Fantastic food, good-sized portions. Very friendly staff with plenty of options. Nice coffee....

Had a cheese omelette with chips, salad and a cappuccino yesterday. It was all delicious. Super fast service and the best omelette I think I've ever had! Highly recommended! I will definitely be back!

Great choice of Breakfasts, Dinners and snacks, with top quality coffee & PG tips tea, I dine every day, as I enjoy the friendly service and food cooked to perfection. There are now new tables and chairs, giving a fresh look.

Two cases of sickness after eating here.. I don't think it's a coincidence... It runs like a cheap greasy spoon cafe but the prices are not so cheap.

Worse place ever very rude staff no respect in the way they speak to there customers! Avoid this place ! I wonder why I always see this cafe empty and no one ever in there ! 0 stars !

I went here for a coffee. It was pretty busy. Sat there for 5 minutes being ignored. 3 men came in and were served within 2 minutes. I spotted Wetherspoons opposite so left cafe and went there instead.

Good tasting food with a friendly staff. Portions could be a bit bigger for the cost but was very tasty. The snickers milkshake was excellent

Seems like new management, different kitchen staff and not as friendly or helpful as used to be. Milkshakes changed but doubled in price, not a problem but no where near as nice as used to be. waitress lovely but new guy is rude, ppl continuously leaning over us while we ate to get to fridge, very rude

Food was awful, cold, staff were rude, complaining did no good still got charged for cold food, been going years will not be going again and certainly won't recommend to anyone, they don't deserve business with their bad customer service

We eat here quite frequently and always have a great meal. Nothing is too much trouble, even altering the dish from how it is on the menu. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Extremely highly recommended.

Visited here a few times recently and would say not been disappointed at all. Food hot and tasty when it arrives, staff pleasant, friendly and helpful. Always busy when we have visited, so can't must be doing it right. Well done.

A good valued breakfast that was hot and freshly prepared. A good cup of tea and hot toast made it a great start to the day.

We have been going to this cafe for 23 years. Its changed hands a few times I think, but service and food have always been good. But this visit will be our last. We came in and sat down, and the young waitress saw us sit down. Sat and waited for our order to be taken. Waitress was more interested in leaning over the counter. Then a group of people came in and sat behind us. A waiter rushed over to serve them. He literally could not get to them quick enough. We pointed out that we were in fact first, and had been waiting a little while. The group that came in began tutting as we were interupting their order. So we got up to leave. The waiter did try to stop us but it was too late by then. So, what can we learn from this? 1. Make sure you know your who is coming in and out. Its not hard. The cafe isn't very big. 2. To the waitress who firstly ignored us the stood and gawped as we were leaving: You could have easily stopped this from happening if you paid attention to your customers. You were not busy. I don't think a customer facing career is in your future.

We popped in for some lunch and had lovely generous portions of omelette, chips and salad, and also baked potatoes, cheese and beans. It was served piping hot. Three big meals and two drinks (plus top water) all for £18. All served by a lovely waitress. Now my favourite local cafe.

Really nice rolls and sandwiches here, stopped by for a coffee and a sandwich, clean and fresh shop front. Staff opened front doors so disabled customers found it easier to enter the store, very good service and harkens back to an age when service and good food were easier to find, but not easy to find nowadays.. Way better than these slop shops like Costa, cafe Nero etc!

Cheap, good food and quick service - you get a lot of food for your money and the omelettes are lovely. Right in the middle of the town so a perfect lunch spot :)

It's more my mums place to go & eat when she in town shopping. She's been coming here for years. They seem to look after their regulars. Food good, place clean, staff nice
