For my sons wedding event we ordered food for 100 guests from tandoori corner and the food was absolutely brilliant and the price was extremely reasonable and not only that they supplied us with separate containers for every dish to keep the food warm when serving at no extra cost, excellent service provided, keep up the brilliant services you are giving to your customers.

2 days before I placed an order for 100people chicken biryani (with bone) . Biryani was delicious with a good quantity. Hats off for their service. 👍👍

Used to be nice and was good value for money. Now they are charging more money for microwaved food than an actual restaurant. £3 something for a kebab roll and £5 for 5 pieces of chicken tikka. Extortionate prices for less than average food!

They lent me a charger and even gave me some food. It was very delicious and the service was also good. I want to visit again next time I go to England.

My first time to try yesterday after my boss recommended. And I was delighted how nice it was. Had only starter bits and naan bread this time, but rolly polly - kebab in bread daugh was delicious. I will be definitely back for some curry as there were so many choices and all looks delicious. We've got complementary desserts as friendly stuff said if we are there first time, we can get 2 sweets dessert. Rice pudding was the best i ever had. I don't like too sweet things, but this pudding was perfect, just right. Ooh and their mint sauce is yummy too. Friendly staff and shop looks very clean. 100% recommended. And we will be definitely back.

Absolutely my favourite curry take-away. I live in Brighton, and every time I visit London I make sure to stop in Thornton Heath and get a few of their curries. Great selection, deep flavours, generous portions. Really nice staff too!

I placed a big order. Firstly the guy named Raffy demanded cash payment. This is the second time he has demanded got cash payment. I had to go find a cash point the first time. This time a lady in front of me paid for a small amount with her card therefore I refused. I had a big order and he spoke to his colleague in Indian who then took the tray into the back room. When I opened the containers there were only 3 small pieces of lamb in each of the 12 containers of biranni. I complained but he said it was not returnable or refundable. Beware - if you are buying big amounts make them pack it in front of you. They speak in their language and you don't know what they're saying . . . Very disappointed. The previous owners were brilliant but beware of these two jokers . . . if you look vulnerable they take advantage and try their luck demanding cash . . .

Ordered for more than 50 people recently for a birthday party. Quality and quantity both spot on. Food was very delicious especially Chicken Biryani and Lamb curry. Price wise it was so reasonable.

We arranged House warming party and generally, we used to order from East Ham but unfortunately, this time it didn't happen as he was busy with some other order and he asked me to look for some other option. I was looking around a few restaurants near me but couldn't find a better deal. And then one of my friends suggested checking with Tandoori Corner as he already tasted Methi Chicken which was superb in taste as well as in quantity. For the initial conversation, I went to the restaurant where I received a very warm welcome from Mr. Anas. He was very friendly and soft-spoken. He offered to taste all the dishes that I was having in my Menu list. Almost I tasted 6-7 dishes I was trying to be cheeky To be honest all the dish was delicious. I met with chef Mr. Faisal he assured me with the quality and quantity of the food will be up to your mark and you will never be disappointed with our service and even he agreed to adjust the taste as per our suggestions like more chilly, tender, etc... I was a bit confused but still went ahead with the catering service and I loved the way they communicated with me. One day before the event day they called me to take a count of people and to note the adjustments which I wanted to be in some specific dishes. They delivered food to my house, which was more relaxing for me. The food was nicely packed. Sorry so for the long message, Now coming to the quality of the food was superb, delicious, and fabulous. Everyone including us liked the food and my guest started taking contact from me for their future reference. Quantity wise it was more than enough we had both Lunch and Dinner. It was not so expensive as compared to other restaurants near me. Recommended dishes: Methi Chicken, palak paneer and chilly chicken

Great food, and an overwhelming selection of options to choose from. As well as a plethora of spiced options, the names are made in front of you! I had my wife’s 60th birthday and used them as a catering option. I had to ensure my Asian guests were well fed. After the function I had compliment after compliment because the food went so so well!!!!

The food is tasty, fresh and at a fair price. But do not use for outside catering; they are simply not ready and not mature enough to understand the concept of taking responsibility to ensure the food is delivered. Shame.

Visited this place today .not been for a few years..wished I hadn't....as we entered the food display was virtually empty and looked filthy...a member of staff stood behind the counter in what I describe as dirty street clothes and cap .he was fixed to his mobile phone...we wasn't acknowledged until we had turned to leave . Found this exceptionally rude ....Will NOT BE RETURNING....unacceptable avoid

Just got a korma, pilau rice and naan bread... absolutely awful chicken was pinkish and dry and the sauce was an insult to a korma. Reminds me exactly how the tinned korma taste like from supermarket and at £9:69 I should of thrown the money down the drain.. won't be seeing me again!! 😕 😤

Asked for roghni naan, was given afghani roti, and the staff was too busy talking to eachother. Not satisfied with quality, as well as the customer service. Unfortunately, I don't have the option of giving no stars, otherwise I would!

