Llevo un tiempo viniendo aquí regularmente. No voy a ningún otro sitio ahora. No es una persona amante de la comida... más bien una persona bebible, pero ocasionalmente me acompañan ciertas personas que disfrutan de su comida y la han disfrutado aquí. El personal es fantástico... todos ellos... y los habituales también... todos son amigos. Los arreglaré cuando consiga los euromillones.

Gran pub / restaurante. Ambiente brillante. Fantástico personal de bar y catering. Gran música en vivo. La mejor comida que he probado Salmón Cajún es increíble. por favor visite este maravilloso lugar, no te decepcionará.

My partner & I recently visited Hell Cat Maggies. It was a sunday around 5pm when we decided to go in for a bite to eat, having been once before. We arrived and were told it was a 20 minute wait, which was grand. We were told to either hang at the bar or the lounge area across the restaurant. That was the last time we saw that staff member. 20 mins pass and we get seated, as well as another couple who was waiting to be seated. Our tables were beside each other. The waitress took both tables orders & off she went. 30 mins pass and my partner and I are yet to have our starters but the table beside us was brought their mains, after having finished their starters. I stopped the waitress and asked where our food was. She went to check the computer & returned to say it didn't go through the system. Thats because I suspect she didnt input the information & she realised that when she checked but no accountability to us, just blame the computer. Soured by the experience we left, doubtful that we will return. This was our second visit & our first wasnt much better but at least we got fed then.

Fantastic location, great setting and service was excellent. Was only in for drinks, so can't comment on the food.

Comí aquí en muchas ocasiones y la comida es sabrosa, solo tu típica comida de pub, pero siempre ha sido bueno cuando he visitado. La única queja que tengo sobre este lugar en mi reciente visita es la limpieza, los baños no son buenos en absoluto. ¡Por favor reemplace los asientos del inodoro! ¡Son sombríos! Tampoco había jabón de manos en ninguno de los dispensadores 🤢 después de eso era la suciedad alrededor de los asientos de la ventana (ver imagen).

Lad behind bar was polite. We got one drink and sat a table for 2. Giving a menu and didn't fancy anything then when asked for food order and we said nothing we where asked to leave the table. So rude. Made me feel uncomfortable. We won't be back.

Acabo de llegar a Hell Cat Maggie's. Me senté en una mesa muy agradable con una vista de la ventana del Ayuntamiento. Pasaron 10 minutos y no apareció personal. Decidí buscar un miembro del personal. Vi a una empleada y me acerqué a ella. Esta fue la conversación: Yo... ¿Puedo pedir una copa, por favor? Niamh (personal): No, es sólo servicio de bar. Yo... Si estoy pidiendo comida, ¿puedo pedir una bebida con ella por favor? Niamh: No, no puedes pedir comida ahí arriba (apuntando hacia mi mesa) Niamh entonces procedió a marcharse sin proporcionar más información. ¿Fue este servicio al cliente aceptable? Juzguen ustedes mismos.

Cocktails ok, but remember being better before. Bar staff friendly enough prices bit steep and wine selection rotten !! Atmosphere gave funeral vibes after the guy Shawn played (he was good ) but after went downhill with no music after. Door staff polite and friendly. Don't think we would return. We didn't have food so cannot comment.

No es una buena experiencia. Fui a tomar una copa y decidí comer. La camarera vino y dijo que nos conseguiría algunos menús y luego no regresó. Busqué personal y los encontré a todos charlando y en sus teléfonos. Pedí de nuevo un menú. Otra mesera bastón con menú nos pidió que viniéramos a buscarla cuando estuviéramos listos. Decidimos irnos y nadie se dio cuenta de que nos fuimos.

Tried this on the off chance and was really impressed. Excellent service and WFM for food. Well worth a visit.

Great spot for a casual meal. Food came quickly for a group of 6. Everyone's meal was perfect and all give glowing reviews.

Fuimos a un almuerzo familiar cuando en un día fuera, la comida era muy agradable y todos disfrutamos mucho. Pocas cosas que mencionar, era difícil leer el menú dado lo oscuro que estaba dentro, la gente tenía que usar teléfonos para leer menú. También £ 7. 50 para una salchicha infantil y pocas patatas fritas es un poco mucho, al menos echa un zumo diluido y una cucharada de helado. Aparte de lo negativo la calidad de la comida era muy buena.

