Heidi's Swiss Patisserie in Havant

This is a great place to have a tea/coffee and cake. The staff here are so very friendly and the cakes are huge. So fresh and we always stop off in here when we pop to Sinah Warren Hotel. We can definitely recommend the chelsea buns. Spoilt for choice as there is a great variety of cakes and pastries, sweet and savoury.

very nice sandwiches and rolls they will make them up for you if you can't see what you want. cakes and pastries to die for!!

All baking done on the premises, , quality of the bread and pastries is first class. Great coffee at very reasonable price if you are eating I.

Again been here everytime I have visited Hayling Island. Fantastic cakes, great service, friendly staff. Worth a visit not just for cakes, they do lots of other things too. Happily recommend.

Wow really really friendly staff much better than Meghan Heidi as they ALL serve you immediately when your sat in , I loved the food definitely coming back

Over priced for what you get. The cakes look great but that's were it ends. They are dry & disgusting. I love a hot cup of coffee, but when it came it was luke warm and I could have drank it straight down. Had to send it back and ask for it to be hot. Forget it.

Their cakes are to die for....order a celebration cake they are competively priced and taste delicious

I made an unplanned visit today with my three year old grandson, who was fast asleep on my shoulder. The staff were very welcoming, helped me get seated and looked after me well until he woke up. It was great to watch their interaction with their regular customers, and we will definitely be going back.

The staff here are absolutely brilliant. They are always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere they generate is such that you will want to return here again and again. The fresh bread cannot be beaten and the cakes are great too. You must visit this cafe.

Excellent bakery. Great for delicious breakfast. Super staff especially Nicky and Freda and Sue who cooks my mushroom melt.

Ate here two lunchtimes on my visit to Hayling island. Great cappuccino and generous filled rolls definitely would recommend

Always lovely choice of bread & cakes here. Afternoon special really good value.bakery on site so nothing travelled far ,only downside toilets could be cleaner but sure it was just an "off" day .

Recently I was back on Hayling for a few days and needed some wineand Proper Job beer so stopped at Sainsbury in Mengham.Wanting something to take for lunch went over the road to Heidi's-Ah! A steak and kidney Pie!It did say 15% meat !!!Hardly a good pie-Lots of gravy, a dense crust that was given to the birds.Tho' a good glass of Proper Job!However, The next day I had to see a solicitor in West Town,So stopped at the shop there and bought a ham bun.What a difference-I was expecting a heavy rollBut no-a delightfully light, multi -grainish flat bun-Ham with lettuce and tomato.Meat was probably 25%Very tasty-enjoyed it with a glass of Proper Job

We have visited this cafe a few times now, and always find the staff very friendly. A good range of cakes and menu. Would highly recommend this place.

Visited for a quick breakfast and what a great breakfast it was. Coffee was good, sourdough bread was lovely and the scrambled eggs were delicious. Only problem was there was too much so felt so full i couldn't finish!! A few cakes to take away were super tasty!

Went there today lovely people nice bread....still a dirty place for a restaurant/café the premises needs to be clean the seating area is really dirty the walls are stained skirting boards yuck the floor is horrid.. shame...

This outlet is well known for baking its own bread and cakes but handy for a meeting place for friends for acup and a cake. You just have to look at the choicees presented for pasties, sausage rolls, scones and you are hooked. Eat in or take away for later as we do because there all great. Want a meal then look whats available and find a seet. Whats more is that you will find the name in other places in the area. Chicester and at least one other place on the Island. Once you have experienced the quality of their food at one place you will know that it will be great at another.

the heidis at mengham is fithy.... look at the walls the skirting bords the splash backs eeewww just needs a deep clean.

Very competitive prices good value and service. Pleasant helpful staff. Visit on a regular basis. Many shops in the area I always use them when I'm in the same area.

Service is great and the Coffee is Very good. Good range if snacks and Pastries, take away service available.

This was a first time visit to this Heidi's restaurant and as usual it's good.....but the attentive service is amazing here in fact so outstanding which was so fantastic.....can't believe that service like this still exists today...what an experience !! full marks

A busy cafe/shop in West Town district of Hayling.Called with our Grandson, having walked the Hayling Billy Line/Trail. High chair for the little one, accommodating staff who were very friendly.The sandwich rolls were very good and the filter coffee has a free top up. Cakes and loaves all looked very tempting.Lots of locals using the cafe, all known to the staff.A couple of tables outside.Lots of people having take away sandwiches (freshly made).Small but clean loo.Have visited several Heidi's and this was the best of its peer group.