Food display is great. Looks clean. But gone are the days that made a repeat customer. We used to be regulars to this shop approx 4 years back as food was just great and zero regrets. Bought some food recently and the meat achari was just horrendous and too rubbery feel. Wouldn't go in again I suppose unless nothing is left to buy. Next door shop tastes better but has a lesser display.

A good selection of traditional curry's ready cooked in containers under glass and all priced so you can choose easily what takes your fancy, which is handy for me as I don't know a lot about curry's etc. Talking to the cook he explains that they don't artificially sweeten their dishes such as the types I'm used to from the supermarkets. So definitely not as sweet and hotter than I expected. You can ask them to put two dishes into one container, half rice half chicken Korma for example. Their Bombay potatoes are fantastic. I will say to watch your order being made and warmed as of an evening as the guys seem to be on another planet, you know the type, looking out the window while taking your order or turning away but maybe that's just me but a few times I've nearly walked out without a paid for tin of Coke. But this is my go to food place when visiting London and I've been eating from there for many years.

Absolutely disgusting food I have just ordered through uber eats I ordered chicken biryani keema naan and kheer Absolutely disguted the way I was handed the delivery when I open it up the kheer was spilt everywhere and my naan got soaked stale naan stale chicken biryani I have been trying to call them already 14x and noone is answering we work hard to get some good food at least provide fresh food disgusting good this shop should shut down they don't care about customers at all

With a variety of different curries, rice and meat to try I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who likes Indian cuisine and would love to come to this place again 💯

Just ordered hot/freshly made 2 kebab rolls and 2 chicken rolls, received Stone cold, paid extra for that. Ordered chicken korma, received chicken pieces with sweet coconut milk sauce. Not very impressed, total waste of money. No one in the house ate anything. Have to order something else.

I have been buying food from this place from the 1980's. However 5 years ago I moved to Scotland. Every time I visit Croydon I would still go to Tandoori Corner and take food back to Scotland. However on Monday 28 June, google advised the shop was open for 10am. I arrived at 10.45am to place a large order only to find the door locked. The man in the shop shouted "we are closed", he couldn't even be bothered to open the door. He shouted through the gap in the door that to come back at midday. Sorry Tandoori Corner with this rude service I will NOT be ordering from you. You just lost a larger money order! I didn't think in these hard times that any business would reject business. I hope the owner of the shop reads this review and speaks to the rude staff member. If I'm being treated like this, so are other potential customers

Me and my family have been buying food from this place for over 15 years. The food has been great, even when I left home I've never eaten a curry or kabbab roll from anywhere else. That being said, I encountered a big issue. I found metal in my food. In fact I took the peice of metal out of my mouth. I think its from those cheap scouring pads. I felt so sick the whole family had to throw out the food. Except the rice that had the metal in it. That's in my freezer. (Only because I reported the company to croydon council and they said to keep it for investigation). We reported the issue to uber eats (who we ordered for delivery from) and got a refund. Me being me, thinking that the company would like to know what I found. I called them up and told them. They was so rude, I've never been so disappointed. Here's me thinking that they would take it seriously and they was so rude. I was expecting a apology and for them to look into it. You know some reassurance that it won't happen again. So I feel like I can move pass the situation and continue feeding me and my family from the lovely food of this establishment. But oh no they wasn't having any of it. They are accusing me of lies and acting like I made it up and just want money from them. Now ask yourself this, do you want to eat from a company that doesn't take metal in their food seriously. Because I know I don't. So unfortunately I won't be feeding my family from here again. In case I wasn't clear, food great customer service bad. Risk of it happening again who knows but I felt sick just writing this.

Amazing experience, really nice food really authentic, super delicious, served very hot, fresh tandoor hot naans were out of this world so soft crispy an tasty ate with mixed veg curry, full of flavours, its my lifetime restaurant, amazing experience everytime

"If you are willing to waste your money , please order from this restaurant" I ordered for chicken dish as im allergic to red meat. But i received lamb achari instead of chicken achari. I had to bin the lamb as i dont have any other option(couldnt call the restaurant as the number was not in service). The tandoori chicken was not well cooked and smells like a raw chicken( i couldnt finish it) i end up eating just the plain naan itself. Awful food. Never use this restaurant anyone through online ordering. I had a good experience from them when I ordered in person. I expected the same quality when i did "just eat" . Unfortunately , it made me upset and wasted my money. Their contact number is not updated so will not be able to contact them regarding any issues. Totally worse dinner i have ever had in my life so far!!!!!!!

We had chicken biryani... far too spicy for everyone that ate it. Also had aloo paratha whichbwas very average... unfortunately. The spinich and potatoe pakora were nice but doubt i will buy from here again.

Food could be a bit cold sometimes. Ive eaten 3 times from them and 2 of the times the food was cold and a waste of time but the last time the food was absolutely rocking and lovely. Eat at your own risk. 😅
