Food was amazing, the carvery had lots of options available and the kids meals were really substantial! Amber and Bing were really attentive and ensured we had an amazing time here and were well looked after! We will definitely be back soon!

This is the worst meal received from Just Eat. The hunters chicken had little evidence of the cheese, bacon or sauce and arrived wrapped up in salad which wasn't as advertised, nor wanted. The pie came with no veg or gravy and both meals were cold.

Needs to be more veg can't understand why there are no peas ?

In answer to the previous comment it was those people that were drunk they had more than 3 bottles of wine and drinking gin whilst not supervising their 3 aggressive children. The drunk people they are referring to is 1 child celebrating her 18th birthday that went and asked them to control their children from attacking her little brother. I nor her father or the other gentleman that was with us had an alcoholic drink. However other patrons in the establishment do not make it a bad experience we were a group of over 20 people who had mostly left before they decided to come over and start on the 18yr old. Food was good service was good no complaints about any of it just maybe consider not serving so much alcohol to people sitting in the play area

We had my Dad's funeral wake at the Hillfields Farm. We had our own section and there were flasks of coffee and hot water for tea that was ready for us when we arrived . We all had a carvery and they brought out fresh vegetables and meat. Everyone commented on how good the food was. It was perfect for a small wake. I always used to take my Dad to the Hillfields Farm for a carvery so it was meaningful.

This is a nice Green King pub tucked away in the Monkspath Hall Road Business Park, behind the Pegasus building and the Porsche dealership. The staff are lovely, and the premises neat and clean. Love how they support Macmillan with their prize envelopes hanging behind the bar.

The quality of the food was extremely poor and not good enough. I have photos. The meat was tough and grisly. The childrens meal was appalling. I eat here often and would not complain unless i felt it really necessary.

Went on a Tuesday afternoon, lovely place, quite quiet but full of character. Great place to have lunch, haven't had a poor meal. Chef Bing was on today and she's very talented, all was delicious!

Great place to have a good lunch while also charging your EV (bank of 4 CCS connectors). I must admit I must've come at a poor time for the carvery, seemed a bit on the dry side, but the coffee was good and service overall was also great. Will stop again happily!

Such a nice place with great staff and the best carvery we've found. We were part of a big group (30-40) but it was no problem - the waitress (Bing) was everywhere and the chef (Mo) was a complete star.

Came for lunch for my dad's birthday, and the food was lovely. I had the beef and it was like butter. We were served by Bing, who couldn't do enough for us, or anyone else, flying around busy and making sure everyone is okay. Hats off to the chef Shaun, all the food was amazing! Very happy with our visit!

Never before have I seen pilau rice contain sweetcorn, carrots and some kind of mash (might have been sweede). Utterly bizarre. I only stopped here to use the charging point and this is still the only reason I'd go here. I'll stick to drinks only next time.

We went for the breakfast with santa. It was our first visit, we found the staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and the breakfast was good value for money. The kids had a great time and the whole family enjoyed every minute. Now for the few minor negatives, some of the chairs could do with reupholstering and the two toasters could do with an upgrade. Such an amazing christmas dinner! we were table 5 and was served by Bing with chefs Shaun & Mo. the food was absolutely delicious and completely filled us up we had to take our desserts to go! all the servers are absolutely lovely and Bing was a ray of sunshine, she really made our christmas memorable thank you so much! Warm welcome from the staff, and even during busy times you are checked on regularly, Bing's customer service is brilliant and she's always happy to help. Menu is varied and well priced, very nice food.

An excellent lunch time venue. Food was great and a special mention for Bing and Mo, two members of staff who looked after us, and contributed to an enjoyable couple of hours.

We arrived today at an arranged time was shown to our table it was in the kids play area . When we booked we asked for a family area not in the play area . We approached a member of staff who said it was full. The tables looked like they was dragged out of storage to make room for people . So it was either stay or go elsewhere . We decided to stay as could not book anywhere else on short notice . We ordered a drink it was flat they replaced it and it was the same so just left it meal was ok but when the play area got busy it was terrible trying to enjoy your meal not blaming the kids as it's their area and think you should not put customers in that area. So we decided we shall not return after many years going there . Family of 9.

Great carvery but maybe give the beef a miss

We were feeling hangry after looking at tiles and this was the closest place that came up…. So happy to have found it! We were served by the Bing, who radiates £ Happiness and the food by chefs Mo and Mr T was delicious. There is a small activity area for kids which kept them entertained. Carvery was fresh and cooked really well - best veggie roast I’ve had out in a while - and this was before my veggie main bit came! We were so full we needed up having to box up our dessert and pie - the staff were helpful with this and it was no problem at all. A really friendly, welcoming atmosphere - I would highly recommend this place for a lovely Sunday roast and will be bring the rest of my family back soon!

We went for a birthday party and once we arrived everything seemed quite nice and peaceful. However, we ordered our food and an hour gone and still no food. We then went to see if there was a problem and supposedly the system went down because of the "many people here today". As the food came out half an hour later, one of the dishes came out and looked like it was just chucked together not even thought of.

