Top quality fish and chips with a good portion size. The batter was light and crispy, not too thick. Perfectly cooked Haddock fish with great flavour. Chips were cooked in proper dripping oil and really tasty. The owners are lovely people and very welcoming providing a great service. Always chatty and very friendly with good sense of humour. Dexter my Golden Lab got a free jumbo sausage and was well impressed. Woof, woof ! Thanks for a great meal and we will be back soon for some more !

Delicious food, fantastic portion sizes and the prices are great. Never bypass this establishment, very proficient and friendly staff.

Just finished a fish supper from here with kids having a sausage supper each. I have to say that they were absolutely delicious. The chips were cooked just right, just the right colour. The haddock was also cooked to perfection with a lovely crispy batter and really fresh white haddock. The staff were really friendly too. Being a visitor from England, I was a bit confused with the correct terminology regarding ordering the supper as we don’t have this in our locality but this was explained to me with plenty of humour. So thank you Hector’s 2 Go. You provided us with lots of humour and a delicious evening meal. If we find ourselves in the area again, we’ll definitely be back.

Phenomenal gluten free, corn free, dairy free chicken chunks and chips! Would eat again. Excellent views of the sea to admire while you eat nearby.

Très bon fish and chips. Les portions sont tellement copieuses qu’on peut facilement y manger à 2. Accueil très sympa et prix correct. Je recommande cet endroit qui au passage est l’un des rares à être encore ouvert après 19h.

Had fish and chips from here and they were very good. Coming from Yorkshire (the home of the best fish and chips) these nearly matched for quality and taste.

Had an amazing fish and chips here , best in Kyle by far . Would recommend to anyone as the fish is so fresh and tasty. I had tried down at one near the water but the fish was not very fresh as you can tell by the colour and smell. If in area again would certainly return. Very friendly staff and had a good laugh while waiting for fish to be cooked. Thanks Hector

Es gibt im Ort im Prinzip nur ein Restaurant: das Waterside, das aber nur an einigen Tagen geöffnet ist. Hectors 2 Go ist ein super Imbiss mit sehr gutem Fish (and Chips). Sehr nett und preiswert. Kein Alkohol, nur Softdrinks. Eis gibt es auch und laut Karte auch Burger. Vor allem hat es abends auch bis nach 20.00 geöffnet.

Fab fish n chips, washed down with a can of Irn Bru… when in Rome! Glad we tried this spot (recommended to us by our local hotelier) as it did not disappoint and the views with which to enjoy said noshings were just amazing too!

We had a takeaway from here twice during our trip to Skye. We really enjoyed the fish & chips here, they were superb!!! We also loved the beef burger. The pizzas and southern fried chicken were decent. They also have coffee and ice creams. This place is a good choice for a takeout at a convenient location.

Pedimos una hamburguesa súper cheese&bacon, chips y una chicken burguer, una Coca-Cola 17,50£, calidad/precio nos pareció muy acertado. No había gente y nos entregaron el pedido en 5 minutos, fue muy rápido. Cantidad abundante de patatas, la hamburguesa estaba bien cocinada, el pan era tipo brioche con un toque dulce, a nosotros nos gustó mucho. El chico que nos atendió fue muy agradable. Lo único negativo es que te cobraban la salsas aparte, me pareció un poco extraño, pero sin problema.

We visited as part of a coach group today as any other food places were shut (due to the Bank Holiday?) so it was very busy. The cappuccino's were gorgeous and the food was plentiful and delicious. We were a party of 4 adults and has cheeseburger times 2, plain hamburger times 1 and a jacket potato. The chips were large chunky crispy chips that were just so tasty, especially on a really cold and damp day, that sent our taste buds to heaven. The meals had a nice little side salad as well. Overall, definitely value for the money.

The staff were very helpful with a great service. The food was cooked to order and very tasty. Only didn’t give 5 stars because the chip portions were too big for us to eat so we ended up having to throw some away. If you are a big eater I guess this won’t be a problem.

Popped in the other night and had a really nice gluten free fish supper, wish I'd known sooner you did gluten free! Way better than that place in broadford where you get verbally abused by the staff!

Food is great, trouble is they never seem to get an order exactly right. Battered sausage when asked for plain, salad on burgers when asked for none. Chips are really nice though.

Called in on a wet and cold June day and had a great serving of fish and chips! Cooked fresh they were hot and crispy! The batter on the fish was light and dry! Although fish and chips is not cheap you do feel as though you get value for money! Food options on Kyle are limited, but this and the Fisherman's Hut for sandwiches are two good places to go!

