Portion size is almost half of what it was a couple of years ago Tasted great bit tiny and not labelled This makes it difficult if may dishes

Great menu choices. Murg Malyalam is a must try. Will definitely be back. The service was a top notch even on a Friday night

Stumbled onto this new Holy Cow, and not knowing the chain, was hoping it was a steakhouse. Happy to see the menu - full of classic curry dishes, including all my favourites, but no specials or signature dishes. Our orders were good, arrived in good time, and the service was ok. So much better than the curry houses on Commercial Road, who are tired and in need of a refurb. Will definitely make this my local takeaway too, but the decor inside is nice and modern, and will more likely eat in often. Thanks for opening up locally.

The food is ok but the food often takes 45 min more to arrive than what they say. When you call they always say it is on its way but it can’t be. This will be our last order.

We’ve had take away from here for years. Was always great. But honestly will never order again. Still waiting for delivery over 2hours since paid for order. Ie over an hour late. Phone just goes to answerphone. Disaster.

Do not order from here. This is an appalling unprofessional organisation. Zero understanding of timekeeping. A 45 minute delivery time was actually 90 minutes - no warning, apology or compensation offered. No manager on duty. Phone operator suggested there 'may be a manager next week' There are so many amazing Indian restaurants in London - this is not one of them. Avoid at all costs

Really disappointed in this restaurant, should have known something was wrong when delivery driver asked if I had carrier bag to put the order in ,later upon inspection 1 main 1 side was missing , somosas smashed to bits as were the poppodoms two of the mains were partially opened which had spread to all other items very unprofessional. When contacted the restaurant they said we will deliver missing items in 20 mins , after 1 hour nothing turned up they offered credit on next order, when this option was refused as 1 person had no meal , was then told can you phone back in 1 and a half hours . Plus this restaurant is not cheap so you would expect a higher lever of customer service which was nil , they can keep the cost of missing items shame on you.

It was worth waiting, an excellent meal. Perfect taste for Masala. One of the best curries, I ever had.

Really appalling service. The food was ordered at 7pm and di not arrive for over three hours. When it did arrive food was cold and missing a side. I have contacted the restaurant but not received a response so thought i'd warn everyone here to stay away from them.

Whenever we stay with family in London, we always have a takeaway from Holy Cow. We ordered the food well in advance, it arrived on time, well packaged and hot. All of the food was extremely tasty and enjoyed by all. Not cheap by our local Birmingham standards but great for London.

We just ordered from Holy Cow for the first time and were very pleasantly surprised! The quality of the food (king prawn biryani, a couple of vegetable dishes, vegetable samosas) was quite good: balanced spices, not too oily, the samosas were plump and delicious and almost dry-fried, the quality of the prawns in the biryani was very good. The delivery arrived promptly and everything was still very hot. We will be ordering from them again.

We’ve been wanting to try Holy Cow for sometime but before today there was always too long waiting time. Today (a Tuesday) the person on the telephone was pleasant and efficient and we were told that food would be delivered in 40 minutes, which it was! We ordered prawn bhuna, prawn saag, bhindi bhaji, one plain rice and one plain naan. The curry was delicious fragrant and aromatic! The naan bread was okay, the plain rice was a bit oily, but these were forgotten once we were stuck into the curries! Thoroughly satisfactory! We’ll order again. We’d recommend ordering well ahead of when you want to eat.

With heavy marketing in my area, I thought I would give it a go. The takeaway menus are well-designed and written (with allergens clearly labelled for each item) and printed beautifully so I had great hopes. The food took just under an hour to come but they mentioned that when I ordered so I didn’t mind. Unfortunately, the food itself was really not good. The free poppadom and mango chutney was the best part of the meal (!). The bread (Tandoori roti) was completely cold and tough. Even when I reheated it, it didn’t get soft which makes me wonder just when it was made. The curry itself was very, very bland. The way it was air sealed with cellophane (like a ready meal) also makes me wonder (especially after the experience with the bread) if it was actually made fresh. One to cross off the list.

