Holy Cow in Hammersmith and Fulham

Best curry I’ve had in a long time! My mum ordered for us for takeout and it took 30 mins to arrive, we had the tikka masala, korma, mushroom rice, steamed rice and poppadoms. It tasted such good quality so I think they use the very best ingredients. Can’t wait to order again!

I have been ordering takeaways from Holy Cow for a few years now and am sad to read the negative reviews. I have always had excellent food from them, friendly delivery drivers, on time, and good sized helpings. They deserve better reviews. Thanks guys, you're doing a great job.

This place used to be a cut above. Terrible drop on quality since my last order. Lamb tough as boot leather. Maybe under new ownership - I don’t know but won’t be ordering from here again.

Awful takeaway, just the worst food, unrelated to any Indian dishes I've ever tasted. The meal's we ordered consisted of chunks of poorly cooked meat in pre prepared, probably out of a large plastic bucket, generic sauce.

We Had a take away from here last night and it was a great disappointment to say the least!! I had a chicken korma and the chicken was so tuff I couldn't cut it with my knife!! My partner had the lamb rogan and the lamb was dry and tuff the rice was a horrible texture and felt possibly undercooked. The meal cost over £30.00 for two meals and an anniversary treat!! (NOT) never again!!

Ordered from this restaurant from Uber Eats. The food I received from this restaurant was inedible. Onion pakora was offered as a free add on, it was super greasy & inedible. Really good quality takeaway/delivery service. The portions are large so one is enough for two. Tasty, well spiced food with a menu offering a good variety of choices.

I have ordererd takeaways twice from here in the past three weeks and have been very pleasantly susrprised by the food. Really very good. The grilled lamb kebab and the butter chicken are especially good. I've prbaby had an Indian takeway once a month for the past thirty years and this is the best I have had in London.

This place has gone so downhill. Delivery takes and age, food is cold and the staff are incredibly rude, I’ve never experienced anything like it. Their ordering system is full of errors. I called up to complain and they repeatedly hung up on me, told me I was lying or said it’s the website’s fault not theirs (ordered through their website). Even after providing evidence they were still dismissive! There are much better Indian takeaways in the area, avoid this one. If you do order here... good luck

Oh dear, the reviews here are mixed to say the least. We use this takeaway (there is no restaurant) perhaps once a month on a Friday night, but we've learnt not even to consider awaiting delivery - the wait times are always horrendous and 90 minutes not uncommon. The only thing to do is forego your early evening drink and drive round to collect it yourself (wait time then is 30 minutes from ordering). It's always busy in the kitchen, so despite the criticisms here, someone is still eating it and we've no complaints about the food itself. But the delivery service?... pah!

Have been using this restaurant very happily for over seven years with a regular family order that ALWAYS includes a mild curry (korma) for mum. Had been looking forward to tonight’s take out and preordered. When the delivery arrived, I immediately spotted an error - Bhuna in place of our usual Korma. I called up straightaway, the driver had barely left, and asked to correct this. Staff member was deeply rude and patronising, repeatedly calling me “dear” said it was my error and just too bad. Such a shame but I will never be ordering from them again. Disappointing.

Meal for one took 90 minutes (that’s not an exaggeration), and was cold when it arrived. Avoid at all cost.

Main dish inedible as full of bones. Called to complain had to speak to three different people to get a replacement dish. Replacement took more than 1 hour so all food then cold. Poor customer service. Argumentative. Cut me off. Staff being rude when they think they have put you on hold but you can actually hear staffs conversations - really unprofessional. Used to order from here a lot. Food used to be amazing. Really really has gone down hill rapidly.

We ordered a takeaway from this restaurant. We had the menu for a long time without trying it. Now it will be a regular. We ordered King Prawn Jafrani and Murg Masala with Kbuli mushroom and pilau rice. All dishes were full of flavour with a spicy but not too hot sauce. The mushrooms were delicious and full of flavour. I ordered a garlic naan which was full of lovely garlic flavour and fennel seeds on top. Generous portions. 4 free poppadoms which melted in your mouth. Had to wait a while for delivery but it was fresh and hot. Recommended.

Having had our last 4 delivery orders messed up with missing items, late delivery and little or no compensation, we will not be ordering from Holy Cow again. The food is good but issues with management and delivery override this. Would not recommend.

Ordered a fairly varied meal for four, delivered to the door. Every single dish was excellent, well-packaged, and hot on arrival. Seriously impressed; takeaways can be very second-rate sometimes, but these guys outclassed most sit-down meals I’ve had in even high-end restaurants. Highly recommended.
