Looks better than it did twenty years ago however you will get fined for being in the car park longer than 30mins so make sure to speak to staff if you're using the car park.

Only called in as the Farmer's Boy was closed for a private event. Bad move! The foul language from the 'gentlemen' sat at the bar was repulsive. Never again.

The drinks were very good. I loved the people here, they were all very friendly. I also loved the atmosphere of this place, it seems very homely, I just wished more people visited to really give it that social atmosphere.

Decent boozer, friendly staff. A great juke box app and nicd beer selection.

Thought we'd try The Black Bull for a bit of a change. Decently priced alcohol and a charming landlady but pub in need of some tlc. Word of warning though, you might wanna give it a miss if you're not into horse racing as this was showing on all the tvs and was the general topic of discussion around the pub.

Lovely place - just popped in on the off-chance at Jubilee weekend. The pub has a great feel to it. Tina the land lady was dead friendly and pulled a lovely pint. Had loads of tales to tell about a local legend named 'Jacob' and his shirtless, drunken antics.

Called in about 4pm on my way home from work. Few blokes in having a drink with the same idea. Probably about 15people in all, a few more when I left. 1st time I'd called in and staff were welcoming and had a bit of banter.

Used to live in Shepley along time ago. An old local of my dads.friendly staff. What can I say?.... It's been there along time? I remember it being there when I was little. Many more year's of the black bull to come I think. Xx perfect

A village pub that's very friendly and serves good beer. Dogs and children are welcome although there are no facilities for them.

Good place to get a drink and watch the football. Friendly staff. Dogs allowed, which is always a bonus.
