Great food and historically good caramel shortcake in this very friendly cafe. The philosophy of the place is to give people with learning difficulties opportunities to get work experience and everyone does a wonderful job and created a COVID safe environment. Very happy to support this place twice while we visited a week before second lockdown. I hope the cafe is able thrive once everything opens up again.

We arrived mid afternoon for a sandwich and refreshments and received a warm welcome. After ordering at the counter, our sandwich plates with side salad and crisps were ample portions and very tasty. The staff were chatty and keen to please. Recommended.

we had been recommended to this cafe by our daughter-in-law and were not disappointed. We visited with our grandaughter who thoroughly enjoyed her chocolate cake. The bacon in the bacon roll was especially good and we were told it was supplied by a local butcher - they try to source all their products locally. There are a number of staff who have learning difficulties but everyone there is very pleasant and welcoming. Do visit and support what they are doing.

But other than that Really disappointed with the food, We had the shredded chilli beef and it was extremely chewy and not very nice. The chicken and mushrooms was bland and again not very nice. House special chow main again wasn’t very nice. Overall we were really disappointed with it we didn’t actually end up eating most of it. Shame as the reviews looked promising.

Queens Parade, 121-123 London RoadChose this eatery as it looked nice from the outside. Opted for the liver and bacon on mash potato, ample portion and cooked to perfection, very tasty, washed down with a cup of tea. Dessert was sponge and custard, lovely and more than ample custard. So impressed I took away a large piece of their quiche and a couple of cheese scones for later, also good. Great staff/service at this venue and will definitely return to try the breakfast .

9 Frobisher Gardens St Peters SquareA great breakfast on a lovely, sunny terrace We had an exceptionally delicious breakfast with high-quality ingredients at a good price for that level of quality. The cakes are amazing, homemade. They remind us of childhood and grandma's cakes. The staff is friendly, especially the owner, who is very kind and pleasant. We will definitely come back because they have the best breakfast in Emsworth.
