Love this place. Astoundingly good patisserie, great coffee, warm and friendly staff. I usually just pick up cakes to take away, but I had lunch here today - the freshly made lamb shawarma wrap with hummus was delicious with well balanced flavours

Delicious lunch as always! Today we enjoyed the chicken shwarma then red velvet cake and lemon meringue pie washed down with Syrian coffee. Not to forget that we were served by the very friendly and welcoming staff. See you again soon.

When I’m in the area I like to treat myself and come here. Lovely friendly cafe, service always with a smile. Very good coffee and today a delicious pistachio and raspberry slice. Tasty and not too sweet is what I appreciate in a cake. Wish this cafe was in Erskine.

We went here twice during a local visit and enjoyed excellent food and drinks on each occasion. The lamb kebab in a Syrian flat bread was delicious and quite a large portion, as were the chicken wraps. Coffee was very good and for many people the cakes are the highlight. The cafe is very clean and well laid out. There seemed to be a thriving carryout trade. We have also been to their cafe in Rothesay, and it has a very similar offering. The family / staff were all very friendly and efficient. We will most certainly return and visit again. Excellent.

Tasmime and her family have put their mark on the local map with this beautiful and authentic Syrian cafe. My wife and I have been in twice now and we can say nothing but good things! The surroundings are simple, but comfortable, but it’s the food that truly shines. We had a couple of dishes, one of which was the Chicken Shawarma. It came out piping hot, full of vibrantly tasty ingredients, and such succulent chicken. The cafe latte was delicious and served with one of Helmi’s homemade cakes…. this was the part we became speechless (and I don’t exaggerate!). If you want a touch of food heaven on earth, make this your next stop!

My husband ordered Afternoon Tea for five for my birthday to takeaway. There were sandwiches, rolls, wraps and open sandwiches. cakes, eclairs, strawberry tarts, chocolate cakes, carrot cake, baklava, battenburg and more. I can't thank them so much for making my day wonderful. a

An outstanding patisserie in modest surroundings. Probably the best patisserie I have been to. It certainly tops every one. I have been to in Scotland. The cakes are beautiful and of course freshly made every day. An ideal place to buy a dessert for a dinner party! They also serve very good coffee including Syrian coffee.

Found by accident, certainly not the last time I’ll visit when I’m in the area. Hummus wrap was unbelievable, cakes I bought too many but have no regrets. Wonderful service.

We love to come here a few times a week for lunch, cakes and coffee. Service always friendly. Highly recommend trying all the cakes.

The cakes are exquisite and delicious. Every time we head up to my sister's from the south side of Glasgow we make sure we stop by and pick up our pre-ordered shawarma which is so, so, good. The staff are welcoming and friendly as it is in their wonderful sister restaurant on Bute. I would thoroughly recommend.
