Hawker Bar London Luton Airport in Luton

Visited on my own, seems to be a seat yourself system and after asking a member of staff discovered that it’s order at bar or with app. Lots of the tables were dirty but sat down anyway thinking it would be cleaned at some point. Visited by various staff members but they didn’t think to clean it. MSN next to me went to the bar to collect blue toll and cleaned his own table. Ordered a toastie and an Aperol spritz, noting that the app estimated that food would take 30mins which was fine with me. The food arrived in 10 minutes and didn’t look great, not even bothered to cut in half and the side salad was basically just a garnish. My drink did not arrive before the food so I asked for it and it was brought. I asked asked for some more salad which was kindly provided. The toastie itself was very dry, especially considering it contained béchamel, cheese and aioli. Mayo would have helped but I wasn’t asked if I’d like any sauces and no one checked how the food was. The bill was £25 for a toastie and a aperol spritz, including tip which is terrible value. The whole place had a CBA attitude to food and service, re training potentially required to improve food and service quality. Would not visit again until improvements are made.

Terrible service , disorganised system , staff can’t be bothered and food mediocre at best and expensive - there is a queue that people stand in yet staff still take walk in people before queue - staff don’t tell you that you have to order at bar or on app - when we realised we ordered on app - granola coffee beer and sausage sandwich - beer took 25 minutes ; the food about 40 and had to prompt for coffee - how does a black coffee take 50 minutes - staff when told really couldn’t care less - the place looks classy it’s not it’s really awful and i’ll never return

Looked after very well by Rosheedat. Went the extra mile with my drink. Reasonable Caesar Salad - would have been nice to have some bread along-side but the dressing was good.

Ordered Eggs Benedict and I’ve got a barely toasted bread and two overcooked hard egg on a top with some sort of curry like sauce…It was uneatable …I paid and left hungry, it was horrible..AVOID !!!!!!

Ze hebben een buitenterras dus dat is fijn als je buiten wil zijn. Er zijn ligstoelen. Je moet de bestelling bij de bar doen. Personeel is vriendelijk. Eten is prima. Flatbread is helaas een dikke pizza bodem. Dus die raden wij niet aan. Top is dat er overal calorieën bij staan.
