, it does everywhere else you go 🤷‍♀️ so had to pay again! Will not be returning which is a shame considering we only live just around the corner

This is the 4 time we have ordered and had a problem the orders always late ( which we don’t mind ) today we waited 2 and a half hours we ordered at 7:05 it’s now 9:40 called the restaurant to be told the delivery derivers on its way as there’s no more orders to go out! By 10:30 STILL NO FOOD!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous think he was hand making the burger from the other side of the world

Ordered through ubereats and came 20 minutes past the estimated arrival time, tried to ring them and they didn't pick up + no updates on the arrival time. Also was missing a churro and the chocolate sauce tasted strangely unsweetened like cooking chocolate. That aside, the burgers were really good, and hot and fresh. Although so many onions on my burger and quite crunchy which I've never experienced in a burger so undecided if it was good or bad. Eating the burger was a nice experience, sort of like when your date comes late but still takes you for a good ride.

Love the burgers here, they're very filling, presented well and there's plenty of choice of fillings and sauces. Recently had a milkshake here too and it was beautiful! Staff are lovely, if there's a wait on food we usually wait in the car and someone brings the food out to us. Recommend visiting if you haven't already, much more filling that a McDonalds

I would use stronger language but fear my review would be blocked. It was inedible, off-putting, Gordon Ramsey-esque inducing reaction. The food was stringy bitty and without question the worst I have ever had. I would rather have old fashioned school meal butter beans that is how bad. Unquestionnably revolting, disgusting, fit for the trash can which is where mine ended up. If I could give this place a 0 I would. Turned my stomach. I know Texans would be ashamed to have their state maligned by this. I have eaten in Texan eateries, some fast food places, and if this is their homage to Texas then it must be to the guano filled bat caves!

We ordered from here as a group of friends and whilst the beef burger was really nice, the chicken in the chicken burger was not a nice texture. It seemed processed and rubbery, not pleasant to eat.

The sad thing is when people get great service they never leave s review, only the bad ones do. They are the kind of people who would eat at a three Michelin star restaurant and complain about it being hard to book a table so...

Me and my family eat at Holy Cow almost once a week. The burgers are delicious, the fries are even better and excellent value for money! With 3 burgers and 2 fries we can feed the family for under £15

I ordered a ‘Pulled Pork Burger’ with ‘BBQ sauce’ and specifically no salad with ‘Loaded Fries’. Only to receive a bit of pulled pork with onion slapped in a bread bun, with no actual burger. And the loaded fries were literally a few microwave chips...
