Just wanted to say ... you have the most fabulous Christmas decorations I've seen in a pub restaurant EVER. Plus good food, great service, lovely atmosphere. Well done. Looking forward to my next visit.

Went at the start of half term as walkin booked as there were no table so booked for 17.45 Idell was lovely and accommodating although the venue was packed, we waited and had great service as always. Can't praise the staff enough always amazing service.i dell was fabulous thanks for make us comfortable

Dirty burger and sage n onion fries was really good. Kids meal of bbq chicken also very good. Chicken tikka flatbread was too spicy. Service was extremely friendly and engaging for kids. Salad bar was good. Great chocolate brownies!

Came for dinner with my daughter and her friend after a day at the zoo and the service was exceptional. I kicking myself for not remembering the servers name but she appeared to be the only one there when we arrived about 4 today and was very pleasant and efficient. She was clearly very busy but we never felt we were waiting or rushed. The salad bar was well stocked (the lettuce was starting to go a bit brown but not that bad I wouldn't eat it). My only slightly negative is that our food came out so quick the girls hadn't eaten their salad bar bowls and then didn't eat them because they ate the dinner but if that's all I can moan about it shows what a fantastic job you're doing. Sadly, we're not local but will be back when we next visit Dudley Zoo or The Black Country Museum. Thank you again to our fabulous server for looking after us.

Waited 2 hours before we complained to staff we got our meal which my husband did not eat onion rings were like rock hard cold the staff were helpful but I won't be going again

Booked in here for early dinner on 1st Thursday in September We ordered from the evening menu deal menu and had half a rotisserie chicken with Kansas style BBQ sauce and served with buttered corn and golden rice. My wife had Chicken, skewered with padron peppers & basted with sauce, served with a soft flatbread & slaw. For pudding Sundae best and treacle sponge with custard .We had unlimited Pepsi Max to drink Great value and food both looked and tasted great. We were served by Ellie mid-way through who was very friendly alert and naturally great with customers .Great value and salads good too

We booked for the Christmas menu meal. We had a lovely meal our sever was Cheryl. She was lovely and looked after our granddaughter. We are now looking to book a breakfast. All 5 of us Where really pleased with the service and the meal. Cheryl was fantastic so thank you 😊.

Awful Harvester! 15 minutes to be served at bar upon entry, with the venue nowhere near busy. Ordered food, steak came out well done instead of medium. Sent back, took over 10 mins for food to be re cooked by which time chips were cold. Salad bar looked like it hadn’t been refreshed in three days. Add to that flat beers, needless to say won’t be returning to the venue for a very long time!!

Lovely cozy place and great food and drinks. Cheryl was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Easy to reserve a place and service was quick.

Family of 3 visited harvester. Nice welcome, it took me many attempts to book this restaurant including online and phoning the restaurant, and both telling me it’s full, however, one final look online there were slots all times, so was able to book. When arriving the restaurant was half empty so not sure why they are filling the restaurant. Friendly staff, ordered food fine, the problem was when it felt like a convey belt of food, we barely started our salad before starters arrived then barely finished the starters before mains arrived. My daughter’s starter didn’t arrive and they assumed it was a side?! When I clearly told them it was a starter. She has additional needs so waiting is not something she can process which caused upset. That got quickly resolved as they went to find it. Food was nice, cooked right temp. Staff was on the low down so was hard to order pudding and then took 20 mins for someone to appear for the bill when we found her chatting at the bar, and again my daughter does not wait so had to physically go and find a waitress. Wasn’t the best experience and felt very rushed and couldn’t breathe between courses.

Really enjoyed our meal at Harvester this evening. Food was good quality and served in a timely way. My chicken was nicely cooked and really tasty. Service from Mary Jane was great. She was really friendly, knowledgeable and cared about our table, on what was a really busy service.

Food is good and what you’d come to expect from a large pub chain. The service was fantastic and Chez was a great waitress who was super friendly and welcoming.

Excellent friendly service from the minute we walked through the door 1 of us is a fussy eater but this wasn't a problem our waitress Mary Jane was very efficient and attentive food lovely and hot

The food was poor quality and not value for money. I had the half roast chicken with mash and corn on the cob. There was 3 mouth fulls of mash and the corn on the cob was 2 inches in size and was poorly cooked. My daughters steak and chips off the kids menu was also not value for money and even came with a free desert. These meals including a pint of shandy and 2 refillable Pepsi came to £35. I won't be going again!!!

