Heroica Lounge in Newham

Estaba celebrando con mi pareja, y en lugar de disfrutar de la experiencia, terminamos sintiéndonos frustrados. La comida era muy buena, y el concepto del autobús es increíble, pero honestamente? El servicio fue terrible. Parecía que el personal estaba ignorando nuestra mesa. Tuve que levantarme y pedir de todo, desde más bebidas hasta el menú. Cada vez que trataba de llamarlos, parecían evitar deliberadamente el contacto visual. Fue realmente decepcionante. Además, todavía cobraban una tarifa de servicio (??? ). ¿Cómo pueden esperar que paguemos por tan mal servicio cuando a nadie parecía importarle si necesitábamos algo? Un miembro del personal incluso estaba parado junto a la puerta en su teléfono en lugar de revisar a los clientes. En general, no volvería. ¿Cuál es el punto de una gran pizza si el resto de la experiencia es horrible?

Eine wirkliche tolle Location. Ist zwar eine übersichtliche Karte aber hier steht die Qualität im Vordergrund. Auch das Thema „Vegan“ wird sehr gut angeboten. Wir Ware zu 6 und sind uns einig, dass „Preis/Leistung“ passt.

La pizza era increíble. Tenía el Parma y estaba perfectamente cocinado. Mencionamos que teníamos poco tiempo y la pizza llegó en menos de cinco minutos.

Gran pequeño restaurante! En un entorno súper lindo en un autobús convertido - en invierno se puede elegir sentarse fuera en las cúpulas o dentro - elegimos dentro para tener la experiencia completa. El servicio fue muy atento y las bebidas y la comida llegaron muy rápido. La pizza era una de las mejores que he probado en el centro de Londres también con un montón de opciones en el menú. No hay tantas opciones de bebidas, pero adivinar que tienen un espacio limitado para almacenarlas y prepararlas.

Antes de esto, la mejor pizza de la historia era un venerado restaurante de pizza del norte de Italia que hacía pizza tradicional de sartén profunda inusual. Sin embargo Heroica voló todo lo demás fuera del agua en mi opinión. Mejor que cualquier pizza británica, americana u otra italiana. Elegí un especial, el "Alba" que resultó ser la segunda mejor pizza de mi vida y me conmovió chicos, por una pizza! También tenía un soberbio entrante melanzane y probé una pizza napoli con anchoas. Toda la comida era excepcional y tenían un par de buenas cervezas de barril también.

Así que gracias que descubrimos esto mientras reservaba la Exposición de F1 en ExCel, hizo el día perfecto, tuve Cotto & Funghi, (Mozzarella, Ham & Mushrooms) siento no haber conseguido una foto que era tan bueno que ya estaba a mitad de camino cuando me acordé! Y un prosecco: - ) La pizza era muy buena, tengo un poco justo para compararlo en todo el mundo y el lugar en sí es encantador, me gustaría volver a visitar en el verano cuando el autobús está abierto. Quizás hacer el teleférico que estábamos viendo desde la ventana.

Encontré este lugar en línea al reservar una noche en el Sunbourn para mi hisbnds 50 cumpleaños. Me pareció genial. No me decepcionó. ¡Qué lugar más divertido para comer pizza! Gran ubicación fácil de encontrar y a unos 5 - 10 minutos de la quemadura de sol. La pizza estaba deliciosa, muy contento de que elegí este lugar, todos disfrutamos.

Pizza fría. Sin servicio. No se muestra a una mesa. Tuvimos que perseguir al personal de espera para tomar nuestra orden. Vino sin verter o incluso sin joder. Mesa no despejada. No se ofrece postre o café. Tampoco ocupado, por lo que el personal de espera debería haber tenido mucho tiempo para dar un poco más de atención a su trabajo. Una de las únicas veces que he pedido que se elimine el cargo por servicio de una factura tuve que ir a buscar...

Deliciosa pizza al horno de piedra junto al teleférico IFS nube! Gran relación calidad-precio, ensaladas súper frescas y ambiente cálido - opciones de asientos interiores y exteriores!

