One of my favourite cafes. Wonderful roast on Sunday. Breakfast delicious with a large mug of tea. Lovely friendly staff who helped with our very Ill friend .

Great food, good size portions, friendly staff. A little bit more expensive than some cafes in town but it is spacious and there's a calm atmosphere. Well worth stopping here rather than saving a pound or two and sitting in a cramped, crowded cafe especially on a wet Saturday lunchtime.

Some staff need to cheer up. When opening the door for one staff need to smile.

Lovely food served including two different soups and tuna melt panini, good service and great atmosphere.

Very good quality macaroni cheese served with salad and dressing. It was a good sized portion and kept me going all day. Staff friendly and plenty choice for lunch.

Superb cafe just before Brewery Square They are so helpful, obliging and proud of their menu They adore dogs and offer them sausages, if the owner is happy with this of course! From snacks to specialities A, lovely menu, lots of choices and decent portion sizes Well worth a visit! We always go back when on holiday here

Full Breakfast was not cheap and no beans or hash browns. £2 cheaper next door in Vivo lounge. Scrambled eggs a bit bland. Best cappuccino I have had in this country. Very clean and nicely decorated. Young man and girl serving were lovely and very polite.

Very good, just a very young waitress needs a bit more experience, the one who serve tables,blonde curly long hair, but she is nice anyway

Dorchesters finest and a must visit when in Dorchester

Friendly staff, happy to accommodate us with our dog. Not ideal in terms of space, but they were fine with us moving furniture around. Food was fine, fairly basic, but fine.

We are staying nearby and visited Dorchester. We stopped off here on the way back to the car for tea and cake. We had cream teas and a peppermint tea. The staff were very polite and the food was delicious. It was very well presented and tasted lovely. The scones were nice and warm. The toilets were very clean and the whole place was immaculate. I also saw a dog I there so think it's also dog friendly. There's a laminated card on the table explaining how the place came to be and a photo on the wall of the man who put the story in motion. I like things like this and it was nice to be able to visit and support a local business.

What a gem. Nice, Warm, welcoming atmosphere. Lovely menu, great chips. We will be back.

Excellent little cafe in a very nice location. We stopped here for lunch on a rainy Wednesday afternoon and I was blown away by the quality of the food and how quickly it was brought out to us. Top notch service and the owner is really friendly. When I'm next in Dorchester I'll be sure to pop in for a panini and a cuppa. I can't rate this cafe highly enough.

It is always a good place to drop in. Food is good and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Excellent cafe. Plenty of choice and the food is very good and generous for a cafe. Was very impressed. One point of advice would be to hide the 2 toilets behind a bamboo screen or something similar as it's not great that some seats face the toilet doors straight on.

Stopped here on way home from holiday. Soooo glad we did. Food was amazingly good, service was great and plenty of seating inside and out. Disabled toilet and a normal toilet too. Food took a little while to come, but it's all freshly cooked so it's def worth waiting for. You won't be disappointed if you stop for coffee & cake or have a full on hot meal 😋😋😋👍👍👍 we'll be back when passing through again for sure. Very impressed 😁😁😁

I love going in here and everyone knows the owner paul . The staff are very friendly here and we have a good laugh with them . They do lovely coffee and food here . Very clean and tidy and great toilet facilities.

A little overpriced for what it is.

Visited for Brunch with friends. Nice friendly staff. Dog friendly. The meals supplied were very nice and fresh. I originally asked for Full English Breakfast without Egg which would be substituted with two sausages. The waitress came back and said that Sausages were made with Egg! Did not know this so EB was declined by me as I am averse to Egg. I chose a very delicious Smoked Salmon and Crayfish salad. Would definitely recommend this Cafe.

Came in with family at peak lunch hours and atmosphere was great, amazing service by the 3 stunning ladies running the front. Food was superb 👌 ordered the large turkey roast and it really hit the spot! Will definitely be returning in the near future :)

Given pickle sweet. Not chutney. Staff need to be a bit more professional and drop the bad jokes. Burgers were 10 out if 10.

