Good match day experience, made all the better by a bit of nice weather and the outside bars being open

Hired hit the bar for our engagement party! Perfect venue, the staff were great and we had an amazing night. Would 100% recommend!

Good location for Middlesbrough games, decent choice of beers, but prices are very high for the town, and for an interior that is essentially wooden benches and school chairs, not the most relaxing or comfy environment, especially for over £6 a pint (!)

nice. had a couple of pints before the Middlesbrough v Luton match. gets very busy. not rowdy as some Boro pubs are. Boro won by the way

Previously heard a lot about this place, but personally wasn’t impressed. Small premises with Toilets that open directly into the Bar.

This bar has very cool atmosphere, it's a pleasure to come here

Had my daughters 18th birthday party here. Staff were excellent and the venue is brilliant. Would definitely hire again.

Fab venue for pre match drinks.

Fabulous venue! Great for birthdays or any celebration. The room was a good size and allowed for some decorations. They provided fabulous music and it was so easy to organise. Would definitely use again!

Great pint of red stripe. Friendly staff. Only had a quick drink but will be back.

Had a few family events here and watched the Euro Final. Great bar with superb staff, best in Middlesbrough.

If you want to wait half an hour for a drink, this is the perfect place. They haven't got a clue about service.

Went today. Was welcomed to start with then after 2 drinks was asked to leave for no reason other than sat at a table for 4 when only 2 of us by a young guy in glasses. The ladys serving and delivering were spot on but the guy had serous attitude

We hired the bar for our nieces baby shower and it was such a pleasant surprise, knowing the area for its industrial past. Hit the bar is an amazing hidden little gem, such a quaint little bar right by the train station. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The place has relaxed feel to it and it definitely worth a visit.

Staff very helpful, friendly and polite excellent venue for private parties and functions. Plus a good selection of drinks.

Shame this place is a little out of town, which is I know not a bad thing tbh, it’s not a very big place either but often has bands or singers on. Has a nice vibe though.

Closed and no sign of life at 13.30 on a Friday, despite opening hours suggesting it should have opened hours ago. If they don’t open then I cannot go in and give them a fair review!

Going downhill like everything else in the town. Couldnt believe they ran out of most beers after the game yesterday . Place seems less looked after than it once was with the atmosphere fading.

Charge £3.50 at the bar then next time £4.25. Not sure they know what they doing behind the bar.

For a pre match bar, there certainly is a impressive selection of beers. Gets busy on match days. Few tweaks it could really be summit special
