I've been going here for well over 30yrs. I have never had a bad meal. Great takeaway. Lots of choice meals.

Good food, always a pleasure to go here

Cannot fault anything about this place. Had it time and time again and every time always delivered quick, hot and always so tasty! My favourite Chinese in Huddersfield ☺️

The best Singapore vermicelli noodles in Hudds and their pancake rolls are divine as well. Lovely people on the phone and delivery. Just the best and my friends who have tried other stuff say the same. Highly recommend

Do not go here for real Chinese food. I ordered many ‘covered in sauce’ dishes, including OK, Sichuan, Kung Pao, and Orange. They all tasted the exact same, Sweet and Sour. The variation between them were minuscule and misleading. The only one I expect to be Sweet and Sour is Orange Chicken. But if you’re into fake Chinese food, the quality is not bad. The only exception is the Prawn Toast. I didn’t taste any prawn in it. It felt like it was made with minced chicken.

Probably the busiest Chinese takeaway I've seen. Food brilliant and very affordable.

Decent price for good filling food.

Always liked this place but things are going down hill. It’s just too busy, you can’t get through on the phone because online orders get in early. They are becoming a victim of their own success. I’ve moved to another takeaway now and they are brilliant, a few pennies more expensive but answer the phone within 5 rings and dare i say it? Better food! Kill’s me because I’ve been loyal for years. C’mon Ho wah, get back to where you were. You’ll survive on phone orders alone, ditch online and concentrate on us that have used you for years. The photo I added was supposed to be. “Special “ Chow Mien! Where is the veg, chicken, pork??? Poor. Sorry but it is compared to your vary local alternatives.

Can't get orders right give you a price when ordering then your order is short rude when you ring them and try to charge you again won't be ordering again been a good customer

Hair in food, sent photo proof.They told me it was cardboard repeatedly it’s clearly hair. No refund, discount, or any sort of reparations. Level of service is shocking especially from the boss/manager.

Best Chinese in Huddersfield hands down. We were struggling to find a good one, they were all just mediocre and came across this one and now we recommend it to all of our friends.

Stopped for some food on my way home as hadn't had chance to grab any lunch. The food wasn't the best but when you're hungry it will do. The sweet and sour balls were overcooked, the sauce was far too sweet (for my liking) and the egg-fried rice was a little on the bland side (no onion/peas in it either). 3⭐ because: very generous portions, the food was hot and the staff were friendly.

There Thai red curried are amazing! I always ask for extra spicy beef or prawn. Me and my husband think this Chinese is one of best in hudds 👍👌

Wow fast delivery 14 minutes from ordering got the banquet a2 was allowed to change 2 meals good portions for £23 can't complain,keep up the good work/food hard to find now a days thanks

Usually the food was always quite good, but a while back, I did find a long blonde hair in my food. When I complained, the staff just laughed and said that it couldn't be from them because they're all dark haired. I do know that a young lady who works on reception has blonde hair. The food ended up in the bin. Additionally, their thai food is disgusting!

Fantastic food, brilliant service

Ordered food and was told 1.5hrs for delivery. Fine by me, I could have a bath and get settled down. 2hrs later no food I was just about to ring to cancel when there was a knock on the door, finally my food had arrived and I was now quite hungry.......... soggy chips and no way was this special chow mein, cold prawns and noodles and as for meat........ there was none. Straight in the bin it went. 🤬🤬 Never again Ho-Wah.

First time using this place and seriously impressed, very clean shop friendly staff and fast service. Food is really tasty and the portions are a very good size, decent priced too 100% recommended

All dishes look and taste like they were cooked the previous day. £60 order for 5 people, nobody wanted to eat the food. All thrown away. AVOID this place, the food is horrible.

