Haweli of Ealing in Ealing

Had a lovely time spent with family at Haweli server Khalil Ahmed was very hospitable and took care of our table very well meal was delicious 😋

I cannot understand why this restaurant won an award. The food has no flavour. I was do disappointed. I always order from my favourite place but thought I would try this place. Will not order from here again

Sadly we were very disappointed with our experience here. This is possible the worst restaurant we have been to full stop and is definitely not the best Indian restaurant, anywhere! - Especially not Ealing when you have the Laguna restaurant just down the road from it... The salted lassi came with way too much salt (although they replaced that with a better version), the paneer I ordered was also so salty - even mixing it with 90% rice was not enough to dilute the salt. They didn't charge us for the paneer but I dont understand how much salt they must have put in to taste like that, especially when we complained about the salt just before. The roti was dry and chewy, it took two attempts to get a beer - which came right near the end of the meal and finally their cauliflower bites were expensive, bland and only had 3 small pieces on the dish. The masala bhaigan was probably the only nice dish, but to drop that amount of money for one dish is not worth it. All in all, there was not enough staff, the food was terrible and we will not be going again.

I ordered online via Uber eats, I mistook this branch for its sister restaurant on Kings street (Stamford Brook) which is very very nice. However, sadly I can't say the same for the Ealing branch, although a lot of the dishes on the menu were similar the food was very disappointing. I ordered Lamb Madras (which is usually medium heat) but was way too hot and the meat it self was tough and chewy. The Salmon bhuna was equally hot, laced with chillies and despite being a main only contained one small piece of fish which they charged £18.65 for, I must say I was expecting for that price the portion to at least be big enough to share between two but it was just one small solitary piece fish surrounded by sauce filled with chilli and onions. The lemon rice was equally awful and completely different to the other lemon rice (which included cashews nuts) that I had many times at the other branch. The pieces of chicken in the chicken Jalfrezi were not soft and succulent and the curries were all watery and oily not thick and creamy as I had anticipated. Let just say my stomach didn't appreciate the food at all. I think the only items which were ok were the dahl and the naan & roti. My total bill came to 73.44 for and that was with a 20% discount so I do feel quite robbed as my whole family were disappointed with the quality food and value for money.

Awful customer service whilst eating in, we had to ask for a glass of water three times and kept rudely getting told that it was coming with no apology. I told them to forget about the other drinks ordered as we had already waited so long for them. The food also took ages to come out and when it did finally arrive, the quality was not good. Nobody came to check on us to see if everything was ok once and to top it off, it was overpriced. I will not be eating here again.

The chicken was good but need to cook a bit more. Tandoori roti was hard and crunchy it is suppose to be soft and plumpy. Normally it's soft and tasty

Came for my brother's birthday, food was delicious and service was good. Would recommend!

Our first visit to this lovely restaurant which we visited on a short stay in Ealing. Everything was really good. My wife is vegetarian and the menu even had separate vegetarian and vegan sections which we have not seen before. The paneer shashlik was the best my wife had ever had with the paneer beautifully cooked to perfection. We will certainly be back when next in the area. Thank you!

The worst staff and atmosphere i ever seen before. One of the staff is so arrogant and misbehaved with others and drivers as well. this kind of behaviour we can’t accept in any restaurants. I’ll wouldn’t vist again ever in my life.

Amazing buffet on a Sunday as usual.

Haweli is our best Indian restaurant in London and we have tried many! It's authentic, fresh, and super tasty! I think even better if you go to the restaurantas the food comes out sizzling :) and you are being looked after Khalid who is nice, very accomodating, and really looks after cutomers needs. Dining in or take away it's always great! We had a curry dinner last night/Sun it was excellet!

Very poor service and lower than average food, I am surprised they survive in this competitive market. Will not go again, my husband is usually quite forgiving but he was also upset with the waiters attitude and poor interest. We were a group of four adults.

