Shaam and his team catered for my parents 50th wedding anniversary party at our house yesterday. From the first time we met Shaam and the team, to planning the event and finally the actual event itself, we had fantastic service. The food was delicious and delivered piping hot. All the guests loved the food and commented on the quality and service. Thanks again to the whole team for making the event so successful.

Did my sons 30th Birthday Party recently. Pure original Authentic Indian cuisine including starters and Main for a house party of 50. It was WOW, quality of the highest standards. Thank You Havelli for making it special your food made it incredible. From SANGA x

Haveli Restaurant provided catering for our wedding. Great service and great food. Shaam worked with closely to make sure all the food is exactly how we want it. All the guests were happy with the food provided by Haveli. If anyone is looking for Indian catering for their wedding I would highly recommend Haveli Restaurant.

Attended a friends wedding at this venue. It was appalling from start to finish. Toilets were completely inadequate with very little toilet paper (guests were left to fetch their own), no seating on arrival, 1 bar staff for over 100 guests, very young inexperienced staff. Top table served last. The starters were dreadful, very little food on the plates. The main courses were all cold with tandoori chicken being served with frozen vegetables and gravy - totally unacceptable. You know when food is cold and tasteless. The tables at the back of the room were served deserts prior to the top table being served their main meals. No apology from management for the absolute debacle they made of the day. A wedding day completely spoilt by incompetence of management. Some of the young staff had only started that day and were given no direction. My advice is to never ever book an event at this venue.

I will be leaving a review on their website but just for friends on here DO NOT book any special event in Haveli restaurant Coed Cae Lane. We had a family wedding there and the service was atrocious. 2 people behind the bar, 10 deep queue and 3 people pouring wine in another room. We asked if they could help behind the bar to get the queue down but no-one came. The staff were all young and did a fantastic job serving the meals but didn't have a clue what to do. Top table hadn't had their main meal when the back tables were having their desserts. No leadership. Most of the staff had started on that day and didn't have a clue what to do although they worked really hard. The men's urinals were blocked and over flowing. One was blocked when we got there, the other got blocked while we were there. I reported it but nothing was done. The ladies toilets were O.K. but one toilet was hanging off the wall and the toilet had moved. One of the sinks was the same. I can't not recommend this place enough. The manager wouldn't come out to speak to the bride and groom. The food was awful. Melon or soup to start, there was about 4 pieces of melon the size of my thumb nail, the main was beef or chicken dinner, small portions and mine came without half of what others on my table had, some of the veg was missing, the beef couldn't even be cut with a knife, dessert was cheesecake or chocolate gateaux, the chocolate cream on my gateaux was sour and I had to spit it out. Out of 10 I'd give the food a 1. The service I'd give a 5 because the poor young staff did try their best and the venue I'd give a 1. They knew we we coming and had 2 bar staff for 150 people. Please don't book anything special there unless you want it to be ruined. We didn't let it spoil our lovely day but on such a special occasion Haveli could have done so much better. They had their money and did the absolute bare minimum. Shame on you Haveli. Please share to stop others making the same mistake. 

The food is absolutely delicious best Indian I have ever had and the rooms are top quality and really clean and priced very good for what you get the staff cant do enough in both the hotel and the restaurant will definitely be coming back in the future

Lovely food, great service and a brilliant team

I was travelling to the Cardiff area for business and originally from West London. If you know anything about West London, you'll know you can get authentic Indian food there as the restaurants in the plenty. So it was a pleasant surprise to get the same authentic Indian food served at Haveli. I had a chance to meet the owner who was friendly and very welcoming. In addition to that, after meetings in Cardiff, I needed a good night rest before my drive back. I certainly got it. Rooms were quiet, comfortable and clean. Final note - we're in weird times so it was great to see COVID safe practices taking place at the restaurant and bar.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a great place to stay are the staff. The entire team are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. My wife and I travelled to Wales for our anniversary and this was one of the nicest places we stayed years! Great restaurant, food was amazing and atmosphere was brilliant!

