El chef es muy bueno en la comida de Hong Kong (sur de China). Es muy estilístico. No se cedería a la demanda del mercado y se aferraría a lo que ama. Es fiel al espíritu original de la comida cantonesa.

Lovely, family owned business. The restaurant is exceptionally clean and well presented. The owner helped with any questions we had about the menu and was happy to give recommendations. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Very impressed and shall be returning soon.

As we walked around today decided to try out our local. Even its only take away at the moment, lady came out and took our order, as we were with the small child we have asked if they can deliver (which is 7min walk) lady said no problem. We paid £30 for our meal and left. When we came home we checked the menu she gave us and prices were not matching, for the meal which is on the menu from the restaurant and online: for £ 11,50 meal she charged us £12, she never mentioned delivery fee £3 which on the website and on the restaurant menu is £2,50. There is not much difference but the point is she could have mentioned and not create her own prices. When I phoned back she apologised and said she paid £5 for delivery and that the prices on the menu are 3years old. How come they leave on the website 3 year old prices menu which are cheaper than what they are actually charging. So people just to be aware and double check you bill. Food tasted fine but because of this experience today we will won’t order or walk in again.

Así que entró y estaba tranquilo, pero la señora fue muy cortés. Pedimos gyozas de pollo frito, bola de masa de gambas y wrap de lechuga. ¡Asombroso! ¡No me puedo quejar! Volveremos seguro. ¡Sin duda lo recomiendo!

Decided to follow the reviews and try this Chinese and get a takeaway.... boy were we disappointed! Ordered a simple sweet and sour Hong Kong style chicken and Chicken balls. Chicken balls were greasy and tasted like fish batter over chicken. Sweet and sour chicken...... Soggy chicken in vinegar sauce. Egg fried rice was the only item edible! All the above came to....... £26.00 for a collection!! Can’t believe the high ratings this place has got as it was just a disaster when we ordered and unfortunately will not be returning

We came early so were the only ones in there. The lady, who I guess is the owner was so lovely and friendly. Starters we ordered were mixed veg tempura and chilli tofu, then for mains we shared egg fried rice, crispy seafood noodles, sea bass in ginger and broccoli in garlic, which was enough to satisfy 4 of us. The food was soooo nice, the best chinese I've had in a very long time. Not greasy and flavourful. It's a shame that this place and other places on this road aren't busier due to location, as its defo worth coming!

The most expensive Chinese home delivery we have ever experienced. Dry duck, thin runny hoisin, white bread toasted with a single prawn, uninspiring chicken in black bean sauce and sweet and sour pork. Definitely not value for money. And it was late being delivered. Not recommended.

Living in London it's actually so hard to get a decent Chinese takeaway but I really think we have finally found a decent place! Decent price, quick delivery and high quality food - perfect for that takeaway night!

Sooooo I really fancied a really good tasty Chinese takeaway & my friend had joined me for the evening, but didn’t want one that was greasy & that left a horrible aftertaste..... soooo I started my research.... I started to read reviews for Chinese takeaways in my local area (London W9 2BW) & this one came up with the highest star rating... So I went for it, the reviews were the best I’d read of all the choices.... Then my order arrived..... I’ve got to say, this Chinese was the best Chinese meal that has entered my mouth in years .... HIGHLY RECOMMEND.... I’ll be a local regular customer, Thank you Hiro, the lady on the phone was lovely & the delivery driver was on point xxx

An awful experience. Came here for my daughter's 9th birthday as she loves Chinese food: a midweek evening, so school the next day. I picked Hiro based on favourable online reviews and booked a table in advance. There were six of us: two parents, two children, a grandparent and her partner. We arrived at 7.05 and proceeded to spend 80 minutes waiting in an otherwise deserted restaurant for our food to arrive. Mysterious allusions to "problems" in the kitchen were made, uttered in embarrassed tones, but no further details were offered. We thought of leaving at one point but were assured the food would arrive within 10 minutes: it didn't. We were about to finally give up when at last the food arrived, announced by a solitary bowl of seaweed that preceded other dishes by about 10 minutes. The rest arrived in dribs and drabs. Quality was adequate. End result: a tired and upset daughter, angry parents and a birthday evening ruined.

Puaj. Arroz al Vapor bien. Pan de gambas duras y exageradas. Oh cielos.