Absolutely lovely. They were very busy, had to wait at the bar for half hour before we could be seated, which was fine as we hadn't booked and there were plenty of drink choices. Was greeted by a very friendly gentleman (unfortunately didn't catch his name, I believe he was a manager) who was very calm and pleasant despite the rush. Was taken care of by Cheryl, who was the sweetest! Very bubbly, kind and considerate and despite being rushed off her feet always made sure us, and all her other tables, were happy and had everything we needed, even had a bit of a conversation when she could too! The food was delicious and hot, salad bar was well stocked and the drinks were equally as amazing, wish we could of had dessert but we were too stuffed to! Genuinely running out of adjectives to use to describe the experience, will definitely be visiting again!

Brilliant service,good food Cheryl our server was very helpful as we had a birthday cake, she helped deliver a good time for wife's 65th birthday. Clean and tidy place.

We had a day off from work and decided to treat ourselves to breakfast. At the harvester, we had a classic breakfast which was massive delicious, good quality, sausages, bacon, mushroom, hashbrowns, beans, eggs, toast and unlimited tea. Our waitresses, Zoe and Penny were very good and attentive, I would definitely recommendthis harvester for breakfast as it was absolutely delicious. Staff are brilliant

Where to start we came in on christmas day and the place was buzzing so busy but a great atmosphere, 2 of our party couldn't have the soup as it had not in it when we told the chef he made us a carrot and coriander soup that was beautiful they said, all our food was top quality great service as well such a brilliant place

First and last time I will dine at this establishment! Poor quality and service, food cold - not even busy! Served us empty glasses when asked for coke and said fill your own! Only took some dirty plates away and served mains with starter plates still on table. Desserts synthetic tasting and brownie a struggle to swallow.

The layout of the pub restaurant is very good indeed. The food is excellent with plenty of choice. Very reasonable prices. Friendly staff.

First of all we were left standing waiting to be shown to our seats, I then had to find a manager to get our order taken despite people who came in after us being served. The food was ok although our little one didn't like the pasta. O children's play area. Don't think we would go back.

Arrived without booking but we were greeted by staff member who said she would ‘buzz’ when table available; only waited around 10 minutes.Service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.Enjoyed a delicious meal of chicken and ribs and an enormous sundae for dessert.Would recommend and will use again next time we are in the area.

There were 17 of us for my nieces 1yr old birthday family get together. 3 of the party arrived about 45 mins after the rest of us. The staff were extremely attentive. The one who stood out the most was a lady called Lottie. she couldn't have done more for us. making sure we were happy, are drinks were refilled, the birthday cake was sorted and provided with napkins. She continuously delivered outstanding service to a large and unorganised table and we were so impressed with everything she delivered on. Even more so on leaving and asking how to provide feedback we were advised it was her first day at Castlegate. I would like her recognised for the efforts she went to, to ensure everything ran so smoothly.

We seemed to be waiting from the start. We walked in and there was a sign asking to wait to be seated, and did we wait, bar staff kept looking at us, but we waited 8-10 minutes for someone to come to us, far to long, once seated we waited for our drinks order to be taken, we waited for them to arrive, made our food choices, then waited for them to arrive, most of our visit was spent waiting for something. Food when it arrived wasn't hot, and not appetizing to look at. The staff themselves were pleasant, but not enough of them for the amount of customers in the restaurant. There is a soft play area for children attached to the restaurant.

We arrived about half five and walked in to a warm welcome by a lovely lady who showed us to a table and took our drinks order. With in a few mins she was back with our drinks and took our order, I had the cowboy burger and my girlfriend has 2 starters for her main. We went up to the salad bar and it was well stocked, the restaurant was about half full and got busier throughout our meal. As we sat to eat our salad the waitress came over to check on us and we had a nice chat with her, very friendly but not overbearing. Our food arrived within 10 mins and was well presented and hot. The meal was delicious and there was no pressure to rush even though the restaurant was getting very busy. Very friendly atmosphere and nice helpful staff, will visit again

Decent quality bu not a lot of choice and a bit pricey. Best thing about this place is the bread in the salad bar.

Our grandchildren love eating at the harvester and this one was no different,good honest food at a reasonable price.The service was okay,the restaurant was full and the staff struggled to keep up at times,we waited ages for our drinks,the salad bar was well stocked and we enjoyed the food which was well prepared.