Very poor service zero customer service communication skills,Sham (the manager) has had ample opportunity to right a huge C0CK UP however did not reply to my messages and simply ignored me. You are better off booking a table at the Three Saints 01443 222386

The food is authentic as hell. The best punjabi saag paneer I've ever had. The food is the best punjabi food I've ever had, and I'm a Gujurati so I know my tastes. Dal Makhani is banging. Also has indian paintings and decorations so gives a proper nice atmosphere. This place is the best for Indian in Wales!!!!!!!!!

This hotel is dirty, run down and dishonest. They allow people to gather together in groups when the Welsh government had called a lock down because of Covid 19. parties going on in room next door (NOT THE SAME FAMILY). Pity because the lady cooking worked hard. I would NOT recommend staying here.

Visited this restaurant on 25.08.20 with my boyfriend and we cannot fault the food whatsoever. There was a little bit of wait for the food to arrive but there was only 1 chef on and busy with takeaways however was sooo worth the wait. The 2 young waitresses done a fab job and my boyfriend had never been to a sit down indian meal before. We had chicken pakoras and onion bajis to start followed by a chicken korma and chicken tikka masala which is the best we have ever tried. I so recommend the food at this restaurant and im hard to please when it comes to Indian food. Will definately be back again!

Friendly helpful staff, definitely try the pindia (spiced okra) will def stay here again when i come back to wales.

Went here yesterday for a Bollywood night, bar staff very friendly and drinks reasonably cheap. Very plain inside and the food wasn't good at all. Vegetarian and meet options provided weren't good at all. Promised a three course meal by 11pm still no sight of our last course. Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend.

Should be sat here eating my dinner but the restaurant couldnt be bothered to put the chicken in the order that my mother waited an hour for them to cook. Ruined my mothers birthday meal as they said it would be ready by 5.45, 44 minutes later she gets home missing the chicken she waited an hour for. The containers are all half empty. People are now not eating together because the rest of the food is getting cold and there just isnt enough to go round. Awful service.

Enjoyed an excellent Indian-style meal at Haveli’s restaurant. Service was superb and the staff were extremely polite and friendly. The owner even came over to ensure the meal was to our satisfaction, which was a really nice touch. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone local or passing through!

Stayed there last night for a friends wedding, the room was clean and ok. But as for the breakfast and the attitude of the woman serving was disgusting. Never again!!! Was vomiting after eating it.

Looks sad, only had an instant coffee as it had appeared that breakfast was not included. Don't think we have missed anything special though!

We had the restaurant to ourselves for most of the evening, the waitress could not have been more helpful with all our questions about the menu. Food appeared to have been cooked fresh and plentiful, onion bhajis looked and tasted amazing as did the garlic mushrooms in a curry sauce, rest tasted ok. Wine great price only mishap no slimline tonic...

Great for a beer and a brunch. It is a motel and has traveling constuctersi unbeknownst when it started. All seems to be going well, no problems. Nice to call in for a quick pint, but you get caught up with the atmosphere, and, I repeat,,,,, a huge wall screen of not only this one, but WALES games on a huge wall live. And no, I am not a paid support, I am honest. Check me out.

Went to the Haveli for a family event. Food was very greasy and over cooked and service was disgraceful. Food was placed on the table in drips and drabs. Toliets and hygiene levels overall were next to none. The owner was very rude and heard him more then once shouting at a old lady. First and last time I visit this place.

Turned up on Sunday, having booked online on their own website via Quandoo obly to be told, very politely, they do not open Sunday (thought it looked quiet)...apart from me looking like a tool, even Tripadvisor says it's open on a Sunday, three emails confirming this and the nerve of a feedback form today. They swore blind they had no confirmation, so I will take them on their word. If that is the standard of service, then the whole business will go to pot

This hotel is easy to find. It looks good from the outside, brightly lit. We reached at around 11pm. The person at the reception (?owner) was quite pleasant and helpful. He explained everything succinctly and advised to call him anytime of the night if required (that was helpful as we had two young kids). I think the last order for food was 10 30pm. All the rooms are across the reception with two floors (I think). Our room with two double beds was of good size with an attached bathroom which was also a good size. However, the shower curtain was badly stained and looked dirty. Everything like tea, coffee, biscuits, shampoo, conditioner, etc was provided. The bed was neatly made. There was no noise throughout the night and bed was comfortable and we had a good night sleep. The carpets looked stained and on some parts, they were a bit wet. One of the bedsheets had a bit of dust. The breakfast is typical with a mix of full English (vegetarian and non vegetarian), cereals, some fruits, juice, tea and coffee. It appeared like a family run business and lack of staff. The breakfast was okay but the oil that they used for frying did not taste fresh. The tea cups had stains. Overall, this could have been better if they were welcoming with a smile! Overall, this hotel suited us as we were only doing a quick stop over. For one night stay, I would recommend it but don't expect too much.

