HFC Roundhay Road in Leeds

This takeaway used to be my go to takeaway spot when I was younger, when I payed a visit yesterday got a cheesy rider and I was so disappointed the chicken was rubbery and chewy and the fillet wasn’t crispy.

Top tier grill food. Full of quality and taste.

Very rude stuff disgraceful service they tried to steal my money when I asked for my food they said we already gave it to you when they didn't I asked for them to check the cameras and they're very rudely said no then the manager came and just threw the money at me.

The best value for money chicken shop chain in Leeds. 2 for 1 on chicken burger and chips will fill your belly for a bargain price. The grilled wings are great too.

Waste of money, Ordered zinga, screaming nacho and the supreme burger.costs more than £30 and arrived cold and soagy. Also the chicken pieces were so fat and lacked taste. Chips were chewy. Me and my family couldn’t eat more than few bites.

What can I say about HFC that I haven’t before every beach I have visited simply EXCEPTIONAL

It gave a feel of KFC india. Almost same ambience and service with few more food items that are not served in India. French fries was too yum

Why would anybody go to KFC? This joint is top dollar for the price point. My and my son go always have the peri peri burger meal for £6. The only issue is parking. You'll realise how good it is just by how busy it always is.

Always consistently good and so I’m always going back and cannot complain in terms of value for money and quality.

Specialists in there field. Cater for everyone's needs. There fried and grilled is the best and also value for money. Why go to Nando’s for a full chicken when I can get it here for half of the price ? And it also tasting better. Can’t go wrong with half peri platter or a chicken after gym.

Love this place. Make the best grilled peri peri wings. I just wish they would pick up the phone more consistently so I don’t have to wait to pick up my order. Otherwise 10/10

Standards have dropped since its initial launch. Food, service, and atmosphere quite poor as is hygiene practices. All staff behind the counter could be any random joe..in jeans and a tee shirt or a tracksuit... Theres no mask, gloves or uniform to define there position or personal hygiene. They are afterall handling food and serving the public.

Nipped in for some cheesy chips but will definitely go back to try their combo meals! Nice decor inside for a takeaway.

Only checken steak and rice. There normal grill chicken is very raw, and its not eatable

The wings were the most saltiest thing I've ever had, and I eat a lot of salt. The peri peri chicken was bland. The mango and lime marinade was so watered down you couldn't taste anything. The kofta would have actually been nice if they didn't over cook it, it tasted bitter because they burned it so much. I don't understand how they have so many branches? Unless they all taste different from each other? However the prices and portions are very good.

The food has gone absolutely disgusting, wouldn’t be surprised if they got rats in the basement where they store the food. Chicken was dry as the Sahara desert and chips were solid and tasted off like they’ve never cleaned their fryer. Wasted £10.00. This place needs to be shut down and needs to be checked by food inspectors ASAP

The food is good but the staffs are rude

The first time I tried the food from this place when they first opened, it was amazing. The food was well cooked. But they have had more customers, this place has been terrible. I stopped eating there recently when I almost died from their peri chicken I bought. Their frier broke so they were only doing peri meals. I bought peri chicken and within 2 mins it was ready. The chicken was uncooked but I was so hungry that day and within 20mins of eating I had a severe belly pain. I was vomiting really bad that I had to call an ambulance and taken to A&E. I was good poisoned. Since then I have stopped. Their customers service is not the best either. It’s general, the shop has gon really bad. I usually recommend it to people but now I don’t even go there anymore there are better places in harehills

Peri burger was tastless, cheese was tasteless and the garlic sause was terrible. Thought I'd try as seen them on Uber but what a let down

Got my order wrong and made out it was my fault. No attempt to correct or even acknowledge that it may have been a miscommunication. I have eaten there at least once per week for the last year and the server appears to have changed for the worse. Beware.

I would have given it 0 star but sadly that’s not an option the staff were rude and scamming the costumers for 2x the price of their order also not following my wish to make my food when I want them to make it and when I get the food cold it’s a not even what I ordered and there’s no refund even know tho they told me they do refunds worst place ever the staff should get another job if they can’t do this one properly.

Always consistent, safe option in Leeds, foods nice with quick service. All their food is nice but would definitely recommend the grilled stuff over fried. Sauces are amazing too!

Food was very nice. I am strictly halal, so this was a win-win. Location of the restaurant seemed a bit remote. Staff were ok. Seating too was ok, but seemed a bit closed in and restricted. Close to other shops and a local Tesco Express.

Chicken burger definitely under cooked

Reasonable prices. Big Portions. Fast service. Free tubs of sauces. Only thing I would complain about is that tables were a bit dirty.

Good food, eg burgers, drinks, fries and great customer service. Just need more seating area and delivery of food and it be full marks. Not eaten here in ages and their stopped selling the potatoe wedges.

1st time I ordered they got my order wrong and wouldn't correct it, I gave the benefit of doudt and ordered a second time again they got our order wrong, chips where rock hard and the chicken was like rubber - absoulutly disgusting food AND staff are extremely rude, i would have gave 0 stars but it wasn't an option!!!!!!!

I think hfc is the best grilled shop in Leeds I love to only get my peri peri burgers from them they do it so well and tasty . The wings are amazing . Lovely taste . Highly recommend ❤️❤️

Whilst not tried myself, the others appeared to enjoy the zinger burger and it seems very well priced especially for 2 and those being meals rather than just the burgers themselves. Service was quite quick and it's always nice to see a place quite busy immediately after Friday prayers - limited seating but I think mainly the takeout service and the proximity to the hospital makes this a good stop. The only issue is that you may have to walk a little bit although those more familiar with the local geography will be better placed comment

I just had the nicest wraps I have ever eaten in my life from here and it was so good I just had to leave a review! I had the fried chicken and jalapeño Mexican wrap, it was spicy and creamy and the chicken was cooked perfectly so soft and tender! The wrap was loaded too none of this skinny mostly lettuce wraps! Whilst eating it I legit said this is the best wrap I’ve ever had like 4 times and whenever I get a takeout I always get a wrap so I’ve had my fair few! Can’t wait to introduce this place to all my friends and family :)

Great quality food quick. May need to sort out how they keep their sauces. They run a self serve system, while waiting for your food you can pour your sauces in little pots provided. Not hygiene friendly as all types of people touch the pots to select their sauce. And at lunch time when people are in a hurry most days hygene is foegotten such as licking fingers and plastic pots. This a no no. HFC.

Poor quality product I ordered chicken wings and they give me very small size wings, it didn't look like chicken wings my money was wasted.

Nice quality food, plenty of choices from grilled to fried, small seating area and gets really busy during lunch times. Good choice of drinks than your regular pepsi or 7up and plenty sauces.

I ordered a Big Daddy burger meal and it was cold and hard, took it back and they refused to exchange it or refund it. Very rude manager and 0 customer service. Never coming back.
