Sunday carvery was good and cheap, staff very cheerful and helpful. Really nice atmosphere in the bar and nice seating area outside.

Best home delivery Sunday roast in West Cumbria, cauliflower cheese is to die for!! Had it a few times and I've never been disappointed yet

Called in for a late lunch , Malcolm greeted us and explained the menue and told us about the specials . Steak and ale pie was delicious, as was the Hawaian Gammon Beer was excellent . Malcolm was very polite and courteous .We will definitely return 2 pints a Coke, 2 excellent meals and change out of £20 😀😃😄

The steak pie is now back to how it was before, in a dish with a puff pastry top. This is how I like it & it was really good & so tasty, hubby had it & enjoyed it too. Even better when it was 2 for £10.

First visit here and looks to have recently been refurbished. Extremely friendly and attentive bar , tenant? guy. Two meals for a £10 and what meals . I had the gammon egg and chips which was excellent and the portion the right size. Real chips included with salad . Wife had the curry was was equally impressed . Best value for money in a long time . Will be back next time in Workington

Pleasantly surprised on a day trip to Workington and we found Henry’s bar and grill, although by a major junction with traffic lights once inside you could have been sat in any pub in any town or city and not just Workington! The bar is extremely clean and family friendly and fresh home cooked food, I’m an extremely fussy eater and it was gorgeous ! If you visit Workington please pop in it’s definitely worth it

Can’t go wrong with 2 meals for £10. Food is lovely & a few good choices. The pie is now a slab pie, which is ok, but not as nice as the pie topper one. Staff(Martin) is really friendly

We went for carvery lunch. We were allowed 2 types of meat, helped ourselves to veg . Food was lovely. Service was good, helpful and friendly.

Came here for the first time in years and for the first time since it’s makeover. First impression was what a great job had been made and it was almost unrecognizable. The food is absolutely amazing value at 2 meals for £10 and the drinks are reasonably priced. The barman who served us drinks and took our order was very friendly and efficient. The meals themselves were plentiful and really tasty. Homemade chips too! The kids meals are great value too with ice cream and a drink included. There were a few tables empty when we went in but filled up a bit more, however there was still a few spare tables, but this place deserves to full after my first impression of the place. Well done everyone involved!

We popped in here for food before heading to the speedway. The portions were enormous, so big that we couldn’t eat them all. The food was tasty and freshly cooked. Very friendly service too.

Lovely lunch here & the bonus was 2 for £10. Meal came served with peas, salad & coleslaw. A few choices so something for everyone. Worth a visit. Nice friendly place

Called in Sunday evening and found only three people in drinking. No food available... "We shut the kitchen to give it a clean" ... Very unconvincing explanation from bar person.
