Didn’t order prawn crackers as your listing states orders under £25 get prawn crackers and orders over get mini spring rolls. Disappointed family that they didn’t have prawn crackers and ended up with double portion of mini spring rolls that had to throw away

Just a little underwhelming. Received free spring rolls instead of prawn crackers which it said we would get and so hadn’t ordered. Doesn’t taste super fresh. The portions are quite big though, so perhaps we ordered the wrong things..

I love Ho Wah! My family has ordered from here for years. It’s our go to. Always nice and hot and delivered super quick. And often free spring rolls :) thank you Ho Wah. Love the salt & pepper dishes.

Crispy beef wasn't crispy and very tough to even bite into. The chicken in the chicken balls was bland and had a plastic texture. Very disappointing.

Great prawns, properly prepared and de-spined/cleaned. Good quality chicken used.

Unfortunately they took no notice of my instructions for no seafood or vegetables in 3 of the dishes. I had to pick it all out before my son could eat it. The food was very nice though.

Delicious box meals. Hot, fresh al dente veg and nice flavours, nice chunks of chicken. Not all rice.

This has now become my favourite Chinese takeaway! They follow instructions and the food always arrives piping hot and the delivery person is lovely too. My only criticism is that the chicken dishes could be cooked a little longer!

Lovely food and very quick delivery! My only complaint was that the chicken satay wasn't cooked thoroughly (chicken a little pink so couldn't chance eating it) but the rest of the food was so flavoursome and piping hot! This actually could be my new favourite Chinese takeaway!

Kudos to their delivery driver for great communication. He followed directions to find my address in good time and maintained a polite stance, despite the challenges getting to my address bring. The food was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. Finally, a quality Chinese restaurant that delivers!

Love the food at Ho Wah, unfortunately this time we had bean sprouts in the chow mein which I specifically asked to be removed due to allergies. Will order again from here, but hope the restaurant notes requests in future.

I have used this restaurant before and I must admit, not nearly enough. The food is great, the service is excellent and always delivers promptly.

The crispy shredded chicken was dry and too salty - more like salt and pepper chicken without the pepper and far too much salt. Usually this dish is lovely - not sure what happened today!

Not great today. The spring rolls were good but yhe rest of the food was bland, the box meal had no flavour and the chicken was inedible.

Delivery driver was rude and demanded information.

in the note part i put no onions in chow mian but they both had them in not happy paid for two meals that had to be dumped

Yummmmy food, delivered as fast as possible, am more than impress.

We order from Ho Wah a fair bit, but this time we wanted to try some different dishes. We ordered prawn toast and it tasted less than fresh so ended up not eating that. I also wanted to order a special curry but there is no option to order this without rice (boiled or egg for a min of 50p) which was annoying so we ordered another dish. Overall food was nice but disappointing that you pay for food you don't feel comfortable eating and then can't get dishes you want without having to order something else.

The food was cold the sweet and sour sauce was off and chips over done.not happy

Food was delivered within 40 minutes of ordering, so that's a bonus. Got a free portion of spring rolls (although we don't eat them 😅) but still an nice gesture. But the food just isn't great. The sweet and sour chicken tasted of orange, the special chow mein was bland Chicken cashew was okay tasting but all in all just a very bland meal. I won't be finishing the food off.

Though the food was good (not everyone enjoyed their meal - the won ton soup did not get a great review from the recipient), I called the restaurant to check whether my food had left the restaurant. My delivery slot was between 21.15 - 21.35. I called the restaurant 12 times (the line was busy, understandably a Friday night). At 21.26 I got through and asked the person if my order had left; they said yes. I asked them how long ago it left, they said ‘it’s just left’. I believe they had only then processed and prepared my order. My order arrived around quarter to 10, whilst the order was confirmed at 20.21. It took over an 1hr 24mins for my food to be delivered, though the maximum estimated delivery time was 1hr 14mins. If was already a long delivery wait, so anything outside of the estimated time is unacceptable for me.

Ordered online, very easy. Egg rice was good, pork curry was just standard, no real pork flavour. Crispy chilli beef was very crispy and tasty and the little mini pancakes were great. Enough left over to eat tomorrow. Thank you

I don’t normally review but this Chinese was very good. It was all cooked so freshly large portions, hot food and was delivered on time. Perfect!

Late over 1 hour of latest delivery time call at 1945 told was busy we was next delivery, waited another 45 minutes App tells me it was then delivered at 1930 would like a refund

The beef fried rice had minuscule beef pieces and peas which isn’t usually there but it was okay in flavour

Very terrible food, sent me sticks and called it beef in shredded sauce , made me look foolish and never offered compensation.

Service and delivery time were good (on time, hot food and even threw in some free mini spring rolls) but the food wasn’t great nor as advertised. - Not as advertised: crispy chilli beef, they’ve used bamboo or similar not beef, literally ZERO beef used in it. - Thai green curry was extremely watery!

Were trying this place for the first time, so just ordered some old favourites to compare with other places. Hot and Sour soup, pancake rolls, prawn toast and salt and chilli ribs. Everything was really well cooked and tasted lovely.

When u ring the shop to be told that they will get back to you then don't bother food was over done and items missing from order will not be returning to this shop

Ordered £48 worth of food, mixed platter cold soggy. Sweet and sour chicken didnt taste right soggy mess. Crispy shredded chicken was awful. Didnt taste how it should. Really disappointed friday night treat takeaway for family and 90% will go in the bin. Will not be ordering from here again. M.rudkin