Went yesterday for a coffee with a group of friends at 12.15 ran out of coffee..the queue system was.a disaster staff did their best but under manned and then went to loo washed my hands and soap dispenser came off wall terrible customer experience won't be going back

Really enjoyed my time here. Had a catch up with my best mate and she recommended here. Ended up having the fish supper and a couple desserts after (I was very hungry 🤣) and really enjoyed all of it!!! Our server, Bing, was really lovely. A good laugh, knew what she was talking about, and was a general happy soul when she was around. And on top of that, her knowledge was top notch, so next time I need to know anything about Hillfield, I won't need to Google it, I'll just Bing it 🤣

I haven’t been to Hillfield farm in years but came for a Christmas catch up with my friend! When we arrived we were immediately greeted by Bing who was very welcoming and went out of her way to find us a great table! She explained how to order food and how the carvery worked! The food arrived quickly and was piping hot and tasty! Bing came over and checked to ensure we were happy. Proper pub grub so thank you Jay and Kieran! Our plates were also cleared promptly and Bing returned to ask if we needed anything else to which we replied that we’d already ordered some cakes, which again came promptly although neither of us were expecting how large the sizes of the slices were but the more the merrier for us! Thank you Bing and the team!

It's a great find for a family roast. The food was great, very good service, and the price for what you get is awesome, really.

We booked ahead and arrived on time, standing by the reception area for about 10 mins before anyone actually came to seat us. Nobody in front of us thankfully. Had a fairly long wait at the bar for drinks, maybe 10 to 15 mins, only 1 person behind the bar, on a busy Friday evening, just not good enough. My partner ordered a curry, arrived after 20 mins. The curry itself was stingy, the naan bread rock solid and inedible, the rice not even cooked through thoroughly. She sent it all back. I had the carvery, the meat, roasties and gravy were all excellent, but the green beans almost so mushy turned to soup, cauliflower cheese totally dried out and the stuffing absolutely rock solid and inedible. So poor service and substandard food. We are local but will definitely not be going back.

Today I was served by Leanne. I have to say I was very very impressed. She was extremely helpful, polite and considerate and is an absolute credit to your business. If every place of hospitality had employees like Leanne, then the business would be thriving much more than it currently is. Thank you Leanne and the offer of marriage still stands lol

We booked breakfast with Santa, a small group of us go to one every year, this one has been the best by far. Well organised and plenty of time with Santa. I really liked the fact Santa was in a separate room, and that you get called up, table by table. Now the big man himself was awesome, really engaging with the kids. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the venue itself is great for kids as there is a separate area for them to play. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely morning.

A Stressed lady came to show us to our table and organise our drinks and express carvery tickets.It felt like when you go to Mac sThe payment process machine that supports blue light was broken. When asked to us the app we tried and that never worked after 10 minutes it completely spoilt the dining experience as It was 19,15 hrs and everything was shutting down it seemed that way and no real time to help. I have eaten there three times in past few months, And this is certainly not the past standard experienced. Maybe more staff needed or a little more training in order

Roast is normally alright, I mean it's good value for money usually. Yesterday was horrible, the roast potatoes tasted like they was roasted the day before and reheated? Gravy was like water and the guy carving the meat didn't have a clue what he was doing.

My family and I had a Sunday carvery. The food was ok, a bit strange they didn't serve peas, but flavours was good and food was hot. All the staff were helpful. There was one particular member of staff called Bing that was funny, friendly, bubbly and incredibly helpful, the cheese cake she recommended was amazing, thanks Bing !

Sunday Roast is good and price is reasonable. A busy Sunday afternoon for the restaurant, we were served by Bing and she was very helpful and friendly!

I had the pleasure of being served by Scarlett, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. She made excellent recommendations and ensured that everything was perfect throughout our meal. What truly stood out was her genuine warmth and the way she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It’s rare to find such outstanding service, and scarlett truly made our dining experience memorable. We'll definitely be back, thanks to her exceptional hospitality!

Lovely dining experience getting us ready for the Christmas spirit and lots of good food everyone went for a classic carvery and it certainly didn't disappoint. The food was delicious and the meat was so tender. Are waiter Bing was so nice and certainly made us feel at home with the whole experience. What a great place to eat and I certainly recommend.

Carvery was lovely, staff were great. Bing is always smiling and friendly and the carving chef was pleasant.

Can't fault the quality and value for money of the carvery. Staff all very friendly and welcoming.

Food was very tasty although plates weren't very warm which made go colder quicker. There is a children's play area - be prepared to take your card though as it all costs! If you don't expect restaurant service for the price of carvery, etc it works out good value for money.

One of my favourite eateries in Solihull. Ample parking spaces and free parking for the first three hours. I love their buffet breakfast and carvery very much, in particular, for the carvery, one can have unlimited sides like potatoes and vegetables. The staff are very sincere, friendly and helpful especially Bing who always makes sure the patrons are happy with the food and service. 👍👍👍👍
