The cheeseboard not only looked stunning but, had everything you could want on it and more! The cocktails were delicious, you’ve got to try the raspberry ripple, it’s punchy!! Great atmosphere, friendly staff this is the place to visit on the island for a great night out, highly recommend

Could be great if they could only get a chef , Sunday roasts were great & it was always busy . Its losing trade & lacks atmosphere. Which is a real pity as location & furnishings are top. 😕

First time at this restaurant for a birthday celebration for four people. Met all our expectations & more, food was excellent with good portions & presented beautifully, staff were very friendly & helpful. Will deffinatley be back soon.

Excellent service and great choice of drinks

What a lovely meal we have had tonight at Ralph's. 2 adults, 3 children and a lockdown puppy, all had a lovely time sitting in the garden area. The food was amazing and the best we have had on the island so far. The manager of the restaurant was superb (sorry I didn't get his name). It was a great meal. The Wine and Lager selection was also awesome.

Father's Day at Ralph's Wine bar. Easy on line booking. The roast was good. But no Tappas on a Sunday. Probably better all round to do fewer thing well, than more and waste the surplus. A price list would help. Percy enjoyed the trip out after initially refusing to leave the house.

Booked a table for food at 8pm, it then took around an hour to be served our drinks and first choices. By the time our plates had been cleared and the staff asked if we wanted anything else the kitchen had shut. £30 for antipasti, bread and two glasses of wine. To their credit they did offer complimentary drinks. On average each dish was £7.95 but cannot speak for the quality as we never got the chance to try anything.

Enjoyed him and tonics in the back patio. Friendly staff. Will return.

We had the Sunday roast which was all home cooked and delicious and the service was top notch. Will definitely go back to Ralph's again.

Rude and unwelcoming I had booked a table for 5 of us to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival we were told by the manager in no uncertain terms that there was no table as the booking was for three and it was our mistake. As a concession we were offered a table outside next to a bonfire in the 30 degree heat; needless to say we declined and left. At no point did we receive an apology. My husband even popped back on his way to the takeaway to show the original booking - clearly stating 5 people - but the manager did not want to know. I have since contacted the bar twice but have been ignored on both occasions. Absolutely shocking customer service. Update: having been contacted by the owner two of the original party returned to Ralphs. What a difference being greeted and served by someone else..... They enjoyed good food and an interesting choice of gin. They would return. Thank you for making the effort to put things right.

Warm friendly atmosphere, even in these unprecedented times. Social distancing in place and felt able to relax. Will definitely go again.

Keeping it a little old school!

Lovely food however we were a family with 3 children and we booked after looking at the menu on the website. When we arrived we were told there was a limited menu (which was very limited) and nothing really suitable for children. Food didn’t come out all together

Excellent lunch and wines were first class.

Nice place, decent beer and cheaper than the Olive Tree.

As I am the previous owner, (Sold 2 years ago!!) I replied to all the reviews. There are negative reviews dated 11 months ago which makes it clear I was not in ownership then. Why would the new owner reply to reviews stating negative reviews were obviously left for the previous owners. Bad Manners that's why

Our first time. Charming staff and great food. It's a bit bright would like the lights a little dimmer. We will be back

Had a lovely evening with friends, Good Friday, with a great selection of Tapas. I can appreciate it's a Gin Bar, but suprised that they ran out of Vodka by 9.30pm on a bank holiday weekend.

Only went in for drinks which were great , food that we saw being served has encouraged us to return to eat.Very good atmosphere and busy so book a table as we did.

Expensive Gin, but can't complain about the results - really well constructed drinks, if you like your botanicals. However, the food consists of overpriced Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire puddings with brie chunks in them, and that was the highlight! If you're after a nice selection of Gin's and dont mind some overly loud music then give Ralph's a visit, but avoid being left sorely disappointed and eat elsewhere.

Really friendly place, good selection of drinks especially gins! Food is always tasty. Pleasant clientele so no worries who you invite here.

Very disappointing. My brother and I were having a few drinks but not drunk. My brother made a mistake and asked the guy that runs the place the same question twice. He rudely said it was same as it was an hour ago. He was talking to a regular who was quite intimidating to my brother and I. The owner just seemed to want us out the door the minute the taxi turned up. I guess I will get an arrogant reply but that just sums him up

This delightful Bistro is highly recommmended; we had a great afternoon yesterday at Ralph’s. Fab food and G&Ts and really good attentive service. Our first visit and we really enjoyed it; wished we lived on Hayling as we’d visit every week! We’ll be back soon though.

I’m not sure if the young lad is the new owner but his customer service is far better than what I’ve seen before in Ralph’s. He made sure we were very welcomed. He even brought fruits for my daughter. The new sweet G&T really nice and the beer is good. Hopefully they’ll keep it this way. Good job

All seating area reserved at 5pm, very rudely told we couldn't sit down almost trying to embarrass us in front of the other customers. Even after over 1 hour when we left all tables were still empty. Perhaps try writing a reserved from time on them, it wasn't as if cutlery had to be laid or any real preparation to the tables are required. Would've been easy to say you can sit there until the customers arrive etc. I totally understand why people reserve seats but as a small bar and seating area it might be worth revising how you run that routine. Won't be going back anytime soon. 👎🏻
