Positives: Nice looking bar, eclectic mix of music, friendly staff. Negatives: Sky high pricing - no need for a £6 price tag on a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale - it's Preston, not London!

Bar staff are brilliant, selection of drinks pretty good, sadly it’s London prices but it’s a Station so not a surprise really.

I agree with AlanF209 by far the best bar staff I have countered for a long time especially at a busy railway station. That is the staff on the way up and on the return journey. Yes prices are expensive but any port (or gin and tonic) in a storm.

Quite shocked by the price of beer in this station bar - having just left Edinburgh station the beer here was even more expensive. Bar itself OK, although it really needs to decide whether it's a bar or cafe, as such different decor from one end to the other. Afraid at those prices we won't be back.

I’d just like to make comment that our server today ‘Jayne’ is possibly one of the most approachable and friendly memebers of bar staff I have come across in the past 20 years 1 her enthusiasm, welcome and charm were 2nd to none. If I still worked in industry I would not hesitate to offer this girl a job - good service deserves recognition and she certainly does. Your in for a very warm welcome if you visit and she is on duty.

Called in here for a quick drink on the way back when changing trains from Glasgow to Halifax. I expect station bars to be of a high standard - just think of Stalybridge, Sheffield Taps or West Riding Reception Rooms in Dewsbury to name just 3. I was charged £5.40 for a bottle of low alcohol (3.8%) Brewdog - nothing wrong with the beer, but an extortionate price. In comparison on the same journey I paid £2.19 for an excellent pint of 6.5% strength in a very good bar in central Glasgow ('Spoons) I will not be going in this bar again and I suggest you don't either!

Handy for the platform and toilets, but cold and over £8 for one white wine and not even a star rating ?????

This is a bar inside Preston train station, felt very dreary and the price of food and drink was horrendous, service was slow and overall it was terrible

Use when in Preston shopping and doesn't disappoint. Staff willing to help disabled with their tray and finding a table. Sorry they replaced the café loyalty card with the Sparks card.

Order baked potato with cheese and Burger. Ordered at 2.05 still waiting at 2.30 I advised bar stafff that I had to catch a train at 2.42 - said they would put food in a carry out box which we received at 2.38. I paid £17.00 in total - the potato was very small covered in lettuce, and a small portion of cheese - also burger covered in lettuce.

The staff should be wearing pirates outfits on here!!!! £6.65 for a large glass of Shiraz and £7.45 for a large Pinot Grigio rose - don't bother!! Walk through into the shop and you can buy a bottle for less than the cost of a glass! My mother bought the drinks but if it had been me I'd have told them to keep it!!!!

Waiting for train home after stop over in Preston, I decided to have a glass of wine. Next time I'll not bother. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask. I could've had a proper meal and a pint in the nearby Weatherspoons for what I paid for my 1 glass of wine. Rip Off.

This is a bit of a stranglehold as it is the only bar in Preston railway station. The wifi is free here, not really any other comfort in the layout as it shares the communal seated area with the coffee shop and the newsagents, but the drinks prices are extortionate as you find out to your horror when you place an order. I suppose the only reason for it's trade is desperation to keep warm and watch the television whilst waiting for the train. Other than that it is an AVOID!