Just in for a swift pint with some old chums and found the place good. Can't comment on food as didn't have any but the bar area was very agreeable

Just ok. I'm 36 and found it dark and loud at 4 pm on a Friday. The food was also just ok the location and service were good.

Stopped in for a bite and a drink after riding all the way around o. The city sightseeing bus, before going back to a few places we wanted to visit. Also this is a good location to start that trip if you are looking to do a bus. The bar has great food, awesome serive and lots of cold beers

Good centre of town bar to meet friends. Nice friendly atmosphere and the staff are pretty good. Well situated just at the side of the City Hall.

Visited here before heading to the Opera House for a show. Ordered drinks and food which took a long time to arrive. Once food arrived no one came near us again. We were going to have dessert and another drink but ended up having to ask for the bill and leave as we were running out of time. I ordered a Strawberry Daquiri which wasn't great. Burger was nice but chips were awful, cold and hard, and others thought the same. Atmosphere was nice with live music, and the staff member who took our orders was lovely, but seemed very busy.

Food and cocktail I got were great, and high quality. Servers were friendly, but service was a bit slow. I think they may have been short staffed, as was a busy lunchtime and only seemed to be 2 or 3 people serving. Wouldn't stop me going again.

We’ve went here for years and always had a great time with great service and vibes. There is always a lovely atmosphere and usually there’s a brilliant live musician on. There are lovely views of city hall, toilets aren’t a hike away and the smoking area is always civilised with a good amount of seating. However a large group of us went out on Saturday night (21/9/24) and experienced the most vile customer service by one particular bar man, longish gingery hair. We hadn’t even realised we all felt the same until one person had brought it up and we all realised that he had been horribly rude to each of us. I have never been spoken to so rudely by a member of staff here ever and was actually quite taken aback, I felt really uncomfortable and avoided the bar the rest of the night, sending my partner or friends up instead. What a shame:( We will definitely be back but just steering clear of this bar tender and I suggest whoever reads this to do the same

One of the most traditional pubs in Belfast, a must-see!

Una vez instalado en el servicio y las comidas eran brillantes El sabor era genial y no había quejas de nadie y porciones muy generosas. Recomendaría encarecidamente este lugar de nuevo.

Brilliant for a date night with views of city hall

Really nice restaurant with great food. Originally came here thinking it was owned by the same person as the one in NYC so I knew the food was good, asked the guy and he said it wasn’t owned by the same people but the food was totally amazing and the atmosphere is great, live music playing whilst you eat. Staff were friendly and bouncers were helpful. Definitely recommend checking this restaurant out!

Fab spot 😁 Had some food and a few drinks here and it was lovely, food was amazing, the cauliflower wings were superb as was the monterary chicken! Cocktails were nice would recommend the apple spritzer 😍 Staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nice and chilled there was a bit of live music on which was nice. All in all a great wee place for a chilled lunch/dinner. Will def be back 🤩

Love the place & always will dine when I'm in belfast, but for my son who's 18 with autism, to loud, to hot and I did ask if I could move to a quieter place, was told no, I did point out free tables, again was told no as they were for drinks only

Excellent tasty meal of Cajun Salmon and lemon meringue pie , with drinks reasonably priced ! There was a good ambiance so an enjoyable experience .

I got the Nashville chicken sandwich I’m pretty sure and hollyyy molllyyyyy it was amazing the chicken legit melted in my mouth ! Thought it was abit pricy at the start but you pay for what you get they say 😍😍 highly recommend !!

Thought we would try this for my partners birthday. Asked for a table by window and even tho there were 3 empty were told we couldnt have one. Ordered our meals, waited, and waited, and after nearly 45 mins with other people all getting theirs, another waiter came and asked if we had ordered!!! He said the other waiter had gone on his break and there was no order!! Finally got it, was OK but not brilliant. Then came coffee. Waiter slopped half of it over the table. Instead of apologising he ran off and brought loads of kitchen roll. Never brought a new coffee!! I had asked for mine with milk, when that arrived, guess what no milk and was asked if I wanted milk. A plastic carton of milk was produced and I had to put in the milk myself. Never again!