Great value for money. Extremely clean, nice room and comfy bed.

The accommodation conditions are excellent, the staff very kind, professional and attentive to any need. If we had a problem, I would have agreed to call him at any time. Very elegant location and very clean. The meal at the restaurant was delicious and also my first Indian culinary experience. I felt great and if the roads of my travels ever bring me to this area, I will not hesitate to book at this wonderful hotel.

Went on a day when there was a private function...so unfortunately service was a little slow... plates and cutlery felt greasy.. which was not a good sign...however...food when it finally did arrive was good. Although the onion bhaji starter was a measly portion..tiny pieces on a large plate..not enough even for a child.

I stayed here for one night working in the local area and from our initial arrival, found the staff to be very welcoming, polite, and professional. The rooms are very reasonably priced and speaking from someone who stays away 3 nights a week in different hotels, was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience! The rooms were very clean, better decorated than my 3 bed semi, and the Indian cuisine was to die for! The food was well worth the wait, fresh ingredients throughout, and well presented. It was nice that the chef came out of the kitchen so that we could thank him personally. Great overall stay, would definitely come back, Great host, thanks for a great time Haveli

Las habitaciones estaban limpias y bien presentadas, con un montón de agua y refrescos gratis sólo decepción por el moho en el baño y ventanas inodoro roto.Tuvimos una buena noche de sueño y para el desayuno a las 9. 45:00 am. Este es el lugar donde el servicio al cliente, Brasil paralled defectuosa de defectuoso. Se nos recibió el dueño de negocios que tenía un aspecto sombrío en su rostro como "qué están haciendo aquí, me estás estuvieras estorbándoles". Ella hizo al menos tres errores con nuestro pedido y nos echaron la culpa de los errores! Nuestra comida llegaba en dribs y drabs y la mitad de nosotros comimos en nuestro propio como la comida era tarde. Ella era grosero, ofensivo y no tenía habilidades de servicio al cliente. En un punto ella discutió con nosotros y nos dijo que era tarde para el desayuno y que ella estaba muy ocupado! Es una pena, ya que el lugar tiene potencial para ofrecer mejor.

Nos alojamos en este hotel por un evento deportivo en Merthyr Tydfil. Mientras que las habitaciones estaban limpias que no se parecen en nada a lo que se ve en los gustos de Trivago. El resto del hotel está muy deteriorado. Cuando llegamos el sábado había una fiesta hindú de nacimiento en el bar con los altavoces a todo volumen todo tipo de música de Bollywood, que era divertido. Cuando un amigo y yo quería sentarse en el bar para beber una pinta de Fosters nos dijeron los indios no como los occidentales beber en su compañía, lo cual me pareció divertidísimo como los Indios eran ellos mismos: D downing pintas el desayuno no es nada lo que te esperarías de un hotel europeo. El personal era seguramente comprado en un restaurante de comida india: los granos no eran Frijoles heinz, las salchichas sabía de nada sólo la grasa y el agua, los huevos revueltos no estaban condimentados con sal o pimienta que eran sólo huevos. Pan que teníamos que pedir. No me refiero a que en cualquier tipo racistas pero los indios no cocinar un desayuno europeo - este debe haber sido la décima vez que he visto esto. La comida india tuvimos el sábado por la noche aunque era excelente. Cuenta que sólo había dos cosas que puedas comer sin la mandíbula cayendo porque estaba tan caliente que era mi pollo tikka y un suave pollo al curry. Cancelamos el desayuno el segundo día y comimos fuera en Franky y Bennys que recomiendo. Sobre todo, le doy dos estrellas por las habitaciones limpias, la música de Bollywood y el buen pollo tikka. Una palabra sobre las habitaciones: no sé si es conveniente para gente mayor. La bañera es de unos 80 cm del suelo, así que tienes que hacer un gran paso para llegar a lo que puede ser un reto para personas mayores. El baño tiene un asiento de plaza, lo que garantiza que no te caes, incluso si una piedra fría borrachos :D

