Good Chinese, vermacelli noodles very good, foo Yung too. Salt n pepper chicken a little dry and crispy, probably go for the chicken breast version next

Perfect take away and amazing fish and chips. The owners are friendly, open to requests and timely. In the past it was hit and miss but now it does get brilliant from me. The Singapore noodles are fantastic.

Been coming here for years i always order before hand and its always ready for when i arrive. Staff are very friendly and the food is always cooked fresh to order and has always been nice and tasty at a decent price. Never tried the fish, if i wanted fish i would go to a proper fish and chips shop not a Chinese. The salt and pepper chicken is lovely. 4 STARS.

This is my favourite Chinese and we have been going here since we were kids. Unfortunately today the prawns tasted very fishy like they were old. I hope this was a once off and it won't happen again.

Not had a bad meal from here yet. Reasonably priced for the size of the portions and best tasting Chinese in the area. Such a shame they don't do delivery - anyone offering Chinese food delivered in Rawtenstall is set to make some serious money! Service is great too :) Recommend the gravy, the wings, crispy shredded chicken or beef, and Singapore noodles. 👍

Bought a special chow mein and other items tonight. Not so sure what was special about the chow mein though! Very small portion of meat and noodles and no prawns to speak of?! Chips were tasty but almost £10 for what we got was very overpriced and we won't be going back.

Best Chinese in the all the Valley. The portions are huge, and the food amazing. If anybody complains about Heng Ju food, they don;t know what Chinese food tastes like.

I won’t ever eat fish but will always get a large battered fish from heng ju. I absolutely cannot stand the fishy smell or taste in food so always avoid fish but when I get a serious craving for omega 3 it’s the only place to go. Yet to have a meal from there that is less than a 10/10

We have eaten from here many times and the food has always been extremely tasty. Our personal faves are Chicken with green peppers in Black bean sauce and Sweet and sour chicken (the sweet and sour sauce is amazing)...... If your in a rush call to order for collection and the food will be waiting for you..

Rang up a few times. Finally got through. She said can I wait a second. 5 minutes later I’m still on hold whilst I can hear her serving away. I put the phone down and drive down. 15 minutes I wait in the takeaway. I asked when will I get served. Soon is her reply. After 5 minutes I left. A joke of a place after it’s been taken over ! Won’t be trying again.

Be careful when you go to Heng Ju, just placed a £53 order and when I took it home I was two meals and a starter short so I rang up and was told to order again and pay for my missing items. Won’t be going again.

Easily the best Chinese takeaway in Rawtenstall, if not Rossendale. All freshly prepared and tastes great. Some of the other Chinese takeaways I've tried in the local area just taste bland. Solid menu choices.

The Chinese food might be okay but don't buy the fried fish. According to the owner it is cheap inferior fish. Before being fried something is sprinkled liberally over the fish, then a handful of some other substance. It is then coated in batter before being fried. The result is a greasy battered fish which has a mushy texture & dreadful taste. Complaining about it is useless as the customer should, apparently, ask if it's cod before ordering it.

My brother bought home fish and chips and oh my god!!! Slimly soggy fish!!!! It smelt rotton!!! When I rang up to complaint and asked if it was easy fish they said it was frozen fish and she didn't believe my it was slimly. Have lost a customer and will never return. Save your money guys.

I understand that this is a Chinese restaurant and not primarily a Fish & Chip shop but our experience of Heng Ju was absolutely terrible. We ordered five sets of fish and chips to take away - so not a small order by any account. On arriving home and dishing out our meals, we found soggy batter and slimy, mushy fish which everyone agreed was pretty inedible. We called up Heng Ju to complain to be told that if we wanted proper fish and chips then we should have gone somewhere else as they only serve ‘poor quality fish’. Because we didn’t ask specifically for cod we should have known this. No apology, just terrible food and awful service.

Disgusting food! Never eaten here before but due to a lack of other places open Easter weekend we gave it a try. Never again! After returning home and hungrily unwrapping our dinner we found such poor quality fish and chips that we had to bin the lot and cook something else. The fish was mushy and tasteless, dripping in oil and sickening. I’ve never eaten worse. Amazed that a restaurant would serve this crap. No refund offered. Avoid at all costs!

Have used this takeaway for years and it has never let me down. I love the fried noodles and sweet and sour chicken, the chow main is served with loads of broccoli which I love and there are plenty of pancakes and veg with the crispy duck. Rest of the family also love it here the salt and pepper squid is fab as is the sweet and sour fish.

Very friendly service and the food is second to none. Have used Heng Ju for more than ten years and couldn't be happier.

I think the owners are now Thai, not Chinese, but the menu is varied and quite extensive. Quick service, tasty food and at reasonable cost.

Utilizamos el tiempo HENG JU! Son la gente que vaya a intentar otro nuevo 'cuando' no es lo que quiere ponerse. Usted siempre sabe que cada plato será sabroso y bien preparado. Que quiera molesta a arriesgarme una mala comida cuando tiene hambre!? No me!

Best Chinese takeaway in Lancashire!

Recientemente ordenados una toma de de Heng Ju. Me pareció muy bonito y fresco, teníamos pollo al curry y arroz frito, pollo dulce y amarga con arroz hervido. nos lo pasamos muy bien y volveremos.

Me encantó la comida era agradable y fresco y agradable personal siempre tienen una sonrisa. lugar precioso para ir a la comida!

Siempre hay un gran servicio y sabrosa comida china de esta comida para llevar. Sólo que no le doy 5 estrellas porque soy pero para encontrar alguna Chow mein que me gusta en esta zona, pero aparte de eso, es un buen lugar para ir.