Food is good and in good sized portions. I gave 2 stars as one particular staff, the older lady is a bit hesitant in approaching me. I'm not sure if it has something to do with me being Asian but I ate there 3 times and I felt the negative vibe from this particular staff on those 3 occasions. The younger staff were quite good and hospitable though. My 2nd visit there, I had to call someone to get my order as I was waiting for this older lady staff to come to be but never did. She took 3 other table's orders who came in after myself. On my 3rd and I think will be my last visit there. The same lady charged me extra £2 for my Sunday roast. I paid extra at first but good thing when I went out, I saw their sign which indicated the price of the roast and went back in to ask for a refund. It is sad because this felt like a nice cafe but I did not feel welcomed at all. I felt like someone's eyes where on me the whole time. I went there three times because it is close to my regular hotel and tried it as it might have just been coincidence. But I have verified this after 3 visits.

Come here regularly for breakfast, the scrambled eggs are amazing.. my partner asked for poached eggs (which aren’t on the menu) and when they came out they were perfect. Went for Sunday roast.. just amazing! Well done Paul and team keep up the good work.

This is a cafe I visited with step mother. A delight in many ways, the service was very good with suggestions I followed up.good quality food and the advert for Sunday roasts with options of half portions was a very good idea. I had scrambled eggs with black pudding both of which were locally sourced. Nicely seasoned and presented. Looking forward to mynext visit very soon.

Been in twice in last 3 months and definitely won't go back again as very slow service. First time waited ages for our coffee and second time after 10 to 15 minutes walked out as waitress was stood in kitchen doorway and saw us but never bothered to come over. Appalling as both times only 2 or 3 tables occupied. Plenty of other choice in town.

Nice friendly staff a great stop of, for a chat and coffee & cake

Had a cooked breakfast and it was average for the price. Two hash browns and baked beans were extra (£1.20 each) to the £8.30 price, but were both nice. The two bits of bacon were a bit hard and greasy. The mushrooms and one egg were also greasy, but the egg was nicely done. Only one sausage as well. Not sure we'd go back for cooked breakfast again.

Restaurant prices at a cafe. Came in to get out of the rain. Service was OK, it was clean....and I know it's Dorchester...but the prices! Oh..and can't spell broccoli either!

Partner and I popped in for a quick lunch as had an appointment. Quite busy so apprehensive that we'd get our food in time. Order taken at the table, drinks arrived in a couple of minutes. Food arrived soon after, proper baguette with freshly cooked eggs and sausages, bad I know but lovely, partner had grilled mushrooms with feta. We were finished with time to spare. Friendly staff, clean and tidy. Food was good, coffee was excellent and hot. Really pleased and have to recommend.

Just enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast meal, although we ordered small portions they were huge and very well cooked and presented. The staff were attentive and made us welcome including our dog, the venue is bright and spacious, we will definitely be calling again. Chris and Sandy and , of course Spring .😊

Fanta service and amazing food,

Called in on Sunday. Wanted to order drinks and lunch. Incorrect drinks were brought to us. The replacement drinks took ages. Ended up walking out. (After 20 minutes of waiting!) Staff need managing and training.

Had lovely food 3 of us had something different and we all ate the lot. Can sit inside or there are some tables outside.

What a fabulously friendly place. We called in with our dog for lunch and were offered dining in or out. Good choice of meals and drinks at really reasonable prices. Staff were brilliant, service was quick and the food was great. Asked us if our dog would like some sausage as a treat too. Highly recommended.

Had a full English breakfast, which arrived by lunchtime.

Dog-friendly, very clean and well spaced tables. Light bright and airy interior with tables outside as well. The owner was pleasant and made more fuss of our dog than of us! Good, home cooked food. An ideal place to meet with friends for a relaxed chat and bite to eat. And of course for our canine chums!