Stayed 2 nights here and the rooms inside were nice and freshly decorated with good kit. Outside doesn't promise this but inside was clean and tidy and comfy bed. 👍

Nos alojamos en el hotel para una escapada de fin de semana y cenamos aquí por las noches. La comida era comida tradicional india que estaba realmente bien. Todo salió de maravilla, en que no tuve que esperar mucho para el primer plato y una vez que habíamos terminado los platos principales nos trajeron poco después. Los postres también estaban muy bien.

on the out look it looks good but on arrival the reception isn't manned, they don`t answer the bell on reception so you have to telephone to get someone to come and book you in! WIFI code is not the code they claim it to be, tested on 3 devices and said wrong code. as reception un-manned couldn`t get code, frustrating! shower had no hot water, difficult washing in sink!!! then breakfast was served in the restaurant, no heating so freezing, no wonder it was empty, but possibly because everything was cooked or warmed up in the microwave, not good listening to the `ping` of the microwave whilst they `cook` your breakfast. wouldnt stay here again if it was free!!!!

Absolutely loved the food and after we sat down for a nice meal , we went into the bar and had a few drinks and had great fun, the bar staff were very kind and welcoming , the beer garden out the front was lovely to sit in aswell, GREAT MUSIC

Booked a table yesterday referencing groupon voucher, yet turned up tonight to be told no longer accepting groupon vouchers ???Unbelievable !

Unfortunately this was the worst take away experience I’ve ever had! Hubby and I treated ourselves to an Indian take away after a long day at work, we chose Haveli because we recognised the name (it being a big restaurant and hotel) and we were willing to wait the 45-60 minute delivery for something a bit special. 50 minutes later we had a call that the delivery driver was lost – I had put in detailed instructions on how to find us because it’s a new build estate but in any case he wasn’t too far away and five minutes later he had arrived. We eagerly got stuck in to the ‘free for over £15’ onion bhajis – unfortunately they were cold. We then realised that the remainder of the food was lukewarm at best. We were surprised to find the £1 a portion poppadum’s was in fact just one mean little 6 inch poppadum (which later we found to be stale) but worst of all we were entirely missing one of the two curries we had ordered. I called the restaurant but was asked to ‘call back in five minutes!’ while our food was sitting on the table getting ever more cold. I finally spoke to the delivery driver (and whatever other role he plays in the take away) who acted like I was being totally unreasonable and unjust for being dissatisfied! He argued with me and apologised for nothing other than ‘that I felt this way’ about the terrible service, then acted as though in bringing out the absent curry that we had already paid for (and paid for the delivery of) that he would be doing me the biggest favour on earth! He actually referred to it as ‘making amends’!!! He even threatened to withhold it because he ‘knew I was going to leave a bad review’ based the fact that by now I was extremely cross…at least he was correct on that point!!! Totally spoilt our evening. Go anywhere else…or if you fancy an average curry you have to heat up yourself in the microwave save the £30, the 50 minute wait, the argument and all the frustration and get one from Tescos.

Vitually empty on a Friday evening.Terrible service , had to get own cutlery and condiments. Only wine was warm sweet , no draught beers or ciders. Poppadoms served without plates. Starters cold and tasteless , main courses , tasteless. Mine tasted like a cold stoddgy, spicy porrage. Every course took 20 + minutes to arrive. Left without dessert. Will never go back a recommend to avoid.

Brought a Groupon voucher for 4 people for the Haveli Restaurant and we were not disappointed,food was lovely and tasty,fab portion size,staff really polite...We will defo be returning for a meal without voucher as we all enjoyed the meal so much.

I was disappointed with the fact that early on in the party they had the small room with the pool table in, and then when more people turned up they closed it and it got very crowded, also when there was broken glass on the floor, instead of cleaning it up they walked straight past it!!

