The cake was ok a bit dry the beef sandwich was more dry than I can imagine the buns weren’t even buttered ridiculous pricing could have went to the co op and had a nicer sandwich

Went this morning for lads breakfast for builders. Stood in shop no one to assist ended leaving. There is one straight done the main road Caldwell lane much better service

Recently went back for a Sundays lunch and noticed the portion size was smaller than previously. Prices have also changed and have went up for more or less all food on the board which is a little disappointing as you could see the old prices through the stickers on the menu board.

Went to the Ashington one today, ordered bacon and sausage sandwiches. Pretty bad to be fair, bacon looked OK, be lucky if it was warm, sausages on the other hand had been absolutely cremated and mostly got given to the dogs. Shame as they looked like decent sausages If they hadn't been cooked on the sun's surface.

Staff at Monkseaton are really friendly aways smiling. The Sunday lunch is tasty and portions good.
