Heathrow Fish and Chips in Hillingdon

Wasn’t expecting to have some of the best doner I’ve ever had at a place by the airport but man was it good. Will be coming back if I’m ever at an airport hotel again.

Food was tasty and service was great!

Decided against hotel fare (and hotel prices). This place was a 10 min walk from the hotel. Bought 2 mixed kebabs with chips (£10.50 each) - had as a takeaway, though there are seats in the shop. Enjoyed them a lot - though we do get its not everyone's choice. They were massive! They had lots of takeaway choices: kebabs, pie, burgers, chips, etx Added bonus: the off licence next door had deals on beer, so we had 4 drinks for £8 - the price of one pint in the hotel 😶

Awful customer service over the phone

Excellent food cooked on a charcoal grill. Food quality way over German Doner Kebab and many other similar places. I have start eating to this place in September 2023 and I am still coming here 2-3 times a week. Congrats!

Please visit this restaurant when you drop by heathrow airport the next time. I had a great time and meal there. My friend and I were looking for a dinner place near heathrow airport as we had a one night stay in the airport’s hotel for convenience due to our early flight the next day. We found this restaurant by chance through google and we were so glad we chose the place. The food were decent good but the service made it a 6/5 experience. There was a staff who was very friendly (some might be taken aback but please he’s just being nice) and was just very approachable. He made our time there very enjoyable. And he also respected our time during the meal. He only approached us before and after meal so you don’t have to worry him bugging you during the meal. Plus, I am not a muslim and I still enjoyed the halal meal. I had the chicken burger. It was right off the stove, perfect for a cold 3 degree weather. Honestly, just give this restaurant a try. I’ll try to come back again some day.

I don't eat out much but this is my go to place herel their grilled chicken dish is divine.. Massively Enjoy it everytime..

This is the best place on the Bath Road if you’re staying at the airport. The food is freshly cooked and very tasty! Great service and good value.

I'm staying at the Hyatt Place Heathrow and at the time I arrived into England and was looking for food, the options were meager at the hotel. There were two restaurants open within walking distance at the time, and this was one of them. I chose this place because the reviews from the other place were not good at all (and I can get that food on just about every corner in SF where I live). I'm so glad I did choose this place. Friendly, charming, attentive staff and delicious food! I asked what's good: "Everything!" (Good answer!) What should I try? "How about this and this. You want vegetables? You want chips? Sauce? Drink? Eat in or take away? Cash only is ok?" Efficient but quality food. And again: SO FRIENDLY! Freshly grilled kabobs on a charcoal grill. Takes some time to cook, but well worth it! And a steal: what I had would've cost double what I paid where I live. Thank you so much for the delicious food and great hospitality!

Meet quality ok. But I got wrap and them not have a clue how to roll wrap. After opening paper everything fall out out of it.

I ask tham to do lamb shish with chips only they say no so rude

I am a kebab lover and connoisseur and have had many from this area and afar. The food from Istanbul Grill is genuinely the best authentic Turkish food I have tasted in the UK. The meat is always tender and flavoursome and the staff friendly and helpful. Pay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Best takeaway in the area!! We went on a business trip and stayed at Thistle hotel nearby for a week, and this is the only place we recommend to go and eat! Having this takeaway nearby to us and being halal was the thing that saved our trip! We tried different food each time, burger and chips, donner kebab and even the famous fish and chips and everything was spot on, tasty and delicious! The takeaway is clean and tidy with tables inside to dine in and eat fresh. The staff were very polite and friendly and always smiling!! Lovely place, absolutely recommend to everyone! We will definitely be returning!!

A short walk from the Sheraton Heathrow, where the meals are considerably cheaper than the hotel. I've been here two times so far and I've enjoyed the fish-n-chips, as it seemed to be an authentic English meal. They have over amazing food too, like kabobs. The staff is very friendly and had asked me how my touring of London was going, on my second trip there. Highly recommended...

Expensive for 1 kebab 1 chips and 1 salat (1 slice of tomato 1 slice cucumber plenti onion and some leaves) a nd 1 drink 20 pound

The best kebab shop in the area. They use charcoal to grill the food. Family run business with very friendly staff. Highly recommended and must have if you are around the area. Unfortunately they don't take card payments. They deliver locally for a small charge.

best Kebab I ate in the world IMHO. I ate from Australia and Denmark and many other countries I had been traveled to. This one has the best sauce(garlic) The lamb doner I ate is my favorite though. The texture is so nice and soft. The flavour is not too salty for me. Eat together with salad and Nan is the perfect combination. I highly recommend this shop. It would be better if the shop always accepting credit card. I don't like changing UK pound just to eat THIS Kebab because they don't want to accept credit card.

