I'm writing this review to express my gratitude to the wonderful team here. I left an item in the room and they went above and beyond to communicate with me on how we could get it back to me. The room and breakfast were more than adequate, as we were only staying due to a late flight - but the service was exemplary and the team were so friendly and professional. Thank you so much - we will definitely stay again the next time we fly out of manchester!

Perfectly located for someone driving the day before

Rooms could do with updating, but Chelsea and the team are amazing and should be paid more for their absolute profession and willingness to make sure I had a comfortable stay

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were very good and welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere from the moment I arrived. My room was immaculate, modern, and very comfortable – exactly what you’d hope for after a long day. The food was decent, with generous portion sizes and reasonable prices. The location is also convenient, with ample parking available which made things even easier. A particularly nice surprise was discovering that, despite leaving very early around 5am, the hotel provides pastries and coffee from the early hours. It’s thoughtful touches like this that really stand out. All in all, a very good experience – I would definitely stay again.

Great hotel with great coffee and a grab and go breakfast items in the lobby early in the morning. It was far enough from the airport, with a lot of construction in the way, that we took an Uber to the airport. We also confused this hotel with a Holiday Inn adjacent to the airport—be sure you know which one you are booking. I had a great vegetarian dinner (tuna, potato, and salad) at a very reasonable price. My morning coffee in the lobby was the best coffee I had after three weeks in the UK. I recommend this hotel!

Nice room, grab go breakfast was good

Location for airport good but for anywhere else you have to take two forms of transport nothing near the hotel. Missed breakfast (9.45) as it finished at 9.30 wouldn’t even give us toast to our room as everything was away… paid for 3 people got a sofa bed as a bed!!! Very disappointing stay over. Good in restaurant not great very limited menu.. had to asked for mil and teas bags for room.. no shower gel either…

Stayed here ahead of an early morning flight, we walked here from the train station which took just under an hour. Grab and go breakfast available from 3am which was perfect for our early start, staff very helpful and friendly and booked us a taxi which cost £13 to get to the airport in the morning. Rooms comfortable and spacious, large shower cubicle with wash items available and the offer of complimentary items you may have forgotten to bring like toothbrushes etc

A perfect stopover before an early morning flight. My room was spotless and comfortable. The staff on the front desk were very friendly, and I couldn't believe that when I checked out at 4 am, I was offered breakfast to takeaway. I will definitely stay here again when flying out of Manchester Airport. The only negative for me was the £13 charge to park overnight.

Good location, very friendly and attentive staff, the Grab 2 Go bags for early breakfast was a great addition, we had a big wet patch on the floor by the bed unknown why, and a big wet patch on our duvet at the bottom, we thought maybe the cleaners had placed it on the floor's wet patch. We dried it with a hair drier, not what you want to do after travelling at 21:00 at night. Over all stay was comfortable enough and cheap, we would probably stay again.

Great stay whilst visiting Manchester and surrounding area.

This hotel is not at Manchester Airport! It’s close, but if you’re not in a car there’s a £15 taxi fare each way to factor into your budget. I wish I had realised this when booking. My booking stated the address as “Manchester AirPort”. It was, admittedly, cheaper than some, but not when the taxi fare is added.

People only really book this by accident when they meant the other one nearer the airport. Location is pants, taxi is like £8 plus airport drop off fee. Seeing as though Manchester Airport actually OWN the building but lease it out, I'm so surprised they do not offer a shuttle of some kind.

Lovely helpful staff. Basic but adequate and clean. Evening meal was ok and plentiful. I had a very early flight and the buffet breakfast bar was great. Close enough to terminals to be worth staying. Would use again.

Perfectly situated for a quick getaway

The only thing I could say which is wrong about this hotel is the food. We had to go across to premier inn for a good quality evening meal

Basic budget Hotel. Very handy for the Airport, just a couple of minutes away. And breakfast is thrown in. What is not to like.

Stayed night before a flight. Hadcthe meal deal, which j thought was excellent value. Room clean and bed comfortable, bathroom good. Excellent price, and there was a £5 shuttle to the airport.

