Pret a Manger in Luton

Luton Pret , you charge £5.50 per sandwich , the baguette was old and dry… We made an effort to walk all the way to new Pret by gate 7. What did happen to your standards? I spoke with the Supervisor , but I have just shook his shoulders and ignored me!!!!

The worst Americano I've had in a long time, no service at all

Poorly made coffee. Asked for latte and they gave me cappuccino. They need barista training. Will be avoiding this place in the future

Had a 6 hour lay over in Luton Airport and ended up getting food from here. I was served by a guy name Karol who was friendly and had great customer service despite his early in the morning it was. Karol is a solid dude give this man a raise

I had to spend four hours in Luton Airport late at night into the early morning. Pret was open all night, it was comfortable and clean, the person serving was helpful and friendly and I was very grateful to be able to sit there passing time until I could make my connection. Additionally, the Luton Airport free wifi was strong and reliable in this location.

The food at pret is a stable however what differentiates a branch from another in my opinion is the service and the cleanliness and in luton both are horrible.

Stale sandwich, an absolute tip - not maintained, people not buying Pret taking up seats and sprawling their Burger King wrappers around. Just not good enough. Pret has a reputation for fresh food and you pay for that. Not in this place. As a postscript - and you’ll see from the reply from the so called pret ‘customer services’ team - when I contacted them they weren’t interested in investigating. No apology, no action. A waste of my time so in future I won’t be wasting my time and money on this chain and instead will enjoy spending my time and money at Costa and the other fine establishments that look after their customers!

Dirty tables. When offered to clean myself was told to go and get tissue from the counter instead of the "cleaner" girl.

This location has completely stopped making filter coffee, which was the reason I used to buy a drink from Pret. Filter coffee was rightly priced as other branded outlets charge obnoxious amount of money for a cuppa. This location had coffee filters but the lady at counter said they have stopped making them, usually pret offer americano for the same price if they have run out of normal coffee. Not visiting any more prets from now on.. Bye bye pret

I asked for a coffee that would wake me up after a long journey. What received was claimed to be an Americano with milk. It was actually the worst weakest poor tasting coffee I have ever bought. Basically it looks like the place is busy so the staff are just rushing to fill orders with very little attention to quality. Don't drink a coffee here is my advice.

One of the older clerks here was so cold that she refused to show me my luggage when I went out to use the bathroom, and my seat was next to their front desk There is no business in the coffee shop at four or five in the morning, many people may have ordered something here at midnight last night to use as a transit stop, but the staff woke up those passengers who did not have a good rest, I think it is a lack of grace as an airport coffee shop

Well the prices are different at the counter and your final payment if you stay on their restaurant. Bad attitude. By the way the Horseradish sandwich is really bad. Theguy explained me that i got the VIP treatment and I payed for 2 sandwiches, 1 coffee and 1 water 22 pounds

Very mindful , very demure, they have some comfy ahh couches to "sit" on 👀 no sleeping tho , also they got charging ports conveniently located for passengers to charge devices while they wait 16+ hrs for another ryanair flight , thanks ryanair 🥰♥️ , on God recomend the tropical green tea , very very nice like mush

Don’t buy here until they make the baguettes a normal size again! They are taking the mick—expensive, and the food gets smaller and smaller every time.

Rude server who literally threw a bag down on the counter when I asked for one for the sandwiches I'd purchased.

If I could rate it a -100 I would! As a manager myself I could not believe the lack of customer service from the older woman. My friend and I paid for food and came to the seating area to wait for our flight. My friend had gone to sleep since we haven’t had any sleep in the last 48 hours. She came over to my friend multiple times shouting at her and targeting her for sleeping when the majority off customer’s inside were asleep as this was 2:30 am. I was watching over my friend while she slept and this lady came over and started screaming at her while she was asleep scaring the life out of myself who was awake! As well as making my friend jump from her sleep. When I told her she should’ve asked me to wake her instead off screaming she started to argue back with so much attitude. I have NEVER seen such bad management. She clearly does not want to be working here she had a stinking attitude all day. It’s clearly not the first time she’s been complained about and it should be taken seriously. This is located in an airport! Should be giving good customer service. There’s a way of talking to people and asking people to get up and that was beyond disrespectful. I shall be taking this further as I do think this woman needs to be dealt with. Considering I spend a considerable amount of money here (as well as my friend) the least we can get is good service and respect. Disappointed and angry that we har to deal with this over 30 minutes off sleep. She isn’t wearing uniform, no name badge, hair is out and she needs basic customer service training Her name is Marzena

Customer service is not great. Very unorganised. Also, if you ask for an extra napkin polite, you will receive a rude replay "I already give you 2"... Is there a limit on napkins?

Delicious coffee, warm snacks and very nice Polish service. I recommend using it.

