Hogarths in Wakefield

Cheap and cheerful pub with plenty of drinks available and lots of TV's to watch the sport also do a few special events and quiz nights etc. No grub though if u want that go to wetherspoons up the road

Met up with some friends for a little get together,easy to get served and quiet enough to be able to talk to each other,clean and tidy bar area.

Cheap as chips, great way to spend a Sunday afternoon or evening watching sport on one of the many televisions around the bar. Friendly, quick service even when busy. Try to avoid any of the single middle aged alcoholic men sitting on their own who will desperately engage you in repetitive conversations that will leave you thinking about running off into the traffic outside.

This was a fantastic bar for drinking, with a fancy and compact design! The seating is laid out in different compartments, counter is well-presented and glass has a classy style. Me and my friend enjoyed 2 for 1 cocktails, sitting on the leather at a clean table!

Noticing our repeated orders, the server went above and beyond by bringing more of our preferred drink in advance. Cleanliness was a priority at Hogarths, with both the toilets and the rest of the pub maintained in impeccable condition. This attention to cleanliness added to the overall positive atmosphere of the pub. In conclusion, Hogarths is a gem, offering a unique and enjoyable pub experience. Really nice place for a few drinks in Wakefield

A nice drink at a reasonable price. Glasses are always clean and staff are usually cheerful and welcoming.

I like Hogarths, it's a great place to meet up with people and chat. I've only given it four because the regular clientele are often a bit antisocial.

Hogarths is a great, friendly place for a drink with friends.

A very, very competitively priced ale house. Don't know if it does food. Would visit again as prices are pretty unbeatable and decent choice of beers.

Pop in every now and again to watch sport. Service always good, prices very reasonable and the sound is usually up for the sport which is great.

1st time there, good atmosphere, very good pint, not too crowded, didn't need to wait to be served. We will be back.

Usually a great place but went recently and the male bartender that served us was extremely rude and individually picked on us, out lesbian friend got picked on mainly, and was very rude to them, the young female also was picked on, and he was especially rude to her, this got reported to higher up and nothing was done about the situation

Visited Hogarth's for the first time last Saturday. The pub was busy and with a friendly atmosphere and clientele. Similar in many ways to Wetherspoons. Would have given 4 stars but there was no draught beer on the day we visited. Had to settle for Moretti.

Nice, inexpensive and popular pub, though the selection and quality of the real ales on offer seems to be slipping, on recent visits.

In a word poor, ladies toilet was unacceptable, beer garden filthy, spirits not presented as a full measure, no fruit or ice offered, will not be going back.

Cheap and right by train station.

Very quiet, very clean, and pretty cheap beer wise. Can't speak for the spirits I don't drink them out only beer or lager, well 90% of the time. If beer keeps going up to 4 or 5 £+ I won't be drinking much of that either. But overall decent pub ,decent beer.

Bar staff certainly need some social skills! Prices reasonable, enough said!

Welcome back Hogarths Wakefield Karla and her team going the extra mile! With a warm welcome and extensive range of beers and Cocktails on offer what's not too like with plenty of covid sanitation stations on hand and in house weekend entertainment ..even the wonky Mr Bean DJ was a refreshing change from the norm well worth a visit...
