HAUS in Maldon

Me and my partner got the Ribeye steak - wouldn't recommend Both not cooked med-rare + Truffle potato's had no truffle in them. Even heard the table next to us complaining about their dry steaks Deserts were very nice.

Had a lovely evening at haus, food and service was great. We had the rib eye steak and was cooked perfectly. Chefs and front of house were more than happy to made any adaptations to the food. Amazing night would recommend and will definitely be returning!!

A beautiful restaurant with incredible Food. Me and my partner booked at is restaurant near valentines and we’re very happy with the whole experience. Lovely girl called Jade served us and was vigilant all evening. Food was expensive but well worth every penny. Best restaurant I have ever eaten at.

We visited on a Thursday and had the Market Menu. The food was fantastic and excellent value, the restaurant is beautiful too. We had a lovely evening and highly recommend, will be back soon!

We visited for first time today for Sunday lunch...we opted for the Sharing Roast Platter - everything about it was just perfect...all cooked to perfection - staff are really welcoming and attentive - you should be very proud of your great team 'Haus' ...highly recommend 👌

Amazing dining experience! HAUS is exactly what Maldon has been missing!! The food was delicious, staff were both attentive and polite, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely. We will definitely be returning!

What a lovely place you are Haus! my friends and I had a fab night, led by the wonderful host and owner Julian, along with his team, who went out of his way for us. In addition, the food was delicious and inventive.. can't wait to go back!

First visit to Haus and already looking forward to returning.. just a few tiny details missed (like not tasting wine before being poured and our food was brought out a little too quickly without enough time between courses) but these were relatively minor and didn’t spoil a lovely visit. Staff are super friendly and welcoming and food was honestly the best we’ve had anywhere in Maldon for a long time.. highly recommended

A super range of unusual and tasty dishes, which are served as each plate is ready. Great for sharing, we ordered a few dishes and then a few more. The smoked oysters were amazing! The wine choices were carefully selected also, all good. UPDATE … Have been back twice over recent months and the service, ambience, menu choice (which has evolved) and quality of cooking is excellent. This is a great venue for a romantic meal, special occasion or a self indulgent meal ! FYI not for children.

Loved Haus! We ate there for Sunday lunch, great service, great food and very cosy on a very damp Sunday. Excellent value for such a quality offering, a real asset to our town.

Truly excellent quality food. We went for a birthday meal, not realising that Sunday lunch is Sunday roast. Well, we were very lucky! Vegetarian and older attendees were well catered for, the portions were generous without being excessive, and the quality of the food was excellent. Staff were busy but attentive and patient. Kind and friendly, and the general ambience was very pleasant. Eating out is generally expensive these days, but I felt the meal was good value for money. There was piped music, which was not unpleasant and not so loud as to affect conversation (especially for our older party member). The general decor and ambience is pleasant and interesting, and not only is the food locally sourced, but so are items of crockery etc. All in all a really good lunch, and we will absolutely be back. 100%.

We came for a Sunday lunch and wasn’t disappointed. The atmosphere was lovely, beautiful decor and the most delicious food. We had 3 courses which were all wonderful, the service was great and we will definitely be back!

First visit to Haus has ben a dream. Food by chef Michael is phenomenal and the espresso martinis by Ashley are the best I’ve ever had. Great vibe, music and food. Thank you for a fabulous Friday Julian and your Haus team!

We went for lunch to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Had a really nice time. Food was excellent and the service was very good. Will definitely be going back. The only issue we had was parking. Being a Saturday Maldon was busy and parking can be difficult.

Went here for the first time - what they have done with the restaurant is amazing - decor and all round appearance of the restaurant was great - modern and stylish. The food was excellent - good quality and something a bit different - good value for money. Drinks were well priced and the wine selection was very good. The new owners couldn’t have been more accommodating - nothing was too much trouble - couldn’t fault the service - we will definitely be back - a great addition with a bit of class to the town.

Had a fantastic evening at Haus it was a real treat , food was delicious and the service was helpful friendly and efficient nothing was too much trouble. Can definitely recommend and will be going back.

The moment you walk through the door you know you’re in for a treat. All of our party had the roast dinner and the taste was amazing. The selection of wines is very good. I can recommend the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Julian really looked after us and looking forward to going back.

Had a lovely meal here at the weekend. Highly recommend if you enjoy fine dining food! 😊

Wines a but on the expensive side

Venue is decorated beautifully, food is delicious. All food, drinks and treatment is highest quality. Will return and recommend.