Very much an airport hotel, room was adequate for one night. First room was freezing and a bit grubby, was given another which was better. Staff were great. All the hotels next to Manchester Airport seem to have poor reviews, this was probably the best. Easy access to airport, only other niggle was being charged £13 to park in hotel car park for the night, what a rip off but apparently it's because the airport own the land not the hotel!

I booked this hotel by mistake, thinking it was the Manchester Airport one. Just a heads-up: this hotel does not have a shuttle to the airport, and there’s no public transport early in the morning. A taxi to the airport (only a 5-minute drive) costs at least £16, so keep that in mind. The room was clean, and the mattress was comfortable—you can choose between firm or soft. The hotel is quiet, which was nice. One downside: there were no plugs near the bed.

Handy hotel for the airport. Stay was spoiled by an extremely cold room and the room heater couldn’t compete with the draft that was coming through the window. Lady on reception was very helpful but aside from giving me a fan heater, the problem will remain for the next couple who stay.

Massive carpark,but you do have to pay to park Quick friendly check in all information given. Two lifts to all floors Room good size as was the shower room. Clean and tidy as expected Breakfast included but not that nice!! Sausage's way over cooked, bacon cold , scrambled eggs very watery Coffee was disgusting! But would stay again! Just not have the breakfast! Location close to the Airport but nothing else close by. One little Thing I did like was the running routes suggestions in the lifts wish more hotels did this!

Very cold rooms, blocked shower. Poor room layout and put in single beds instead of double. Tv remote didn't work and windows damaged. Genuinely poor stay, excuses from management and lack of apologies or ownership from condition of room

It's OK. Really put off by the constantly sniffing guy (staff) with the nose ring serving drinks.

Stayed one night. Room was clean and bedding smelt so clean and fresh that it helped me get a good night sleep before getting up at 3.30am.

Booked direct with IHG on the phone as I wanted to guarantee interconnecting rooms for our family for a night before at 5am flight. On arrival told the hotel has no interconnecting room!?! Furthermore I was not told when booking the hotel has no AC of any kind. Rooms were very warm and as expected with the window open it was very noisy. Manager / reception were very apologetic and it was not their fault. That said rooms were clean, beds were soft and comfortable and the grab and go breakfast offering was excellent at 3.30am. Location was less than 5mins drive to T1 meet and greet parking, but due to the lack of interconnecting rooms and AC I will look elsewhere when flying from Manchester again.

It is declared as an "Airport Hotel", but you have to walk 45 minutes from the airport, so this is a bit misleading. No shuttle available. Room was ok, but nothing special, electric kettle and hair dryer available. Couldn't sleep as a green emergency exit lamp on the ceiling in the room lights all the time. Breakfast really disappointing, no rolls, no haselnut spread (empty), not even cheese or cold cuts. Scrambled egg ok, but no salt and pepper available, sausage also not tasty, ham was fine, bread ok. Coffee was bad too (Milk coffee, as well as Americano), so I had breakfast in a different hotel on the opposite side. (much better) On the site no infrastructure like shops, just a hotel and a parking area near the road, bus station 8 minutes walk. If you just need a room for one night the hotel might be ok, but I would not recommend it.

Excellent stay here. Check in was a breeze and we received a very friendly and informative welcome from Steven. Rooms were quiet and clean with everything you need. Hotel is a short walk along a footpath to The Romper pub. We would happily use again.

Made life easier to stay here for early flight plus car parked

This hotel doesn't have A/C (air conditioning). This is really a problem in summer, the room (on the 3rd floor) was really too hot to sleep in, we slept badly. A sign in the room says "if you're too hot, open a window" but the windows can only be opened by 5 cm, that's very little air coming in (and a lot of noise from the traffic -- and light, unless you have very good eye masks). Also the bathroom is badly designed: taking a shower sent water everywhere, flowing unexpectedly from a corner of the shower area, behind the toilets, and then towards the door, creating a puddle. No power plugs near the bed, only on the desk. Finally, there's no shuttle to the airport, you have to take a taxi. Go to the neighbouring Premier Inn instead, it has A/C, proper bathrooms, and a shuttle. It also has a more modern feeling, compared to the Holiday Inn Express which seems dated.