Had lunch during a bus tour stopover. Had a couple of pints and enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

We tried to get food there two days in a row. The first day they had stopped serving food already. They told us they stopped serving at 20:30. We went back the next day at 19:00, and they'd already stopped serving food. I'm confused. And I don't understand why they stopped serving food while the sun was still up!

We popped in here after a delayed flight into Belfast , absolutely starving. We were quickly shown to a table by a friendly waitress. We ordered drinks and mains and we weren't disappointed. The portions were ample and tasted amazing . In fact we were so impressed we came back the following evening for another meal . On the evening visit Maggie's had a live singer that added a lovely chilled atmosphere, however we were glad of not being seated close to the singer as I think these tables were struggling to hear each other. Another good meal served by friendly waitresses. Would definitely recommend.

Sadly disappointed, we are from NY area, and nowhere is there food like this. Slow service and poor service, and hair in mine as well as my daughter’s food. Sad we wasted the time at this place.

Can't give any stars for the food as none of us ordered any food on this occasion. However I can confirm that the staff are very friendly and professional, all is in order and also that the facilities are well maintained.

Great location opposite city Hall food 10/10 desert to die for sticky toffee pudding 🍮 the best, try out the gammon it was beautiful, loved the staff super friendly .went twice on our visit, guiness good to, did very nice cocktails.

My friend and I both ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwhich. Our food arrived and I noticed what was 2 tiny thin chicken strips in a large ciabatta. This was filled with what seemed like half a tub of coleslaw and a lot of salad which led to it being very soggy. Basically had a coleslaw and salad sandwich. Had we have been checked on during our meal I would have brought this up but not once was I asked if my meal was ok or offered another drink. £16 for 2 chicken strips, a large ciabatta and coleslaw is a joke if you ask me. To be fair the Pinot Grigio was unreal and the chips dead on. The girl that took our order was really nice and polite. It was quite difficult to get anyones attention to get the bill. Working in hospitality myself I understand that staff may be under pressure and need help but seemed to be no manager or supervisor present! Very disappointed.

We came for a family lunch/early dinner before a show in the opera house , I have never had a bad word to say about this place and always enjoyed my experience here however this time I was sadly disappointed … we booked 2weeks in advance and requested a window seat to be told that wasn’t possible now iv worked in the hospitality industry for 15years and if you book 2 weeks in advance it’s not hard to put a note beside the booking to say window seat ! When we arrived we were given menus that were sticky and clearly uncleaned , we then looked through what we thought was an extensive menu with a page offering one course with 2 cocktails for £25pp now you would imagine if this was a pre paid menu that it wouldn’t be in the main menu offered to other customers ? Apparently that whilst this menu is given to you your not allowed to order off it unless you pre book this menu because they need to pre make your order if you order off this yet it’s literally a smaller version of the mains offered on the main menu ? Now I’m not blaming the poor waiter that had to try and explain this ridiculous excuse as it’s clearly not his fault however I would advise you seperate these menus as it makes no sense to give people a menu they can’t avail of! On a more positive note our main courses were lovely however the dessert was dry and the toffee on the sticky toffee was like a bar of rock from Barrie’s in port rush.. all in all we were very disappointed which is sad to say as like I said I have never had a bad experience till now

Was here last night. We got a window table overlooking the City Hall which was very pleasant. The atmosphere was great and staff serving were great. Food service was very slow but it was outstanding when we got it and really well worth the wait. I recommend and would def go back.

Great spot ! We found it busy in the evenings but managed to get a table one day. Service was great, servers were friendly. I had the hot chicken sandwich, my buddy had the chicken and waffles (reccomend) Will be back again for sure provided I can get in !

Great food, decent value and friendly staff. Louisiana chicken sandwich was very tasty and the salt and chilli chicken made a lot of people jealous. Curry is green though, not orange!!

I went for the sirloin steak meal offer. Very pleased, good medium steak with gravy, chips, a couple of battered onion rings and another side, possibly shreded onion or shreded parsnip. ??