I've used Holy Cow Kilburn for some years and it's usually excellent. Tend to go for chicken or prawn plus vegetable- prawn bhuna, palak and various daals are reliably good. Poor experience with naan which was cold and hard due to delay at peak time. Seem friendly enough over the phone- better than online.

Love this food - and there is something for everyone in the family including those who don't usually like Indian food, plus veggie and vegans!

I placed an order at HC Kilburn last night at about 10pm. It was late but I was SO hungry and really craving some Indian. I waited for approximately 30 minutes and then it arrived. I have no complaints about the temperature, the presentation, the flavour or the amount that I was given. Though I must admit the amount of onion salad they sell for £1.55 is really stingy, but I can look past that. The food was piping hot and while everything else - peshwari naan, pilau rice and onion salad lovely - the murgh bhuna was tough! I mean like tough as leather that had sat in the rain and then has been allowed to dry out tough. That chicken was chewy tough. Now I'm not in my dotage, actually just thinking about it maybe if I had dentures I would have been better off. I called to let them know and I ended the call laughing, not because they were rude but because I was stumped! I couldn’t for the life of me understand how they’d managed it. Now they use the breast, and I have to admit that I'm not a fan, because it's not as tender the leg or thigh, but that’s my personal preference. I've had food from there before and it was good. But I do think if you're going to use breast meat and you don’t know how to cook it then you shouldn’t use it. So my advice is don’t order from Holy Cow Kilburn late at night, you'll regret it if you do. Why? Because the chicken will have been sitting there and getting stringy, leathery and fibrous, and you won’t be able to chew it.

25 a 5 libras.

We have been ordering there for a few years now, and although the food is delicious, the delivery time has deteriorated and is now up to 1h30/45, which is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous when you live not even 2km away from them. A pity... they should really work on this as they will start losing a lot of customers because of this....

We ordered a large selection of food for four of us. As many people seem to have problems with delivery, we ordered it well in advance with a requested delivery time, which Holy Cow achieved.

¡Terrible! Actualmente estamos esperando la entrega y he estado esperando 2 horas! ! Evitar a toda costa! ! ! !

Unquestionably THE best Indian takeaway in London. Fresh home cooked food, good portions, and the staff and process are excellent and straightforward. Ignore the comment on here about it being late and cold, we must have ordered about 100 times in 4 years and it's never taken longer than they've said!!

Delivery took over one an a half hours, curry was cold when it arrived and they did not pack my water I paid for, or sauces for the pomodoms. All round unpleasant experience and I would definitely not use this curry house in the future.

I have been ordering from Holy Cow for a few years now and have never been disappointed. The quality of the food has always been consistently excellent. The Murgh Masala is fantastic, a very creamy sauce with subtle spicing and just the right amount of heat, the chilli lamb is fiery but with plenty of flavour, the popadoms are light and not greasy, the kabuli mushroom has a bit of a kick and great flavour. It is a bit more expensive that most Indian takeaways but it is worth spending a couple of quid more for this level of quality.

It was late 10pm and my family didn't cook that day because we were busy, we wanted to get a take away and we happened to drive past wembley area so we thought Gana why not! We ordered 3 kothu rotti!! And Omg it was the worse kothu I have eaten in my whole life, not exaggerating at all it was like they rushed and just damped the curry in the rotti and it was soggy like hell no favour and the curry was too sour ! All 3 of us didn't eat that food and we were starving we ended up just having a cup of tea and biscuits that night and threw all that food in the bin!! It was absoutley disappointing wasted our money and engery never again! Gana you need to find out what is happening in your kitchen and find out what the chef is actually doing down there! Gana wembley you guys need to sort this out doesn't happen in the future.

I was there a couple of days ago a waiter asked me to sit in the corner and did not come back for 7 min to take my order, called another waiter he apologised and took the order he was polite too. The sea food kothu was full of cabbage and leek I could hardly taste rotti. I did not order vegetable kothu. Very disappointed