I had been given a Groupon token for afternoon tea (with an Indian twist) as a birthday present. As both my wife and myself like Indian food we were looking forward to what the Indian take on afternoon tea was going to consist of. As their hours for afternoon tea were 12.00-3.00pm????, I booked our tea for 12.00. When we arrived (at 12.00)the restaurant was locked and we had to go to the hotel reception (a walk outside of about 30 metres) to enquire why the restaurant was locked. The receptionist made enquiries and after a wait of 10 minutes we were informed the restaurant was open. We were the only two in the restaurant which is very spacious. We were then brought a pot of Indian tea and later a three layer cake stand, the bottom layer had six finger sandwiches, the middle layer four scones and the top layer two cup cake and six petite fours. The restaurant manager informed us that the Indian twist was the pot of Indian tea and the chicken tikka sandwiches. We were also informed there was an Indian dessert available if required, but after finishing our sandwiches/cakes, the manager had disappeared so after waiting some time to be served we left without staying for the dessert. The food was average and we were very disappointed in the Indian twist as we were expecting much more Indian content to this tea (after all it is an Indian Restaurant). Even with the Groupon token this is not value for money. There seems to be, as other reviewers have stated, a distinct lack of organisation at this hotel/restaurant as it seemed they were completely unprepared for our visit although I had previously booked.

The restaurant was quiet on the night We dined there it was fairly tasty and not a bad curry at all,really good selection of meals at a reasonable price good portions and nice and hot I would eat here again and possibly take friends

Brought my father to Haveli for a meal and while the food was superb and the staff friendly it always seems to be very quiet. Wouldn't put me off returning though, the fish pakora is highly recommended.

The Haveli Hotel is on the lines of a motel, with an attached Indian restaurant, It was a convenient location for my needs. Fairly cheap but it needs to be, nobody on reception when I arrived, waited about ten minutes then went to the 'bar' in the adjoining restaurant to ask where reception staff were, a fairly abrupt "he's gone out" was the response. She said she would find somebody, this somebody arrived five minutes later. Pleasant enough chap. Bedroom was clean and tidy, the usual expected items were there. The bar looked abysmal, akin to something out of 1960's Scotland (less the smoke!)no real ale appeared to be on offer, no comfortable seating. Didn't sample it.A fairly limited tasteless breakfast following morning.No body on reception for check-out, but as suggested I put the key through the letterbox.

Stayed at the hotel, came in for breakfast at this restaurant only to find the jug of milk had curdled.....did not stay for breakfast put it that way!!How long was that left??? Dirty place

My partner and I discovered the restaurant from a Groupon deal. We were first greeted by a waitress who seemed new to the workplace (in general, not just the restaurant business) She did not seem unfriendly, however, she did not know much about the dishes that were served or about any drinks. We've all been new once, this is fine - yet in a restaurant establishment, a little training would go a long way. However, other than this - the food was immaculate. Presented lovely, clean cutlery, fresh and beautiful tasting. We would definitely come again. We didn't mind being the only ones there as it was a quiet weekday. However, I would have enjoyed the experience more if the bar was quieter as we could hear a few drunken locals swearing across the bar (joining to the restaurant bar) which was quite annoying. Other than this, we couldn't complain and would definitely return. Perfect for parties, families and couples. Wonderful food and we were able to take home what we had left over. Thank you very much!

found this place and i have to say that i had an amazing time. we had everything we needed. Came with my family and there was things for all of us, restaurant (with great food) nice lounge, pool table ect.

For starters, the booking.com website says this hotel is 15 minutes from Cardiff and Swansea. This is a a massive understatement. The taxi journey took 25 minutes into Cardiff, costing £45, and the journey to Swansea takes around 45 minutes. This hotel is much further out than it lets on. Then its the unpleasant customer service. The manager was rude in handling a situation reporting a noise complaint to us. The manager saw us entering our rooms, obviously showing we had only just arrived at the hotel, and threatened to kick us out. Obviously the noise complaint was not about us as we had only just arrived (which he knew), but rather another group of people. However, he continued to threaten us anyway, despite actually addressing the group of people the noise complaint referred to. This made us feel very uncomfortable during our stay.Finally, in the morning upon returning our keys, there was no one at the reception desk, no one in the restaurant. No member of staff anywhere! After a good 20 minute wait, we just left our keys behind the reception desk and left.