¡Yuk! Parece un tipo de lugar inusual y el restaurante está en el autobús viejo de dos pisos con la cocina abajo y el asiento tanto en la cubierta superior y alrededor del autobús. El personal hace pipí muy agradable pero la peor pizza que se quemó en los bordes pero empapado en el medio.

Terrible food, awful stuff, very rude and extremely loud obnoxious music. Would not recommend at all - not what you want for a nice afternoon out.

I received an email asking for feedback about our recent meal on the Heroica Lounge (bus): Based its Google & Tripadvisor reviews, I booked a table for 4 at this venue as a special treat before we went to see a concert at the O2. Unfortunately the venue, food & customer service didn’t live up to any of the reviews on this occasion. Venue / view: Firstly, if you try calling to book a table or check a booking, they never pick up the phone - I tried calling about 10 times to check our booking and also emailed but never got a reply The staff didn’t smile or try to make us feel welcome in the slightest from the moment we arrived to the moment we left – it felt as though the waiting staff did he absolute minimum and would all have preferred to be somewhere else rather than waiting on tables. The reviews all seem to rave about the river views but the bus is actually behind a floating hotel so the river views (certainly from where I was sitting) were completely obscured. There was no salt, pepper, salad dressing, chilli oil etc on the tables – none of these items were offered to us so my friend had to go downstairs to ask for all of these things There is no toilet on or outside of the bus. I was told we’d have to go into the floating hotel to use their loos! The food was nothing more than mediocre unfortunately. The staff didn’t really seem to give two hoots about us or our custom in all honesty. Their English, on the whole, is very poor and, despite us asking for guidance with the menu (size of starters etc), the waitress did a very bad job of advising us what to order / what sizes the portions were so we felt that we ended up with a disappointing selection of food: Bruschetta: the tomatoes were completely tasteless. The bruschetta was half the size of (but more expensive) than the garlic bread (which was lovely incidentally - the best thing on the menu!) The “Salmone” pizza wasn’t too bad and was covered with smoked salmon, tomatoes & rocket (I couldn’t taste gorgonzola which was meant to be on it too) – I thought it was curious that the waitress didn’t think to mention that this pizza was covered with tomatoes & rocket when we ordered a rocket & tomato salad to accompany it! £7 for a salad of exactly the same ingredients as the salad topping on the pizza we ordered... and no dressing on offer either! The “Friarielli” pizza had no tomato or white base so it was very dry. The sausage looked undercooked and the pizza was covered with what looked like cooked kale (I can only assume that this must be friarielli). My friends thought it was awful and left most of it. One of the waiters came to take another order of (very expensive) drinks (£7 for a single shot of gin with no mixer!) and completely forgot to bring them to us. As we had to leave to go to the concert, I asked the waitress about 10 mins later if he’d forgotten and she said “that’s why I was coming to see what you wanted – his English isn’t good so he didn’t understand you”! Needless to say we decided to leave at that point and get another drink somewhere else a bit more organised! I thought £84 was very pricey for a less than average meal and one drink each. We didn’t complain as a) it’s embarrassing when you’re out with what is supposed to be a special occasion with friends and b) we didn’t want to spoil our special evening. It was only later in the evening that we all discussed the meal between us and realised just how bad we all thought it was. I feel embarrassed to have chosen the venue to my friends in all honesty. If language is a barrier, we all felt that it would be really helpful if some photos could be added to your menu so that customers know what food they’re ordering. All in all, we didn’t enjoy the experience at all and therefore wouldn’t recommend this venue unfortunately – I wish we’d eaten in the O2 tbh – at least there is a good vibe there. A shame really as, with some more love and attention, this remarkably quirky venue could be wonderful. Sorry Heroica Lounge – just letting you know how we felt!

The pizza at Herocia Lounge was great, good sized pizza for a good price. The views of the water were great, and the interior was unique!

We enjoyed great pizza and amazing service from this unique venue. Well done 👍 We attended the WTM and this was our meeting venue for 2 days