We regularly have delicious meals delivered from Ho Wah.we have never been disappointed! Every time the food is delivered as hot as can be, freshly cooked, high quality meat and veg and so very tasty! I think I've tried everythin😁g on the menu now and it's all delicious. The pricing and service are all spot on! Tonight's prawn dish prompted me to leave a review as it was full of big fresh juicy prawns, and arrived within 20 minutes! We are very happy customers and recommended it to all my friends and family!

We have a menu infront of us that they delivered. And they tried to charge 26 pound for a 20 pound order then argue down the phone saying its 6 pound extra no matter what. Do not order here they are robbing people.

Not a bad little takeaway. The food is pretty good and just hits the spot as an occasional treat. The portions are a decent size and suitably priced. The service itself is nice and the premises has always appeared clean. One problem that we have had with the service is that each time we order a delivery they tell us it will be there in 45 minutes, yet the actual time ranges from 15 minutes to nearly an hour. Three of my favourite things would be - Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls - Salt and Pepper Chips - Beef Curry.

Pay 5 pound for about 7 bits on salt and pepper chicken, rice looks like microwave rubbish, asked for special fried rice its all chicken. Food was nice other than rice but wouldnt be going back

So so delicious! Honestly, the price and quality of food is amazing. We collected our food bang on when they said it would be ready and we were in and out and felt the service was safe and a good experience. We got home and laid out our feast - qtr Duck, Crispy chilli beef, 2 x chow mein, Szechuan vegetables, prawn toast, crispy seaweed, veggie spring rolls,prawn crackers... 20 minutes later, we were both in a state of heaven, super full and wanting to eat more, it was unbelievably good! So happy there were leftovers for today that have made up a full lunch which I've just finished as i'm writing this. Definitely will become our regular Chinese takeaway, i would recommend for sure.

Best Chinese in Huddersfield! I’ve ordered from a few places and their food is always really good no matter what you get from on the menu! The staff are always friendly, delivery is quick (we are very close to them) and the drivers are always polite!

Really nice food, majority of it tasted fresh.the battered balls (sweet and sour) were massively overcooked and the spring rolls contained seafood but wasn't detailed on the menu.

Ordered our first meal from here tonight and we were very happy with the food delivered. It arrived as promised within the hour, it was piping hot and it was delicious. We will definitely order from here in the future.

Busy spot but worth the wait wandering dragon was my favourite

Ordered a delivery meal for the first time tonight as a family get together, the order arrived to find every meal was wrong apart from one, rang the restaurant to be firstly told I'm new so I will have to pass you on to the chef, the chef told me that the numbers we had ordered off the menu was actually from an old menu, he appeared to be very apologetic & offered to send out the meals we actually wanted, I asked for a new menu to be sent out also. Order arrived again with no new menu as I found on line the menu we had was actually the correct up to date menu, the sent deep fried egg curry instead of duck in plum sauce & my mum is elegiac to eggs, also hist on the phone the chef was blaming the young new girl in which I found very off hand also when the new order arrived for the second time they sent my mum duck in pineapple rather than the plum as requested twice over, initially we couldn't fault the response we got when rang to let them know how the order was but to find out they lied & we did actually order from the correct menu really is bang out of order my mum could become seriously ill from eating some of that curry. Really not happy

absolutely terrible service, taken 2 hours+ when told it would be 45mins - 1 hour. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy waiting and almost deciding to eat your hand through starvation. Forgot the spring rolls too

Good food, well cooked, and plenty of it

So double checked order when on the phone, all fine food comes and items missing so phoned up and apparently we didn't order them, tried charging again for delivery but happy to give us the items free next time we orderd. Not waiting an other 30-45 minutes for half our meal!! Not happy!!

The food was bloomin lush. We had crispy beef in ok sauce, chicken fried rice, chicken chow mein, salt and pepper chicken, crispy seaweed, salt and pepper chips, spring rolls and a couple of sauces.

Beautiful!! Always, king prawns in batter gets my man smiling more than I can, and the BBQ ribs ARE AMAZING! My son is the fussiest of eaters but never hear a peep when he munching on their chow mein