Back again. Early flight and the airport is super quiet. Nice friendly staff at Pret and the 99p filter coffee is a winner. Cheapest beverage in the airport. With or without milk. Theres also a complimentry water fountain and cups. See you all next month

Customer can teach staff here about rules of queuing. Employees need serious customer service training.

Don't stay open when flights are delayed - the nice chap at Starbucks is the only hope on that front. But the biggest problem with Pret it is HUGELY OVERPRICED. Since COVID they have become very greedy. Nice sandwich occasionally but not really made on site. And at that price should be gold plated

I have bought here before when at the airport but the staff was always annoying. Getting ignored, serving people in the wrong order, slooooow, badly done drinks and so on. However today in the morning there was new(?) staff especially a red haired girl and all of a sudden everything was running smoothly, no waiting even though it was pretty busy, got what was asked for, drink was tasty, even got a special request with a smile. Hope you pay these people well and keep them!

1 pound for filter coffee was decent and iced matcha was nice as well, but what made the experience 5 stars was the incredible kindness of Fiza. Kindest barista ever !

£8.95 for a baguette? Really? That’s a huge, unjustified markup, over London prices. The “Choc bar” was stale, and your tables filthy. Waaay below usual Pret standards.

The amount of smoked salmon in the sandwich I got is ridiculously small, you pay £4 for a baguette and egg apparently…

I recently visited Pret Luton and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The customer service was terrible—it felt like the staff didn’t want to be there and were just going through the motions. On top of that, the floors and tables were filthy, making the entire place feel unwelcoming and unhygienic. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. There are much better options out there.

The play is absolutely fly infested. Cleanliness levels are sub par which doesn’t help, crumbs on the floor, tuna mayo on the walls?

I open the bag with my takeaway salad inside to find I had been given twenty one napkins! Waste much?

Whenever I travel in London Luton airport, I always go to the pret a manger because the food is very good.

My comment is itended for the Pret a Manger AFTER THE SECURITY, on tge departures. I am writing this review due to the sad and discriminating experience I have just been served with in Pret a Manger. Around 2.45pm on the 23/07/2024 I have left a coffe and a 1 liter bottle (which I am refilling constantly because of the large quantities of water I need) on a table whilist had a run of exactly not even 3 minutes to toilet. A staff has cleared the table straight away. The thing is that when I told to one of the staf what has happened she went to the managet and told him. AND THEN MANAGER OFFER TO LOOK IN TO THE RUBBISH FOR MY WATER BOTTLE?????????????? Like I would take it from rubbish?????? He had a very disrespectful and SAD approach towards my dissapointed feeling I just told him what was and didn't even tried to say a word more.. because someone who offers me to look in to the rubbish???!??! What should I say to him? It made me cry. He didn't even had a courtesy to say apologies. I have then went to purchase a new water and coffe for an extra £10. In another outlet. Not to mention as when the staff cleared my drinks someone went to sit straight away and when I came my bag was moved by people that itended to sit. Anyways. So disappointed by the HUMANS with NO HUMANITY completely. It has made me truly sad and dissapointed in general. Your """"mqnager""""" "deserves a raise" for sure.. Horrible.

My flight was delayed, and I had to stay overnight at the airport. I received a food voucher, which I wanted to use at Pret and Manger, but unfortunately, it showed as already used even though it wasn't. Despite this issue, the staff were fantastic and generously provided me with drinks and food for free. I am so grateful for their kindness and assistance. Thank you! ❤️

Atmosphere was good, it was a quiet Sunday morning. The eating area was disgusting, we ended up sitting out in the seating area outside the shops as it was so dirty on the floor, chairs and table we were at. Waited too long for a skinny cappuccino and after being fed up of waiting I asked if they were making my coffee and they said there was no skinny cappuccino ordered. After waiting longer for them to sort out finding out who took my £16 order they then made it and I finally sat down in the filthy seating area to eat my now cold breakfast bap. Better value and service at Burger King across the way folks.

The service was quick. But the quality of the almond pastry and the painaurasin was awful one was qushed the other was not baking correctly. I use pret all the time and never come across such bad pasties. When I took back the almond pastry. They just said that they were all the same qushed.

Flies!!!! Lots of them..especially just on top of coffee machines. Very unhygienic. Poor server was trying to swat one on the cash machine as he was taking orders. Friendly staff though and plenty of sitting when we were there..

Super rude staff who won’t let people have a simple nap when it’s 4am and you’ve been on planes all night. The least you can do is be kind to customers!

A nice space but unfortunately they have consistently poor food choices. For a busy location, it needs to be better.

The feedback is not regarding the quality of the food but rather the pricing. Charging £5 for a cup of coffee and £9 for a sandwich seems excessive.