I went to this place for a Bollywood night a few weeks ago and had a 3 course, the food was lovely. They also had fire dancers and Indian dancers that came on a few times, the dancers also got everyone involved which was nice as I wouldn't really know how to dance to Indian music. They had a live Dj and a photo booth which was a lot of fun, so overall had a brilliant time and can't wait to try the food again.

Went there on 6th of February for a function. Things were not right from the start. Car park was flooded so had to park at the side of the road. They organised a small dance session but the sound system was horrible. The dinner was supposed to be buffet but was not. instead of listening to customers the manager was bossing orders.The food, where to start, was horrible. Some were not cooked, some were half cook and some were burnt. All in all, it was complete waste of our time and money. Avoid it at all.

Terrible restaurant with rude manager and owner (i think he is called sam) who said f word to a customer. Half cooked frozen meat, burnt papadom and naan, inedible burnt saag dish, got a main meal item as starter, did not get what was ordered, was playing music with broken down sound system, rowdy football and rugby watching crowd. Flooded car park, broken down hot water tap in the toilet and floor was dirty. Only good thing was young waiters were still smiling despite manager/owner loosing it with letting the chaos rule. I will not go there even if you pay me and feed me free!

We checked in on Saturday at the hotel next door and were happy to see there was a place to eat as there was nothing else around as this is based on an industrial estate.The restaurant is indian cuisine but we were advised by the receptionist that they also can provide bar meals (three people in our party didn't like spicy food) so we booked a table for the eight of us. He also advised that they did full english breakfast for £6.00 per person so we also booked in for that too. We arrived in the restaurant which was empty apart from one other table of 6 people, to be given two tables placed together, a rectangular one and a circular one which was a bit odd as there were bigger tables set out but I guess they didn't want us using these?? We took our seats and the young waitress came over and gave us menus and took our drinks orders. The menu's were prodominantley indian food but there was a continental section with grilled chicken which two of our party opeted for and we ordered a childrens chicken nuggets and chips.After about half an hour, two plates of poppadoms arrived which we hadn't ordered. After another 15 minutes wait, I called the waitress over to ask when our food would be arriving. She explained that there was only one chef and they'd been really busy. We had been in there since 8.30pm and it was only our table of eight and the other table mentioned earlier so not exactly busy! I then asked if it was possbile to have the childs meal asap as by this time 9.45pm, she was starting to get tired.Within a few minutes she arrived with the childs meal and immediately I could see it wasn't what we had ordered - the so call chicken nuggets were actually 3 peices of chicken tikka, covered in some kind of pale tempura batter. Even I wouldn't eat them, it looked disgusting! The side salad that came with the meal was covered in a dressing, again not asked for.A few minutes after this meal was bought to our table the waitress came out again and apologised and advised us after nearly an hours wait, that there was no grilled chicken and would we like to choose something else. Why we hadn't been notified of this alot earlier I really don't know. We agreed to change the order to two lots of scampi and the waitress offered us a round of drinks on the house. By this time, none of us really wanted a drink and just asked if the food could be bought out as soon as possible.Unbelievably, a few more minutes later the waitress was back again and advised there was no scampi either. She was so apologetic as it really wasn't her fault and we all felt so sorry for her. By this time is was nearly 10.15pm so we just asked for the outstanding items that were on order and two bowls of chips, which did come out soon after.However, we were missing a bowl of mushroom rice and when we asked where this was, we were advised there were no mushrooms!! The food we had was well cooked but by this time, we'd all gone past eating!When we finished and the bill finally arrived, all drinks had been taken off and we hadn't been charged for the two meals that didn't arrive.The following morning we were very skeptical about going back for breakfast. We arrived at the restaurant at 9.45am (breakfast was 7-10am). As we walked in to the empty room, the lady in the restaurant looked at us very funny and asked what we were doing there. We advised we'd booked in the night before and paid for breakfast but she said she hadn't been notified! She then said that she could do us eggs, bacon and sausage but some might have less than others but we could help ourselves to cereal. We decided as time was getting on, to just go with it as there was nothing else in the area.We were told to sit at the same two tables we were at the night before, as that was the breakfast table. This still had used napkins on from previous people and the lady just disappeared into the kitchen.We cleared the table of the dirty napkins and found clean cutlery and set it ourselves. We were also advised to help ourselves to tea/coffee and a few of the cups were dirty.when the first two plates came out, they had one sausage, one peice of bacon and one fried egg (no option how you wanted your egg cooking!), beans and one round of toast cut in two. The lady then walked out of the buidling on the telephone and no more meals arrived.A few minutes later, a man arrived with extra supplies and she started cooking again. This time another two plates were bought out and had two sausages, two fried eggs, one slice of bacon, two halves of one mushroom, half a tomato, beans and a slice of toast. We then thought that the next plates were going to come out but she went back to cooking again?? Basically, for some bizarre reason, the lady didn't seem to be able to cook the food all together so we could eat together and we ate in staggered slots, ten mins apart! She did apologise for the hassle and the breakfast was fine.All in all, an 'amusing' experience. Annoying thing is that the food we did manage to get on both occasions was really nice. Just very badly managed and the poor people dealing with the customers looks very embarressed. Certainly needs someone to up their game and manage correctly

