This lovely place never disappoints! It’s wise to book as it gets really busy and it’s no wonder! The food is always cooked fresh to order using top quality local ingredients (the sausages are AMAZING!). The staff are very friendly and helpful and I have to give a shout out to Craig! This guy is a legend! Always happy and smiling, great sense of humour and so quick-witted, he always makes me laugh! I’m so glad we live so close to this little gem.

Food was delicious! The ambience was warm and welcoming! Food tasty and was delivered fresh and promptly. We had the fish platter and the ham and egg bagel. Both delicious, the ham was so tasty and the runny egg smothered the bagel!! Highly recommended! My 7th visit!

Absolutely wonderful Afternoon Tea today for 10 of us ladies. The food was fresh, delicious and and oooooh so tasty. All the staff were fantastic and worked so hard to make us feel welcome and cared for, always topping up our drinks and clearing away once we'd finished a course. Cannot recommend it enough and how lovely to see an independent, small company thriving. Highly recommended! Thanks you to all the staff who made it such a wonderful afternoon.

So I decided to have the full breakfast, what a mess the plate was.I had to put my egg on the toast plate so I could mop up the overflow on the plate. Everything on the plate was covered in beans and juce from the mushrooms. The toast was a very cheap slice of white bread. Over all good flavours but let down by poor presentation and cheap bread☹️……Staff were faultless and I will go again,just not for a breakfast next time😊Tip…..perhaps put beans in a little dish and give mushrooms a good shake before they go on the plate🤔

The table was grubby and we had to ask for it to be cleaned and my husband's coffee cup had dried coffee stains on the outside but the food was good.

Busy little tea room with freshly cooked food served with a smile. Staff are attentive and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I take my elderly father regularly for a coffee and apple crumble and custard. I usually have lunch and there is plenty to choose from. Light bites to full meals. The quaint surroundings add to the charm. It is attached to the antique shop in the church and a little browse often results in a purchase. Easily accessible from the M65 and M66 in the Rossendale Valley. Makes a pleasant drive over the Grane Road. Ticks all the boxes for what you expect of a tea room.

Stopped in for an impromptu lunch on Saturday (peak time). The organisation really stood out, being added to a waiting list and able to wonder around the antique shop, then notified with a buzzer when your table is ready- really a lovely touch. Once sat (not long to wait at all), we were seen to straight away. Genuinely the most attentive, swift service I’ve experienced in a long time. I know it’s hard sometimes, especially when a place is as busy* as it was. Everyone around us were fully looked after at all times. *I know the word busy could deter some people, but the team regulated the atmosphere so well; music not too loud, nobody rushing around; so it all felt relaxed and seamless. The food came in perfect timing, lovely portions, and tasted amazing! Plenty of vegan/veggie options which really suited me. Flavourful, and not breaking the bank. Thank you to the chefs! It was a truly wonderful lunch experience out. Me and my parents really appreciated the friendliness of all the servers, who had us chuckling throughout (the gentleman in particular- who is a wonderful example of what hospitality is all about). If it’s not already obvious, we will ABSOLUTELY be back… and looking forward to it!!!

It's ok to have a busy restaurant but to pass that busy-ness on to the customer is unacceptable. At booking, you are given a "Slot" that includes a leaving time. Not good. On arrival, you are hovered over by the waiter asking if you'd like a drink, or order. Not good. As soon as you order, the meal arrives. Stil not good. The balance of the meal is unexpectedly Carb Heavy. We felt rushed to the point where questions would be pointless. So. Unsatisfying. This was a good restaurant. I'm sure that the changes have been forced on the management by prevailing economic catastrophes and it won't be their fault. But this was disappointing.

Had the pineapple upside down cake for desert not had this for many years and it made me cry! Stupid I know but since my stroke things come out of the blue and affect me! will be back next week.