The venue was not crowded on both days I was there and so service and atmosphere were fine, ie. it was clean and in good shape. The sandwiches and other savories, sweet items etc. are not cheap but at least they are fresh and nutritious which is not usually the case in airports on the continent. The free range eggs in the sandwiches are absolutely delicious. Had the coffee been better I would give it 5 stars.

Bacon and egg hot sandwich. Bread was crumbly and old. Expectedly a bit chaotic for a busy airport but the border of litter around the stools was a bit grim.

I was flying from Luton Airport and rather than pay a fortune on the plane I decided to get a snack and a drink from Pret in the departure lounge. The airport was not that busy and once I had chosen what I wanted I went to the counter and was served immediately. The chap who served me was polite and the eating area was clean and tidy and well presented.

I don't think the baguette was baked today.

The Pret at the departures one is completely messy. There is no cleaning service I think. The dirtiest Pret I have ever seen.

Pas mal pour un snack ! Des recettes de sandwich qui changent de l'ordinaire, idem pour les desserts, ça fait plaisir. En plus, les boissons proposés sont majoritairement anglaises.

Used to enjoy a coffee and fresh sandwich here. Now the prices are ridiculously expensive. Sandwiches now come in individual wrapping instead of in pairs....with no price reductions. Must be great for the environment. No wonder so few people are using Pret....it will be our last time. How could a company get it so wrong?

The pastries were all right, but the coffee tasted awful. Maybe is not clean or something, but tastes very bad.

Very poor coffee and over the top price. Food also ott prices and they replaced eatin vs take away prices to club vs other , so without club membership, prices are 1.3 times and more.

30.01.2024 6:30 London Luton airport I don’t know name of not tall young guy. He was very unfriendly to the customers. I understand it’s early morning but rudeness is not welcome in place where you drink morning coffee.

They have the best drinks 😍 I wish the queues weren’t so long though but it’s an airport! They have two at luton, one before departures and one after.

Busy but efficient, line initially looks long but goes down pretty fast, you need to stay at the right side of the till to get the drinks as it’s very busy but overall ok.

Nice coffee. Unfortunately plenty of people are sleeping in the shop (which leaves less space to sit). Uncomfortable. The opening hours on the Web page are wrong.

Absolutely appalling. £8 for a sandwich???? Service and quality is nothing like I’m used to at Pret on the high street. This establishment at Luton airport is so typical of rip off Britain. I thought Pret was morally superior to this greedy mentality.

i have the pret subscription which i pay £30 a month for. every time i get it i customise it to my liking… today as well as other days i was denied extra juice in my drink by the manager kasha since it’s not the “procedure”. i’ve also asked for less ice and got the WHOLE drink filled with it. it tastes like flavoured water and even that is a stretch. there’s also a new guy on the till who’s attitude stinks, not only does he roll his eyes, speak under his breath but never says thank you or please, basic manners, however i never got his name. it doesn’t cost anything to be nice or polite, but it costs me £30 a month to have my drink thrown in the bin because it’s got no taste. sort it out…

Ramona provided us with the best service we have ever received, she's was so friendly and attentive. She was so lovely to us as a family and went above and beyond to make sure we were okay after missing our flight which was even more appreciated as we have a 4 month old. (she was happy to gave us some hot water to feed our baby too). She went above and beyond for us and the coffee was great!

Absolutely awful customer service. Would give them zero points if it is was possible to do so. Training is clearly non-existent. Shouty, pushy staff trying to push customers to place an order without giving them time to think. Seen this tactic being used at several Prets lately...Absolutely awful. Avoid. Service at Starbucks was much better, but overpriced.

Exquisite food, really fresh, the salads and fruit are delicious. The staff in the shop in the arrivals area are really professional and friendly.

Coffee although expensive wasn’t so bad but what made me write this review is their poor customer service. Grumpy, unfriendly staff who seem to hate being there, would certainly not visit next time I am at the airport.

Just off a two hour flight from Prague, and in need of a British cup of tea before we went to find our car and drive home. Chose Pret as usually have a good reputation, and it wasn't busy at all, at about 4:50pm. Two staff members standing behind the counter, looking out but not making eye contact, or saying anything. We tried to catch their attention but nothing. In the end I asked "Are you open?". "Yes" was the curt reply. Ordered two teas. "Do you want milk?" - "Yes, please". The tea was made with milk so no time for the teabag to brew. You'd think these places would know this. Welcome back to the UK. Appalling customer service and tasteless tea. One of the staff members had been ticking away the minutes and had changed to go gome bang on 5pm.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the baristas. I’ve ordered my usual skinny warm flat white & got regular latte instead. After pointing that out they made my flat white using the same leftover regular milk they used for latte… when I asked to make my skinny warm flat white again, male barista with long hair started swinging milk jugs at me telling me which milk goes where ( really don’t care, I know what I saw ) & then female barista said she’ll make it again. After she made it she chucked my coffee at the counter without a word and walked away. Instead of being warm it was hot and I burned my mouth. Seriously, go somewhere else if you can.