I know they've changed chef recently, and honestly, the food was great! Personally I don't care that on our visit we were the only ones. I loved our experience. Staff let us chill out afterwards and stay as long as we wanted. Felt extremely welcome. Definately going back for their Bollywood night!

Just returned home from this Indian restaurant. Arrived on a cold night and asked to sit near a radiator. We were told they weren't on but if we sat in the corner table it was warm as there was a tiny blower heater there. The corner was dark and wasn't easy seeing the menu. The waitress was pleasant and took our drink orders. My glass of Rose arrived with 2 ice cubes in it !! our Starters were good, the plates for the main meal arrived -stone cold ! I asked if they could be warmed and was told the plate warmer was broken. Our meals arrived, i'd ordered lamb Korai - which in other restaurants i've been to normally comes on a sizzling plate. This arrived in a bowl that looked like a lamb casserole !! Pieces of lamb in gravy .Not a good flavour. Disappointing. The rest of the family said theirs was ok nothing special.We won't go back

It's seems generally a nice place as its only up the road from us.... We found the offer on groupon so jumped at the chance. We visited on a Saturday night and it was so quiet but very cold in there. Good food though!

We love this family run resteraunt, it's food is delicious and vegans and veggies are very well catered for. Always made to feel welcome and we would highly recommend it to others.Can't wait for their Bollywood night March 5th.....

The whole stay felt a bit odd. The reception was only open during the day and you have to ring for help during the night. I think all the other occupants were builders ect staying on business and the rooms were very noisy. Looking out of the bathroom window all you could see was chickens in a neighbours garden.The shower and toilet seat were both broken which we complained about but were told there was nothing that could be done and they couldn't move us.I wouldn't recommend this hotel to couples or families but would be ok for cheap business accommodation

Visited here for the speedway gp. Very quite not much to do. But as somewhere just to sleep it's good.

Called here on a random,,, no food available, no bar staff,, waited 10 mins for someone to turn up , so I gave up and went to a normal running place nearby !!!!

Went here last night with my wife for a meal. Was made to feel very welcome by the polite and attentive staff. The food was amazing and fresh. Very good value and the drinks were a reasonable price. I highly recommend the Haveli Restaurant and will certainly be going back for more!

Regularly visit the Haveli with both friends and my children. Always receive a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Well presented and always spotlessly clean.Have never had a meal we haven't enjoyed whether we've chosen Indian cuisine or British and find the bar prices great value.

A little quirt but as a place overall really happy. Good value for money. Food was nice and god customer service. Only critisn would be it was a little quiet how ever personaly I don't mind that.

I really enjoyed my time at the restaurant. The food was the best Indian i have ever had, it was a very clean and tidy place, the staff was very welcoming and served with manors and there was a lot of space there. Definitely recommend!