Very welcoming, the food was great. The beer was amazing

Lovely room, staff were amazing and good breakfast. However the distance to the airport was a big problem. The shuttle bus the web site promised didn't exist and we were on £30 of taxis. You're better off getting a hotel in town at a cheaper price and getting the train or tram to the airport.

Convenient for the airport. Staff were nice and friendly at all times. Early morning continental breakfast was left out for the early departures, so I grabbed an orange juice and a nice pastry at 3am. Price was reasonable, too ! Thank you for a pleasant stay !

spent 3 days here for anniversary break room clean and bed really comfy, breakfast really good ,nice selection. can't fault the staff couldn't do enough nothing was too much trouble would definitely recommend for either stop over or as we did few days close to civic centre Altrincham Town centre, even got to see the wild rabbits they have

Such a shame there isn't transport from the terminals to and from the hotel.

Cheaper end of the Manc Airport hotels. It does not have a shuttle bus to take you to the terminals so factor a taxi cost on top of the room rate when pricing up options.

Hard to beat for a pre-flight stay. Probably the best breakfast on the entire trip!

The food was great Room was nice and clean but the night was rough to warm in the room had the window open and fan on max was way to warm but either than that very clean and nice

More than just an amazing property, the staff were Very Professional, Very Helpful and Courteous especially in the midst of an extremely busy time for them, thanks to the Manchester airport power failure episode.

The staff was really nice. Both at the reception and the breakfast area hence giving a 5 star rating for the service. Lower overall rating as the hallways smell of Kerosine and the flush was not working. The reason that upset me the most is they do not have a place to charge phones. We were visiting from a different country and our phone adapters would not work and we were forced to buy an adapter. Unacceptable for a international airport hotel. No easy way to commute to the airport. What money you save here will eventually be spent in a taxi ride.

Had a room booked and an hour before coming to the hotel they canceled the reservation without letting us know. Had to find another hotel last minute and ended up paying triple the price. The service is horrible and I will never stay here again and I am a loyal IHG member so this service is shocking. Could not rate this hotel lower even if I tried.

Stayed for 2 nights 13/4/24 taking part in Marathon. Lovely place, spotless, spacious twin room, very quiet, nice breakfast buffet with fresh and hot meal, amazing cheerful staff! Tough a little far away from the airport consider walking.

Noisy foreigners in the corridors at 2am peed me right off. Otherwise lovely hotel and convenient.

We arrived Thursday September 7th .What can I say absolutely amazing best hotel 🏩 I've stayed .From our checking in to checking out fantastic very caring staff polite friendly helpful.Checked into the room spotless fresh the detail was lovely.Slept so well .Went down for our tea and a few drinks once again service 100percent food was piping hot and delicious. The barman had alot of people to serve but got through the queue so quickly and so happy and friendly. THE BREAKFAST the next day was better then a queen would expect it went on forever full of choice pipping hot it was out of this world .I an the first to complain if standards aren't right but asked could I see the manager to say how fantastic our stay was.I took names of the staff but unfortunately can't find it.I 100percent recommended this top quality hotel fit for a king and queen what a credit this hotel and all staff to this company. Simply the very very best so good my family are staying there in January and some of my friends Nov. You are amazing fantastic thankyou so very muchxxx

Ideal location for an overnight stay for an early flight from Manchester Airport. Room good size clean and comfy beds. We had some food on the evening which was tasty. Also reasonably priced in comparison to some of the other airport hotels. Parking overnight was an extra £12 but breakfast was included and even though we had a very early start there was still some food and drinks laid out for you to help yourself which was a nice touch.

Decent room but the car parking was an additional cost. Breakfast time was very busy with a big queue so not exactly relaxing.