They’ve awarded themselves two stars in their logo. I would give them only half a star for this and past experiences! I just spent another 15 quid on two sandwiches and a coffee. I ordered a double expresso macchiato like I always do, but what was slopped down in front of me was a small milky mess! when I politely complained and I asked the girl who served me if I could get what I ordered. I got the raised eyebrows and stares of thunder, the server took my coffee back to the barrister and relayed my complaint . The girl who made my coffee looked at it then glanced at me and said that this is a double macchiato and turned back to make someone else’s order. I had to raise my voice to be heard by her and said If you’re making a coffee please make it the way most outlets make it! You’ve put far too much milk in it! She argued again saying this is a double. I had to argue back asking her to please make it they way I want it! I just paid through the nose for it, at least make it the way I want it! The whole experience made me walk away feeling really angry at the fact that I’ve just been ripped off by Pret A Manger Luton airport! Again! On Friday 28/7/2023 at 08:10 in the morning. They charge so much. At least the staff could have a smile on their faces when they take your money. All the staff are miserable as sin. Which makes me think the management must be awful! This isn’t the first time, either every time I come to Luton Airport I get the same experience from pretty bloody Manger. I will now remember to get my coffee from elsewhere

The Customer service of Pret which is working in the ground floor of London luton Airport is very unpleasant and unsatisfactory. They are not even ready to customise the drinks. They are giving so much excuses. They don’t like people coming and ordering the items, especially the barista made drinks. Not even a single day, I felt bad experience from many employees in different days. Their customer satisfaction is absolutely Zero. That is the reason i am putting here the review. But the Pret which is working inside the Arrivals of the airport is very nice and they are dealing with the people in a nice behaviour.

Omg, compete absurdity and utter negligence: not only they no longer have porcelain cups thus generating tons of plastic rubbish but they refuse to serve coffee without the plastics lid for ‘legal reasons’ - simpletons, if someone does not want to take your ‘protection’ the business will never be liable if they burn themselves as the law does not favour the stupid - feel very unprotected not overly clever little brain celled creatures

The worst coffee, bleh! The staff doesn’t even now how to do it, they started arguing in front of me how to do espresso doppio, the server said she makes espresso and fills it with warm water 🙈 the other argued with her that that is not how you make it, but the first one said she always makes it like it,so,thank you,no more. And yeah, that’s not how you make double espresso!

Best place in the whole Luton Airport

I came here today for lunch as I had an hour to spend at Luton where there are no restaurants in the check-in area. I got a salad for 6.50 and was charged 7.80 for it. When checking the price, I discovered that indeed, the “sit-in” price was 7.80. This information was included in a miniature print under the “take away”aka regular price in large bold letters. Disregarding this lousy marketing practice, I could just about understand the discrepancy if there was any added value in sitting down and eating your meal on Pret’s premises. But all I got which others who had not foolishly declared they would be sitting in didn’t was a dirty metal tray on which I could carry my salad to a table. Apart from this luxury, Pret charges you an extra 1.30 for eating from the same paper containers with the same disposable cutlery only to be able to sit at one of their tables which they only ever clean up when the mood takes them. In my opinion, this is completely disrespectful towards the customer and if they had any kind of competition in the area, I imagine they would be forced to reconsider this approach.

Good prices, delicious sandwiches, even at the airport.

Really dirty surfaces in the cafe, rubbish everywhere and the furniture looked very tired. Not particularly welcoming.

It is an extremely busy place, near to the corner heading to Gate 1 - 28. We were attended by the very friendly & helpful Station Manager, A.N., one of the best Pret we have been, thanks a lot for the nice experience.

Coffee/espresso drinks are terrible and very pricey .

I'm from Newcastle and never been here. I believe that your former employee from 2004 Tristan Tate aged 16 and Luke the man have worked here. So for giving them the job I rate you 5 stars even though I know nothing about your brand

Lovely place to sit and have a snack before departure. Close to gates 1-6. Lots of seating. Toilets nearby too Fabulous food display and friendly staff. Food is fresh and inviting. Lovely selection of items to choose from.

Staff member was not welcoming. Did not even gave receipt and gone.

I really like Pret A Monger but this place is really ran down, so it does not feel like a relaxing service. But I would still come back for the baguettes, they are awesome!

It was early saturday morning and staff has mixed up people's drinks. 10 people were waiting for their drinks but couldn’t get what they’ve ordered. Friendly advise would be, to get orders numbered, so customers would know when to expect their drinks and reduce stress of missing flights.

Just wanted to say how nice they were for paying for my Latte for me to break my fast in Ramadhan. May Allah bless them.
