Nice hotel. Room has everything you want. Food very nice and staff are good

Staff at the bar and restaurant not up to much. At breakfast was treated really poorly. No instructions given, told off for using the wrong coffee machine, no milk, no spoon, showed us to our table, complaining that someone else had already said they were room 24, as if that’s my fault, and how they were short staffed, again, not my problem, didn’t even wipe the table properly leaving us to do so, ordered breakfast, it didn’t turn up, and after 30 minutes, when we were the only ones left there, I asked where was it, and then shortly after the wrong order turned up, but I ate it anyway and yes, it was cold! So not great really. Hotel itself really nice and the woman at reception was really friendly as well!

Nice pub but with the hotel being on site the workmen rather than walk a short distance they used the disabled bays

Good food and service Nice location

Had a lovely one night stay here last week. Nice location in the park, plenty of parking, clean warm and comfortable room of good size, very big comfy bed, lovely to have a bath too! Very quiet except other doors closing. Had great breakfast choice in the pub in the morning and was very handy for where we needed to be, plus not too expensive. Would happily stay again! Thank you.

Had Sunday lunch, the food was good, the service was very much self service

Ok for a drink with great surroundings just visited today sunday 3 April at 3-15 no tables cleaned empty glasses bits of food on most tables. Sat down at a dirty table no one attempted to come and clean the table totally disgusting service. Update called in today ordered half of cider £ 2-70 unfortunately they are taking the piss

Fantastic hotel with great rooms and lovely staff

Went for the £20 mains and a drink for 2 deal, a great offer. Service was excellent, food great value and tasty. A nice pub with lots of great features from its previous life.

The establishment is a delightful location to enjoy a meal and beverages after a leisurely stroll through Thornes Park. The service provided was exceptional, and the quality of the food was outstanding. The only minor inconvenience encountered was the lack of functional outdoor heaters, which resulted in a somewhat chilly dining experience. Consequently, I am compelled to deduct one star from my overall rating due to this specific issue.

I attended for a wedding service, great location, plenty of parking, private marquee set up at the back, very well decorated, quick and friendly service from bar and catering staff.

Lovely hotel. Rooms clean and comfortable. We are currently staying here as going to a wedding which is being held here. Had a lovely meal served by a very curtious waiter called William (Will). Who couldn't have done more for us.

Went for food and drinks outside in the beer garden. Prices for drinks are expensive for a green king I would say however the food was also not the cheapest but you certainly got a good meal for you money. Service could of been better for mucky plates on table , ages for drinks ordered on the app and slow bar service but except from that I enjoyed my visit and would certainly come again!

Had my Dad's Surprise Birthday Gathering on 25th August , The staff were brilliant from start to finish, Could not have been more helpful The food was excellent, the room ideal , Thank you to all the Staff for making it a Lovely Evening.

Stay here on a regular basis. Rooms are comfy and clean. Harish in the restaurant is awesome. Will be back many more times.

Always a great place to stay - business

Had a lovely stay, luckily enough there wasn't an event on in the marquee which is situated literally in front on bedroom windows so might be worth checking if you plan on Restful stay like us. The room was good size, bed really good size . Overall very clean. Slight dripping-leak from extractor fan in bathroom which I let staff know on leaving. Reception staff friendly as were cleaners. Restaurant staff a little more " stressed?" Could have been more Friendly. Breakfast also slightly disappointing good value but I rarther have paid more fir better quality ingredients especially the meat products.

I have mobility problems, and these lovely folk always make sure im able to get in/out easily from where seated and are very patient waiting for me to follow them when being guided to our table.

Used restaurant only, very pleased with food and service.

Family meal with cousins, aunts and uncles from various locations around the country. Very busy but service was quick. Food was more than adequate. Great location in the midst of Tharnes Park.

Wonderful staff and very attentive services. Stayed a few night with family for a family event (funeral). Had a meeting with the general manager (a lady) in the restaurant a few weeks ago and she had explained all the options of how to co-ordinate the funeral guests/meals/undertaker...etc in detail. During the time we stayed there, there was a little incident with my personal belonging got damaged due to silly reason and the 3 receptionists i met all being very kind and helpful, passing my message to each other from shift to shift and make known to the general managers. I can see excellent communication within the hotel among different departments. The general manager (a guy) also took extra miles to help out. Though the outcome wasnt 100% satisfied and it wasn't any of the staff's fault. Everyone was being very apologetic and empathetic. I can see the lady GM was very stressed out during the time and she has been constantly busy over the days we were there but she still being very polite and involved in all possible means to settle the matter. Only if there is 10stars options for this review, I will have no hesitation to click it !! We had a very organised and wonderful time during our stay. Meal service was great ! All hot food arrived at the same time for everyone (about 25 members). I can't thank all the team member in Holemfield Arms enough for their kindness and made our stay (for the funeral) without a single disappointment. Much appreciated with all the helps ! Thank you so much !

Plenty of parking, clean and warm room, fast free WiFi. Had a nice dinner at the pub.