I was looking for a good Chinese restaurant around NW London when I came across this little beauty. This is a family run restaurant right next to the famous Abbey road, and not only is the food fantastic, it is also very reasonably priced, and that even comes with a double dose of friendly service! Its actually been a while since i had good Chinese food, so I'll be going back to this one very soon I hope.I ordered Chicken Dim Sum for starters which was just lovely, followed by Sweet and Sour Chicken and Egg Fried Rice. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was by far one of the best I have had in a very very long time. And just to top it off I ordered Toffee Banana for dessert, which was cooked to perfection! Its amazing how you can tell when a chef puts love into his cooking, and believe me I tasted the love!!!Highly recommended to anyone who loves great Chinese food!

Homely style Cantonese cuisine in a discrete setting. A surprisingly comprehensive menu. Seafood dishes, particularly the chef's special, very good indeed.Wines simple, but inexpensive. Has a peaceful atmosphere and very friendly service.Sensible advice given if requested. I enjoyed the visit and food.Seems to be rather popular with regular take away customers from what I heard.

OK. Here we go......I bit my tongue on this one in the restaurant, as I hate to be the party pooper shaming my friends nearly 300 a head lunch. Food was well prepared, tasty, but was simply not generous enough. It felt like a light lunch despite going for the main event (and being TOLD we were having the wine flight), and although precise cookery, nothing really stood out. Mainly due to the lack of portion generosity (yes yes, I know it's Dim sum). The food came in fits and starts and we were never really party to the dishes' philosophies, inspirations or any technical explanations, other than the basic X with Y and Z and a few buzzy words you'd expect to hear in a high-end Asian eatery in London. Really quite poor service and atmosphere for this level of accolade, even if most of the service team themselves were lovely. Initially enthralling bustle of the many staff and humdrum of the kitchen (adjacent to our table) in reality made it hard to comprehend even the basic spiel of the offerings. I've done a fair few top end restaurants of late and this was scraping 1* in my view. Due mainly to the lack of pomp and ceremony amid the quite frankly average service, poor atmospherics, and lack of context (I appreciate these aren't the strict criteria). My main issues were the lack of transparency in pricing and the uninspiring wine program. Yes, we were given Dom Perignon 2013, as well as the more budget end of Schloss Johannisberg's riesling spectrum, but the wines to follow were easy to source from UK retailers, and simply mid-range gumph. We were not once offered any insight into their origins, and the rationale for how they were paired (with, admittedly, some complex less wine-friendly flavours). I'd have expected some more umami focused wines, and why feel the need to serve a red at all? The Sauternes with dessert was pleasant but it was young and easily sourced (from Majestic) for 15 a half bottle. Not exactly special or interesting. I'd have expected them to be serving something with some age, oxidation or distinct character if I'm honest, rather than the namesake 'badge of honour'. A couple of major hiccups that left us sour, a bit salty, and certainly not sweet.... 1) Asked if we fancied some Champagne before we kicked off....... it was tempting by the range on show, but luckily my friend queried the prices up front and we were simply told it's 37 per glass (I believe in reference to the Ruinart Rose. Woof). We quickly asked for alternative aperitifs and were presented with a cocktail menu at a shade less ridiculous prices. Of course, monsieur sommelier was not forthcoming with this and wanted to flog the pricey stuff. What a terrible way to build rapport with your customers at the outset. 2) The lack of pricing transparency continued to the conclusion, where we were offered a choice of 2 coffees. Little to our knowledge they were not included, and were priced eyewateringly at a respective 9.5 and 15 pound. Shameless. To boot, there was zero effort from anyone in the kitchen, or the latterly present main man, to greet or acknowledge us, and we never received the promised menus. I've corroborated my views with others' who have visited on recent occasions. The petit fours were delicious, but the plum shot will unfortunately last as a sour taint for much much longer than intended. No doubt chef and team have worked their woks off to get where they are, but I personally wouldn't venture back or recommend - maybe the 2* is a great ticket to 'single visit/ international churn', but in terms of sustaining a business and maintaining an enduring reputation, I doubt it's a very good strategy. Apologies if you're reading this and are past the pay wall of no return on your booking. My advice would be.....if you care about value for money or your wallet's contents, keep a keen eye on that pesky cheque, and certainly get your coffee round the corner.

It's an establishment that has lost its tradition. The crab Linguine was drenched in heavy cream, garlicky and nothing refreshing. The Pappardelle lamb ragu was gamey and fully coated with oil. I am glad the ricotta ball saved the meal because the focaccia was cold and soggy. This is probably an unusual experience.