First bad sign was the waiter didn't write down what I ordered. I had to repeat my order 3 times, I did ask why he wasn't writing it down but just got a shrug of the shoulders. Chicken Tikka Starter - Very dry and very bland. Sent it back. Main meal was Lamb Dhansak and a plain naan. I ordered the naan with NO butter, 3 times, see above. Left at that point as they clearly can't take an order and what little food I ate was dry and bland. I will not return, I suggest you don't waste your time and money. They seem to have plenty of awards on the wall, I assume they are not recent!

Am a customer the Hawela in Southall, their food and their customer service is outstanding. However the Ealing branch is rubbish and staining the brands name. There was only one person for the customer service and even lacks the basic of human interaction, he was rude an unprofessional and made us uncomfortable

Will not be going with family. The food was not it. It was very very quiet in restaurant only about 4 other people. When we ordered the food they kept saying do you not want more, order more. When I said I will order later if we want more, I was told they do not offer that, the order has to be all together. Which did not make sense at all. Never had such experience. The food was not good in quantity aswell and everything just seemed unpleasant. Having said that just wanted to have a good time and leave.

Superb food in a nice looking restaurant, The restaurant is very nice looking,the staff friendly, The food was the star of the show though,the Chicken tikka was one of the best I’ve had in years,it was like a flavour I had years ago and I loved it,the accompanying curry was superb also, We will definitely call again next time we are in London

I didn't get a chance to visit the restaurant in-person, but Haweli's takeaway was a staple of my 2 years living in Northfields. I will miss it dearly! Try the Chicken Korma!

We had very horrible experience with restaurant staff . So celebrate birthday of our twin special need kids we booked table for 9 people for 20:00p.m on Saturday the 26/04/24. When we reached it was heavily raining so we entered the restaurant 5 min before time . As soon as we entered we saw member of staff preparing the round table outside area. He looked at us but continued with his work without greeting us . One of my twin special need daughter entered in inside area where some people predominantly English white were waiting to be served . I realised that it was private event so I rushed to take out my daughters from there . She resisted as she is special need people looked at me and I sad to them she is special need and sorry for this . They said it’s okey . It seemed they didn’t mind it knowing I was trying to take her out . Mean while another member of staff rushed to me and said can you take her out people are complaining. As it was all in front of me I know no body complained it was pure lie . I was so shocked and embarrassed as being rudely forced out that I started dragging my daughter and then for resisting she slept on the floor and then I had to drag her out in distressed condition . I was so fuming with the rude and discriminatory behaviour of this unprofessional staff and probably racial staff that we decided to leave without dining . When this was happening an English gentleman entered and he was welcomed and greeted in a friendly manner by the staff . There was no sign so we couldn’t figure out that disabled/special need people are not allowed there . After this my daughter was so distressed that she kept crying and throughung tantrums. It took us couple of hours to calm her down and settle her . Until then she was crying . We then rushed to another restaurant as it was already too late that staff welcomed us greeted as and on knowing that we have 2 special need kids they not only arranged a table for us but also said that in that restaurant special need kids eat free. This is our first ever horrible experience in London that special need kids and we accompanying them were badly badly treated . My suggestion to all is to avoid embarrassment and discrimination if you have special need kids and/or if you are not English white avoid this restaurant.

Kahlil and satter service was amazing. Really helped us get comfortable as we had two little kids and they made us feel really welcome. The kids really enjoyed themselves . They offered us ice cream at the end which the kids loved !!

First time I ordered from this place and I was appalled by what I had delivered. I eat alot of Indian food and this was the worst I've ever tasted. I ordered a samosa chaat and I couldn't even eat it as it was swimming in oil. The chicken tikka masala was watery and lacking flavour. The naan was not fresh it was chewy like it had just been warmed up. Overall I'm disgusted I wasted £36. Will not be ordering from here again.

This is some of the best indian food in England! Our waiter Kahlil was very helpful and patient. The food is amazing, I ordered butter chicken and my dad ordered lamb biriyani and it was fantastic. We would definitely be coming back and would recommend.