Despite a very long wait, mainly due to an accident on the road between Broadford and Kyelakin, food was delicious. Always friendly and attentive staff, cannot fault the place!

Gluten Free Fish & Chips, so pleased to see another Chip Shop offering this. Perfect End to a week away on Skye. I try to support anyone offering this as it’s such a treat to be able to have Proper Fish & Chips, which not only safe to eat but tasty. Well Done Hectors 2 Go much appreciated by me and I am sure it will be by people passing through too.

Best fish and chip shop I’ve been too in a very very long time, not only did hector stay open late to cook us a last minute order the food was simply delicious. Fish perfectly cooked and fresh. Chips piping hot. A fresh chicken burger. A perfect selection. If your passing through to Skye in your camper this is the perfect stop.

Disappointed Prompt service and cooked from fresh, but... the oil must have been really old as it ruined what was could have been a tasty batter on my Single fish. Had I not driven away before I opened the box I would have gone back for a refund. The number of locals and the good reviews above suggest they can do better.

A cracking wee chippy with friendly service, beautiful fresh fish with crisp tasty batter and delicious chips. Was a pleasure to be served by the owner Hector who was helpful and very friendly and the staff were all lovely.

Excellent fish and chips a scampi. Arriving at 8.50 they were more than happy to make our food despite having been ready to close. Totally recommend.

I come from a town full of fish and chip shops and honestly this was the best fish supper I've had in a LONG time. Proper nice breaded fish and great batter too.The chips are excellent. Proper good.

Awful place not one to leave reviews but this was awful waited a shocking amount of time for a takeaway chippy only thing we were thinking was well it must be fresh if the wait is this long was loosing the will to live waiting outside! How wrong were we got back to our cabin hungry and disappointed when we seen it chicken supper looked and tasted like it had been reheated dry and hard can't believe they think thats acceptable to sell kebab was awful and soggy and missing my chippy chips seeing my boyfriends I knew I wasn't missing anything you think the location it would be a proper chippy wrong save your money and time and go elsewhere!

Burgers awful and pizzas the sort of thing you can buy from supermarket. Fish was nice. Very over priced for quality that you get.

If you like kebab meat done in the microwave then this is the place for you!! Couldn’t believe it when I asked and he confirmed it! Also was confused at the fact they don’t use local fish !

Very poor quality food,, mushy fish ( inedible) Chips like they were fried 2 days ago then heated in microwave.. If it wasn't a haf hour drive I would have took them back and demanded my money back. Very disappointing

I'm in shock, never eating that bad pizza ,like defrosted from some shop ,like stone ,meat chicken very untasty, cheese like from powder, ordered haggis single charge me for double, also prices too highly, half my order I'm put to bin, never more orders.

Fish was real nice. Chips were really good. The Chicken Pakora however, was just southern fried chicken strips dipped in pakora batter then fried... not so nice.

Can't comment of the food but the service was abysmal having travelled several hundred miles to be refused service because we arrived ten minutes before closing but would have happily taken something that could quickly be heated. As a consequence of their failure we boycott their establishment. **Interesting to read Hector's response but I standby my review as it is factual, unfortunately Hector didn't take care to read and understand what I had written had he done so he would have noted there was no date of visit and it occurred during my last visit to the area, I visit fairly regularly. Far from being a keyboard warrior as he suggests I believe in fairness and in fairness he should apologise to those staff I assume he ripped into**

Richtig, richtig leckere Fish&Chips! Grosse Portionen. Ich habe extra knusprig bestellt und so bekam ich es auch. Sehr freundliches Personal. Ein Punkt Abzug, weil das Lokal nicht so gepflegt wirkte.

Frites pas assez cuites, molles et à peine réchauffées à la friteuse, et bien trop de sel ! On avait faim donc on a mangé sans rechigner. Mais c’est pas le restaurant de l’année ;)

We waited more than 20 minutes to eat fish and chips, very greasy, with no taste. While we were waiting for the order, the staff served local friend quickly. Do not go there if you like good food.

What has happened to Hectors chip shop kyle of Loch alsh, been coming there for years, and always enjoyed their food. My last vist I had to wait ages while 2 teenage boys microwaved The peas and gravy, it was obvious they hadnt anyfood freshly cooked. On eating the food, well it was awful, peas where over microwaved until the all the moisture had gone, the chips where under cooked and cold and soggy. wasted my money on over priced microwaved food. Wont be going their ever again, sooner go hungry.
