nice fish and chip shop, would give it 5 stars but they lose 1 because they stopped making pizzas. they were better than the pizza shops around Billingham.

I have had gluten free fish and chips from here about 8 or 9 times and they have been good but 3 times they have been overdone so the fish has been dry, one time it was more dry than I care to eat but I couldnt be bothered to go back about it. I wonder if it is sometimes thought that the batter should be the same colour as ordinairy batter when cooked but in my experience gluten free batter is lighter in colour -so trying to get it to ordinairy ( gluten containing batter) colour, when frying it, results in it being overcooked. 'shame because it is handy to get gluten free fish and chips in Billingham, closer to home therefore, but I have been keeping my fingers crossed each time that they will be good, however 3 times of being dis-satisfied means I probably wont be taking the gamble again.

Love this fish shop. Is the best that we have ever tasted . I think heart and sole goes in to this place and I really aprieciate that. We tried other places such as of the hook to be let down badly. Thank you to this amazing place x

My daughter told me that this takeaway catered for gluten free fish and chips. Being Coeliac, I have always had to travel to Seaton Carew to get proper gluten free fish and chips. I can only give the High Grange Takeaway a full 5*!!!! The batter on the fish was crispy, tasty and just.....perfect. My chips were also crisp and lots of them. They do them in a different fryer to eliminate cross-contamination. I be back for more when I want fish and chips and would highly recommend this fish and chip takeaway for gluten free (Coeliacs). Well done :-)

I am not a fan of chip shop food but tonight, for ease, I asked my hubby to get us some chips to go with casserole I had for reheating. I can honestly say they were the best chips I have ever had from a chippy!! They were a beautiful golden brown, crispy, but soft in the middle and were not at all greasy. There was very little grease in the packaging either.... Absolutely perfect, like home cooked

Can summarise in one word. Awesome. The food is always perfectly cooked. Fished cooked to order. My favourite is line caught Haddock, but the Cod is great too. Chips are simply the best.

Clean, efficient with great knowledge of cooking proper fish and chips. You would be a fool to buy fish and chips anywhere else in the area.

Often on a Friday we opt for Fish and Chips and it just has to be Peter's on High Grange, best fish and chips for miles. Good solid family run business, with great cleanliness throughout. Good value for money, portions are good and the fish is always top quality, big white flakes of cod. Counter staff are great, they are polite and efficient.

Not the cheapest but you certainly get what you pay for. You won't be disappointed! 5* Excellent value.

Been using this chippy for about 16 years. Massive fan. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Fish has always been top quality and the chips are to die for. Would highly recommend.

The quality and size of portions of food are superb. Although I try to not have fried food too often I am thrilled when my wife says that we are having our meal from here. It is the best.

A menudo uso esta tienda de pescado y no tengo ninguna queja. Sólo he tenido el pescado y patatas fritas salchichas habituales, etc. Sin embargo, no todo tipo de otras cosas como pizzas kebabs, etc.hay unas cuantas tiendas de pescado frito con patatas fritas en nuestra zona pero seguimos volviendo a éste.

I will not go anywhere else. I have tried the rest but this is the best and if that was not enough, their chicken paramo also cannot be beaten but make sure you are hungry or willing to share!!