If you want quality at a good price, this is the place to go. Have the choice to eat in or take away. The staff are fantastic.

How lucky us Hayling Islanders are to have such a great bakery in the middle of our village. The fresh bread, cakes and pastries all made on the premises are delicious.

Heidi's offer great variety of fresh snacks and amazing cakes. Brilliant service and very reasonably priced. Cannot be ignored. During a 5 day break we go to Heidi's 5 times. Very inviting.

We were staying at Warners Lakeside, approx. 1 mile away & fancied looking at the area. Heidi's was an excellent choice for buying something different to eat, from what was on offer at Warners. Parking was easy, with a good amount of short term parking near to the shops. The selection of cakes, snacks & pastries was wonderful, and we enjoyed the reasonably priced food. There is also a café facility within the premises, seating I guess 7+tables.Well worth going there & if I lived in that area it would be a regular place for delicious food.

My Wife & I really enjoy Heidi's, The Hayling Island Cafe is brilliant, parking not so good BUT, the Coffee with Cream, & Cake's (Etc) are what we go for, plus the free refill's, the quick service by chatty staff make for a really please & tasty time

There are a few Heidi's dotted around Hayling and the surrounding area, a family business but one of the most professional and cleaning looking bakeries I have seen in the area. I had a fruit tart last and it was delicious and one of the best I have ever tasted. You can tell how popular it is as there was a queue out the door when I visited ( I did get served very quickly though). Highly recommend for a snack savoury or sweet.

One of the great things of the island is this great place. The ladies always seem friendly and smiley. Is a great atmosphere which makes me want to hop behind the counter and work along side them! My daughter has serious food allergies and the poor lady I kept asking if this and that had certain ingredients in was ever so polite and helpful with checking and helping find something suitable and yummy for my daughters treat. I love this place a-lot. I wish we could go in more then we do! Personally I find Heidi's is more reasonably priced and of a better quality then Ruby's tea room which I was actually surprised to find. Heidi's is now our favourite bakery for sure! Wonderful place which were always keen to take visitors to.

Whilst waiting for an 11am appointment nearby we dropped in for a cup of tea. There are approximately 6-7 tables with 3 chairs at each. The two tables that were vacant had not been cleared of dirty crockery we had to do this ourselves before we sat down. Only two staff were on duty - one was serving a customer at the counter whilst the other was doing something behind the coffee bar area. As we sat waiting we noticed two other "counter" customers came in and despite us waiting already these customers were given priority and served first! This also gave us time to observe our surroundings and whilst the idea of a coffee shop is a good one, there weren't enough staff to attend to both sides of the business. The floor was smattered with crumbs and particles of food debris. Eventually one member of staff came to take our drinks order whilst the other cleaned the table ... spraying me in solution at the same time though I feel this was a genuine mishap rather than anything else. Our pot of tea was delivered swiftly, though, and we a full, delicious pot-full. My husband had a slice of Millionaire's shortbread, equally appetising. The range of cakes and food on offer looked delicious though slightly off-putting when one of the assistants constantly kept rearranging the display, despite having food gloves on. In fairness this seemed to be a popular venue with tables both inside and out being occupied and customers coming and going. Just not top of my list to return.

Stopped here for a sandwich lunchtime , it is quite small but the food is freshly prepared, service was good, food was good, also get a coffee top up for free

Quick stop for a freshly brewed coffee and chance to pick up a fresh cream eclair for my beloved. Nice coffee and clean tables.

We often pop into Heidi's in a Saturday morning after walking the dog Fira coffee and snac. We enjoy sitting outside watching the world go by, chatting to people and petting the dogs that stop off to say hello. If you have a filter coffee you can get a free refil. Great choice of parties and cakes. Free dog water thrown in too.

We were looking for some where for a lite bite & a cuppa, been to Hayling island many times, but first time here, all the usual things you would expect, but very well presented by keen staff, no doubt will go again next time were down south!! Highly recommended.

Called in here a couple of years ago and enjoyed a wonderful bacon and fried egg bap (or bread cake depending on your origins!). Returned yesterday and had the same again, same top quality! Friendly, welcoming staff, prompt delivery of food and tea. My wife had the tomato soup of the day and said it was nice. Couldn't resist a cake to accompany the tea but ignored the wide selection of attractive cream cakes and chose the Lemom drizzle cake which was very light and enjoyable. Meant to ask one of the staff where in Yorkshire she was from, judging by her accent - I'm from Leeds, but didn't. Very surprised to see that this branch wasn't listed on FB and potential customers may be put off by some poor reviews relating to other branches of the chain. Will return, well done!N