Great venue for music, reasonably priced drinks and good food. Here for a long weekend, stumbled on this place for a couple of drinks decided to eat as really good vibe and music. Ordered a selection of starters to share. Well presented food and really tasty. Just had an issue with one dish but our lovely waitress Daisy resolved this with no drama. All the staff very friendly and chatty. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again

Friday 09/02/24 phoned to reserve a table for dinner for 2 people. Staff member who answered phone told me I did not need to book just walk in. I also emailed to book a table but received no reply. Went in on Saturday for table was told no tables as you need to book. Explained what occurred on Friday. Asked to speak to manager. Young girl with couldn’t give a toss attitude. Explained everything. She said staff member should not have told me I didn’t need to book. I showed her the email I sent requesting to book table. I said I got no reply. When I told her I would be putting this on social media she replied do what you want. I then received email 3O mins later later saying sorry. It if you want to book again fone or email in advance. Real shambles. Pity as it’s a nice bar and atmosphere but the manager and lack of knowledge from some members of staff severely let it down 😡

Hellcat Maggies has an interesting back story & cool Irish American menu. We'd been turned away the previous evening as they were full. The evening atmosphere was wonderful, and live music fantastic. There didn't seem to be a booking system, or any chance of getting a table later in the evening, so we opted to return for lunch the following day. Unfortunately the atmosphere was slightly dead during the day - the music sombre, staff were distracted, cleaning (despite having been open several hours) and seemed exhausted - I felt sorry for them & hope management are able to review rotas/ staffing levels! It put a slight dampener on the experience but we were impressed by the food, drinks & views. We had Guinness, Steak, and chicken & waffles. The steak was extremely good. Perfectly cooked, great sauce & chips. The chicken & waffles had far too much BBQ sauce on, which overpowered the dish. However, where not 'oversauced' the chicken was very tasty, well cooked and worked well with the chilli, waffles & bacon. I'd like to return in an evening, to try some other items on the menu and enjoy the great view again. Overall, a 3.5-4 star experience, with potential.

A waitress came to our table, suggested that we give back the salt shaker whilst we were enjoying tequila. When we didn’t let go of it she became, what seemed, visibly aggressively and said “just leave it” whilst gripping it. The same waitress also suggested we were dirtying the cutlery that was on the table before we had arrived. She then collected it and then implied that we were making more work for as it seemed she would have to rewash it.

Popped in for lunch on a cold, rainy December day. Ordered the stew looking for something hearty to warm us up. Stew came out luke warm, we asked for it to be reheated and it came back out to us without an apology or even to check if it was now to our liking. It was barely hotter at all. Barely steam coming off it. I expect better when paying £16 for a plate of stew.

Food amazing so far. Here for a Christmas party and venue is lively and a good atmosphere all round. A lot of people here but service could be a little quicker although I understand its Christmas time.

Attended here for Christmas Dinner which was 35 for 3 courses. The food was good, a little over seasoned on the vegetables, and small portions but presentation was good and service was great! The music was a little too loud, we had a playlist blasting and live music between breaks made it really hard to enjoy dinner.

Had lunch today, great service,staff very friendly and efficient. Huge portions of food (one portion would have fed two people 😁) well cooked and very tasty and decent price. Possibly might need some small lights over tables as quite dark interior and several people were using light on phone to read the menu including us. Also possibly better signage for toilets as every person had to be directed or took wrong turn. Apart from this it was a very enjoyable visit and hopefully will call in again.

Took ages for our food to arrive. They were busy and short staffed. Decor very dark. The childrens chicken gougons arrived and looked like chicken fillets. The kids wouldn't eat them . The waiter said we had to pay for them anyway and was extremely rude. The manager was lovely and sorted out the problem. Wouldn't visit again or recommend. We had potatoes skins and they were edible just about.

Used to love it in here. But boncer lady a few months back refused to let me in even with my I.D - because I'm 20 years old. And told me I had to be 21 to enter. Eventhough I had been going here for Xmas nights out for the past 2 YEARS. (Since I was 18)... anyways I spent like 100 quid in food and drinks elsewhere that night 😊

Staff was the friendliest you would ever hope to encounter, food and atmosphere was lovely as well. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked and tadted excellent. Only fault would be there bot being enough tartar sauce to the side. All in all a wonderful experience.

Little bit of advice for the young lady serving at the bar. If a customer tells you that his soft drink is flat, don’t dip a straw in it and say “it tastes fine to me” instead, just do your job and replace it. Like anyone would be dishonest about a drink being flat, when there was literally one sip out of it. Mind boggling.

Looking for somewhere to eat & came across this restaurant. The food was delicious, staff very friendly, would definitely visit again if we come back to Belfast.
