Hinba Specialty Coffee in Glasgow City

This specialty coffee shop is a gem! The coffee is outstanding, brewed to perfection, and always served quickly. The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to relax and the friendly, attentive service adds to the overall great experience. Highly recommend!

The banoffee cake is absolutely horrible, the cake can’t even be called a cake, so dry and tasteless, horrendous!!!! Good coffee though, both iced and hot lattes were really good:)

Beautifully designed space. Decent coffee, including the decaf (Rwandan CO2). Only tried espresso based coffees but they also offer a few handbrew options.

They had no ice but suggested to try the cold brew. And glad I did. The caffeine hit was refreshing and some nice herbally notes at the end. Good coffee always makes me happy.

We only had coffee here and it was very good quality coffee. We have been to both the Hinba coffee shops in Glasgow now.

I've always driven past this place, and today I finally decided to give it a try. And let me tell you, it was worth it! The cafe itself has a charming decor, with a couple of window seats that offer a great view. If you prefer a more cozy atmosphere, there are additional seats available in the back. The staff was friendly, although they could use a little more energy and enthusiasm. However, the real star of the show was the coffee itself. It was unlike anything I've tasted before - smooth, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Unlike the usual strong and bitter taste I'm used to, this coffee was pleasantly mild. Although I forgot to ask where the coffee was sourced from, I would guess it's Brazilian based on its unique flavour profile. I also tried their rolls, and while they were okay, the bread was a bit tough. However, that didn't stop me from enjoying every bite. In short, whether you're looking to grab a coffee on the go or sit in and chat with a friend, this place is a winner. I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a caffeine fix. Cheers! Ps what a cracking shot! Copyrights apply 🤣

nice flat white. had a savory light bite which name i didnt remember. lil coffee shop just near by adam smith business school, spotted this coffee shop via google maps while visiting the campus. this cafe has a quite spacious indoor seatings and clean toilet. interesting menu, might revisit next time when in glasgow

I came back from London to Glasgow in search of this taste. A really great flat white. Ice is good too. You can also take a leisurely rest inside.

V60 is cold and hot ❤️❤️, but no service inside the Caffe

The empanadas were good, just kind of small. Pastries were the star of the show and were amazing.

I visited Hinba after a very traumatic decaf experience. It had to be one of the worst I've had. After doing a wee recce of this wonderful wee place I decided to try the decaf americano with just a dash of cold water and hold the milk to take away. Wow I had to try it while standing before the amazing baristas who were more than lovely and definitely know their stuff. That decaf has definitely restored my love for decaf coffee and more. There was a taste that I couldn't quite place...then half way up Byres Road I shouted out...Scottish homemade treacle toffee. This decaf had this exact taste. It was so beautiful and comforting at the same time. So will I return to Hinba? Try and blooming well stop me. Thank you so much.

A very tasty V60, only thing the music was loud

As always, the best coffee in Glasgow alongside 1841 at the top of Byres road. Still, staff need to work on their manners at the very least if niceties are too much of a stretch. One boy in particular, strolls around with the weight of the world on his shoulders, is really cold and not a “good morning, hello” or anything to be had. If it wasn’t for the coffee being absolute top I wouldn’t venture in, but Glasgow only has a few places on this level

I gotta hand it to Hinba Coffee in Glasgow - a solid 5 stars from me! Had a few hours to kill before my flight and stumbled upon this place on Dumbarton Road just across the road from Majestic Wines. The coffee's on point, and the vibes are just right. It's like a cozy caffeine haven. The folks there? Super chill and friendly. If you're around, drop in for some seriously good brews! Ordered v60 - ☕️

I had an excellent Flat white in here this week with the relatively new Peru Beans, staff are super knowledgeable about all the coffee origins that are offered. Also able to pick up some beans which the shop were able to grind to the size I needed for my french press at home! Super helpful as not many other shops offer this

True specialty roasted espresso experience. There were 3 bean options available when I went. If you’re craving 3rd wave, this is almost certainly one of if not the best option in town

You get to chose your beans! It’s really cozy with inside and outside seating. They didn’t have the brunch menu when we arrived, but the empanadas were great 😊

A good speciality coffee and nice staff. Unfortunately my husband's coffee was served in a chipped cup. No high chairs or baby change facilities. Seating not ideal as most indoor tables came with high stools. An area at the back offered 3 tables with more comfortable seating but in such close proximity that the people next to us having a business meeting on one side and a couple on the other side had no privacy.

Good coffee, with knowledgeable staff. Seating is limited however this does not detract from the atmosphere. Having only been once it looks like it is student friendly and matches the study nook aesthetic. Part of the independent coffee guide cakes looked good.

I came into my office one morning raving about how good the espresso was there, next day a few I went with some of my colleagues and immediately this little shop got more of regular customers. I'm yet to try the food but the hand filters and espressos were top tier!!

Ein gemütliches Café im modernen Style und einer angenehmen Atmosphäre! Der Kaffee ist ein Traum ... Ich hatte mich für einen Caxambu Brazil entschieden. Ein kräftiger geschmacksvoller Kaffee ohne Bitterstoffe! Einfach nur lecker und er roch so guuuut nach meeehr ! Tatsächlich war ich dann jeden Tag meines Kurztrips dort. Das Frühstück bzw Brunch ( ich hatte Empanadas und gebackene Eier ) kann ich auch nur empfehlen !!!! Richtig lecker !! Ness und Fergus geben dem Café durch ihre freundliche und offene Art eine gemütliche Atmosphäre.... wo man gerne verweilt!!!! ....macht weiter so !!! ...und mein Glück : Sie verkaufen den Kaffee ( alle Sorten ) in 250g und 1000g Päckchen ...

Outrageously good coffee and brunch that made both of us say “oh dayum.” Ness is so sweet and also the coffee is next level. The espressos are all extremely well pulled and are as delicious alone as with an oat milk cappuccino. The vibe is lovely, classic, clean, and a very cool place to hang out. This is our new go-to coffee spot in the morning and weekend brunch, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!!

I had already the pleasure to try their coffee in Oban so I knew I would not be disappointed. Three varieties are offered from Brazil, Tanzania and Guatemala, which you can also take them with you at home! All three covering different palettes! There is a surprising selection of pastries, such as chocolate Babka and Argentinian beef empanada! The service is quick and the prices are reasonable!