Although this Harvester is one of the closest to where we live, we've never visited. So because my husband had been at work all day, we didn't want to travel far and decided to give it a try at Tea Time - unfortunately we will not be returning. Although the food is mostly to the same standard as any other Harvester, and I have to say the young waiter that served us - Jake, was a real asset to the restaurant, that's where the compliments end. As soon as we entered, we noticed how shabby the decor looked. When we were seated, there was a distinct smell of old baby's bottled milk. The paint on the wall next to our table was chipped in hundreds of places and most of the doors we went through looked 'bashed' in places. Then there was the salad bar. Again this was one thing that I thought would be standard across all Harvesters - but the selection on offer was really poor as it was practically the same on both sides. My husband and I stuck to our usual chicken dishes, which were fine. But unfortunately the rest of the surroundings and a poor salad cart mean we will not be returning to this particular restaurant.

The breakfast food is good but the service was poor. We arrived for breakfast late, but no where near the end of the time that breakfast is served and there was a general lack of everything as if they were reluctant to replace things. There were no mugs or plates and the bread and crumpets quickly ran out and were not replaced - so much for bottomless drinks.

Call in on the off chance, was meet by a pleasant young lady who showed us to our table , drink order came quite quickly, menu was a bit lame really needs some updating , we both ordered the gammon? ,which came quite quickly, the gammon was salty the chips where not good at all , thin straggly things with a few peas sorry would not go again.

Just been to this Harvester. Half empty restaurant still had to wait 20 mins to be asked for drinks. Ordered a stuffed pepper with rice. Served Mr Bens rice, clumped together. Meal seemed like a microwave job.

we were seated quickly on arrival and left to wait while those who came after us were served. The waitresses were quite unenthusiastic and very laid back in serving us. we chose the smoked belly pork but the waitress returned to inform that this had all gone. we then chose the cod in batter with sweet potato fries. This arrived with potato chips! when we managed to get the attention of the waitress she did take the meals and replaced soon after with red hot plates with correct chips. the fish had no flavour, disappointingly.Tthe salad bar, which is usually a favourite of ours was repetitive, lacked choice and was all a bit dried out.

Was OK but nothing special not really somewhere to go for a special occasion rather more suited for a last minute cheap lunch, staff were helpful but food ok, I had mushrooms to start which normally come with a blue cheese dip but I asked for a bbq dip instead but was offered the bottle of bbq sauce which was on the table which meant no bowl to actually "dip" the mushrooms in, if I wanted it I would have to pour it on! Then I had salmon which was very dry! I have ad it with jacket potato but no butter, had to pour sauce which came with salmon to make it moist!

We have been here a few times but went in June 2017 with friends from work for a couple of drinks and a meal. The food is good value for money and didn't have any problems. It was nice tasting, pretty much the same as other Harvester restaurants I have been to. Staff are friendly and attentive. Would visit again.

My Husband & I ate here whilst on a short break after our wedding. The food was pleasant enough but the bread rolls provided with the salad could've broken a tooth they were that stale. Even dipping them in the gravy provided with the main meal didn't soften them!

Excellent food and polite staff, I had the half chicken and it was lovely the gravy nice and thick and the chicken melted in the mouth... my mum had scampi which she enjoyed very much. I love the idea of a unlimited saled if you buy a full price meal and the unlimitless soft drinks.... I wish more pubs did this! Really enjoyed my visit and the desert was lovely :) will definitely visit a more local branch soon.

We went one Saturday night with friends as usually a Harvester, we could expect to get at least a good meal. It turned out dreadful, the chicken was bone dry and totally inedible.

Nothing different to what you would expect from a Harvester, good, clean , spacious dining area, helpful staff, clean toilets and most importantly, good tasty food.

I find harvesters can be really up and down but this one is definitely an up! Great food, service and atmosphere.

Only ever been to one harvester before so was looking forward to this.

Been once never again went there with family for a birthday meal half of the meal was eaten before the rest of the meals came out sent back the fish batter burnt the mix grill dried up the staff wasn't really bothered the harvester in Halesowen is much better, we only went to try it because it is closer for us never never again

Recently had breakfast there with my wife. Though the food was ok, just about. We found to be not one of the best Harvesters we have visited. Upon walking in, we was greeted by a friendly member of staff. We were shown to our table and ordered. But we found the table to be sticky and not very clean. Also the carpet was sticky, and not just around our table. Also there was a smell that can only described as damp dog.

We went for lunch after a visit to the cinema the service was a bit slow the food was quite good although the salad looked as if it needed refreshing the staff were friendly not as good as other harvesters I have been to.

I stopped in before spending the day locally at the museums across the street. Had the breakfast buffet with a cup of perfectly brewed LaVazza coffee.
