Excellent breakfast. Top class staff too.

The staff are spot on especially Liz at breakfast who looks after everyone

Had a Breakfast here, almost the worst i've had all dry flavourless and at £16.00 for couple of Sausages and Eggs...Best avoided

I stayed here recently and didn’t have a problem. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. I was really happy with the choice of food at breakfast, the breakfasts at holiday inn’s can be hit and miss but this one is a hit. I didn’t have an evening meal here so I can’t comment on that. One thing I didn’t like is that they only have two EV chargers (one of which is in a disabled space). When I arrived there was a non-EV van parked in the EV space meaning I had to park in the disabled space, I wasn’t happy about this but I needed a charge. Very poor planning of EV spaces here. For those with EV’s the charger is a pod point charger.

Rooms tired and in need of renovating

The food was very poor, the room was freezing cold.

Cheap, but with low price comes low quality. The room looked very tired and definitely in need of a renovation. When checking in, I was asked if I'd like to register for a benefits scheme and after specifically saying no, I was still registered resulting in spam emails.

Great staff and on the whole the room too. The pillows were not good, and all felt the same. Restaurant was good and their staff equally great.

The room was ok and just need to upgrade several things in the shower about the sink cleanliness on the top surface .Thank you.

Great place the food and rooms are good you will pay a bit more but I think it's worth it of the M4 at the Coldra ie Celtic manor resort as you come of head towards Newport the this hotel is immediately on your left or if you want the celtic.manor it's just past holiday inn turning and that on your right. Well worth a visit for sure

A Holiday Inn with a pool?! Rooms were comfortable and had a better selection of channels than many hotels I’ve been to. Convenient for the motorway but not for the city - really need a taxi.

Idea place to stay while visiting relatives in the area.The room met the requirements i ask for when I book the room.Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and good atmosphere.

Loved our stay here. Staff were super friendly. Free parking and breakfast was included in our stay. Place has swimming pool too.

Nice place to work and have meetings only complaint ordered nachos for lunch and added pulled pork ( like a table spoon) menu says nachos 7.99 pulled pork 9.99 didn't expect the 9.99 was only for the table spoon of pulled pork ... never again £18 on nachos ...

Visit was for the Sunday roast, which is delicious. The service was excellent; everyone was on their game. Food was really good, choice of roasts, plenty of vegetables, special mention to the roasties and gravy. Will definitely be back.

Had Sunday lunch today with a fellow colleague. A good selection of meat, I had roast lamb with fresh (not frozen) vegetables. The meal was great value for money compared to prices being offered locally. It was that good. I re booked for next Sunday. Oh, and the chief came up to ask if everything was ok with the meal. I had great pleasure in completing him on a lovely meal. The dining room was decorated to a high standard, and the lounge bar had most tables had charging points for mobile phone & computer laptops. I was very impressed with the hotel. 10/10

Reasonable, the re vamped bar restaurant area is nice. Could do with better vegan options.

Just off the M4, this is a great place to meet business colleagues or staff for a coffee. Plenty of seating, parking is plentiful and no problems getting served.

Location is completely dependent on where you want to be. The conference centre is just across the road more or less.. So far so good, 4 nights to go and initial findings are really good!