If you are looking for an extremely affordable meal, Istanbul Grill will not disappoint. Excellent selection of halal meat dishes...kebabs,doners, burgers and fish n chips. More of a take away but some tables for dine-in also. We were very satisfied and absolutely would return. Tasha keuhr!! 🙂

Amazing little chip shop that unusually mixes kebabs with real chips and a traditional English chippy. Freshly cooked at a high temperature to avoid grease and nice and crispy. We had jumbo sausage in batter too. Excellent value and some tables to eat in too. And all clean and tidy. Just a few minutes walk from the Thistle and Premier Inn.

Excellent food and reasonably priced. My 2nd visit there and there will be more. I believe they have a new name called Istanbul Fish and Chips. Not exactly sure. Very plane inside and I don't think they serve alcohol but the food is really great. I had the fish and chips and my son had a kebob. Many locals in and out while we were there.

My last stop in London, beside LHR Airport! I tried British national food "Fish& Chips" & Also Turkish national food "Shish kebabs". Way better than Hotel Restaurants'. Delicious food, super friendly staff, walking distance to hotels area. Bon appetite 😉

Clean. Nice place to get freshly cooked shawarma or kebabs. Shawarma was tasty. The restaurant person was kind enough to serve warm tea as well.

K jídlu automaticky přidali trochu zelného salátu, který podle mě byl zajímavější volbou než tradiční hrášek. Obsluha byla rychlá a příjemná.

Enjoyed the chicken and lamb kababs. A small place, but the continuous crowded tables, gives credence to how tasty the food is. Authentically Turkish.

I really loved the food. I bought a half pounder meal and it tasted really good with chips. Only problem is I felt it was a bit too expensive at £7.40. Other than that great service, friendly staff and nice atmosphere inside the building.

The doner kebab and chips from this place is very delicious and juicy, always pop by when I’m in the area. Customer service is friendly and attentive, definitely worth checking out, if you’re in the area.

Had an overnight layover and walked to this grill and it was delicious. Great selection and reasonable prices. I got the mixed kebab and there was soooo much meat. The Mrs got a chicken kebab and she loved it. Highly recommended and a nice little walk from the hotel.

Food (8/10): Not the best Turkish food I've had, but being possibly the only Turkish food in the area, its decent. The food seems a bit bland by Turkish standards however it's still tasty. The garlic and chilli sauce complement the food well. I had the chicken shish, the portion was decent for small however it felt a little overpriced at almost £7. For my appetite it was fine. Salad portion is generous too. Next time I would ask them to cook the chicken well done. It tasted just a tad bit rubbery. Very minor point but it was cooked fine. The food here is Halal. Price (Avg per head): £7-10 depending on the side orders (drink and chips). Chips are expensive for the portion size. Almost £3 and they are apparently large. In comparison, they are more like small to medium. Service (10/10): Very nice friendly staff. Food turnaround time was good. Around 10 minutes. They have been under new management since the beginning of 2019. Atmosphere/ Occasion: Medium sized takeaway/ restaurant. Nice clean. Probably room enough for about 40 people, give or take. Worst thing is there are severe parking restrictions here until 10pm. You can only park behind the restaurant in 3 bays. Best to do a phone order and turn up to just quickly pick up the food. The parking wardens do the rounds frequently near the Airport.

Ordered large doner kebab, large portion of meat, but doner kebab meat was not that good, did look and taste old, will never go back here, and my kebab was made like in 20 seconds that's why it was no fresh.

Brilliant. Having just got back Friday l Greece it wasn't the same flavours or bread etc but the lamb was delicious. The chicken shish was also fantastic and the staff were very friendly.

Absolutely the very best Chicken shish kebab I have EVER had.The salad,bread,and of course the ultimate chilli sauce is really second to none.Highly recommended.

We have become regulars for this place. This has to be the best place for doner kebab and burgers. The portions and service are outstanding and the quality of the food is always perfect. Even the salad is fresh and their homemade garlic sauce and chilli sauce are better than any other kebab shop. A guy named Hassan is the man to speak to for perfection of a kebab or burger. It uesd to be Constinople grill, now irs Istanbul grill, not Constinople grill. So if you have a date at Constinople grill, she'll be waiting in Instanbul grill.

Açıkçası girerken beklentim pek yüksek değildi ancak Adana kebabı yedikten sonra çok şaşırdım,lezzet harikaydı ve dahası fiyatları gayet uygundu adana kebap+papates cips+cola 9,5 pound. Ayrıca daha uygun fiyata menülerde var(resimde görüldüğü üzere). Sahibi Hasan bey ve çalışan diğer Hasan bey çok güzel işletmecilik yapiyorlar. Yemekten sonra dur bide san Türk çayı vereyim diyen teyzeyi de unutmayalım. Kesinlikle tavsiye edilir👍👍👍