The best Indian I have ever been to!!! If you love Indian food and trying new foods, this is the place to go!! Chef Islam is extremely welcoming and creative with his specials... They have all of the traditional dishes, of course, but his specials are truly amazing and they're happy to accommodate food to your taste/needs. I live in France now, but every time I come back to London to visit family, I make sure this place is on our itinerary! Plus it's great value for money for London, and they team are so thoughtful! We came this time for my mum's birthday and they made a special birthday dessert for her!

Booked through he Fork app with discount as advertised. They would not apply the discount and made excuses. Has to put up an argument and eventually applied but had to pay in cash only. Had guests with me and was very embarrassing. Food was absolutely rubbish too. Never again. I did eventually get the discount but has to have an argument. When I booked it it did not have the min 5 people which was over a week ago. I suspect it has been amended now with this min stipulation due to my escalation.

Really bad food quality and quantity not worth the price on the menu as we ordered lamb chops for £8 - £12 pounds and received two lamb chops with hardly any meat . The butter chicken was tasteless and small chunks of chicken inside the masala which was bad . The samosa frozen 2 for £5 was the worse. I wouldn't recommend anyone to try this restaurant as you will leave disappointed and dissatisfied

A wonderful place to have a double 60th Birthday dinner party. Khalil really looked after us with kind and patient service. The food was on point. A party of 20 were extremely well treated and to feel at ease with the whole experience. We will definitely will be back.

Very bad quality food. The lamb curry we got was cold and had few pieces in there. Prawn puri was coloured red. Just looked weird. Sheek kebabs was dry and ends was hard. Tikka salad only had few bits of chicken. The only edible thing was the nan. We did complain to the restaurant but never got anything really. Normally a restaurant would take some money off. The whole meal cost us nearly £60 for 2. But we hardly had any food. Its very expensive. £7.50 for 2 dry sheek kebab is very expensive. We didn't even get any mint sauce on the table. We actually couldn't wait to leave.

When receiving the order from the driver the bag was closed tightly and when I opened it in my kitchen I noticed that the chicken tikka masala was missing and when I called the restaurant the person who packaged my order was really rude and insisted he packed it but he did not. I was on the phone with him for around 5 minutes and he was absolutely rude and I will never ever order again. This cost £58 and was not at all worth it. Disgusted by the service

First time I've visited Haweli and I'll definitely come again, the food was lovely and the chef made a special dish that I requested. Khalil our server was very accommodating and polite and the decor, and ambience of the restaurant was relaxing and pleasant.

Usually great food but just had a takeaway where everything was pretty spicy even the mild dishes. Difficult to enjoy when it's spicier than you anticipated

We went there for a friend's birthday, the service was poor, rude and the food was average at best. Our food took hours to arrive, one of our guests waited over 3 hours for her food, we were over charged, my food was burnt and so many orders that were incorrect were then charged to our bill 💸, we paid over £700 and all said we would never return again.

The food quantity was poor as small portions and the food was very average. The only thing good was that the lamb was cooked well. The service was good and also if you reserve online you get 10% off total bill when dining in. The plates for starters was small to make the quantity look big, only 4 pieces for paneer tikka which was for only one person. Most other places the paneer would be double the size ad would be enough for 2 people. Only 1 lamb chop in haweli special grill which is disappointing. The vegetarian menu was limited, no papri chaat or aloo tikki or pani puri on menu. Also no daal makhani, these are standard for most restaurants. Overall the prices were the same as most restaurants but the portions were small and average taste. Great, if you are on diet but will still be hungry so best to popin to Macdonalds on the way back home.

AMAZING. Blown away by this place. I didn't really feel that anything about our meal could have been improved so I really wanted to leave a good review. I'm actually vegan and it's very hard to find Indian favourites that are vegan. I can't remember the last time I had a good korma before today. We got the vegan korma, vegan massala, a side of pindi channa (chickpea dish), rice and chapati. I think this will probably become my new fav restaurant in Ealing.
