Hatch 77 in Barnet

Nadine Jean-Pierre Dine in | Breakfast | £20–30 Absolutely never going back. Upon arriving into restaurant was greeted by a lady. I asked her for a table for one. I was ushered to a sit opposite door and was not given no menu. Then not long after a English gentleman walked in and sat next to me and was given a menu straight away. I'm not one to pull the race card but my experience there was not great. I called the staff for a menu and was ignored. The English gentleman noticed I was being ignored and offered me his menu. They eventually gave me a menu. I ordered a cappuccino, traditional breakfast and apple juice. The breakfast was lukewarm, cappuccino was warm. The staff spoke to me like they could not understand me, as if I was speaking a different language. I was speaking clearly! I sent back the cappuccino and even that took explaining that the drink was lukewarm. I eventually got back a somewhat warmer drink. Overall the food is over priced the stuff treat tourists and anyone that is of a certain race with the up most respect. While the customer service for a black woman is 0%. I will NEVER GO there again and will be sharing this all over social media!!

La atención fue correcta por parte del personal hasta el momento de pedir la cuenta. Nos indicaron cuanto debíamos pagar sin entregarnos un justificante. Pagamos debidamente casi 40 libras y al entregarnos el cambio solicitamos el ticket y nos tocó esperar.... Al ver que insistíamos sacaron un ticket y nos dijeron que "Ay.... No es correcto el importe que les hemos cobrado", y casualidad.... A su favor.... eran casi 10 libras....Que por supuesto nos devolvieron en efectivo... Y no fue una equivocación.... Me gustaría poder hablar del lugar y/o de la comida pero cuando uno ve como le tratan de engañar pues obviamente ni volveremos ni podré dar una buena reseña. y lo siento de veras...

Freshly baked cakes, wide range of egg-based breakfast and especially good coffee. Hospitality in highest level and very friendly staff. Our best breakfast in London!

Petit déjeuner traditionnel anglais absolument délicieux. Pancakes, avocado toasts, smoothies, tout donne envie !! Assiettes généreuses et magnifiques. Le cadre est également très agréable.

Goat cheese salad was excellent (cheese and walnuts toasted). Attentive service. Optimal price for a light and healthy lunch.

We visited every day for breakfast on a recent London visit. Good range of breakfast options and good coffee and lovely service. We weren't the only people to revisit, so they must be doing something right!

I had my birthday party here on Friday, 18 of us in total. We had a really fabulous time - the staff couldn’t do enough for us, and the food and wine were excellent. Service was friendly and efficient, and there was live blues music too. We will be back for next year’s party! Thank you to all at Hatch 77.

What a lovely place! Gorgeous food and the best fresh orange juice! We went here twice during our stay for breakfast - both times we just waited a few minutes for a table and it was absolute worth it!

What a place. A amazing food, incredibly open and friendly staff. The owner and his wife could not have been nicer. The food was gorgeous, smashed avocado on toast was lovely. For my wife, the cleanliness of the toilets tells her everything about how much people care and in this case they were immaculate. Well done Hatch 77! We will be back!!

I have to say I can’t believe how excited I am! Went here last year for lunch ( Eggs Benedict) best ever, and again for a late night cocktail My sister in law lives just across the road, and I’m due to visit again in May— months away! —- but, of all the things planned for my visit, I just can’t wait to go back to Hatch 77 again. Wonderful people, wonderful food and brilliant cocktails! Forget the overpriced ‘posh’ restaurants, you won’t find better—- as I said, I can’t wait!!! See you in a few months, don’t ever change!

Good food; solicitous, friendly, and agreeable owner (my best guess). Nice list of cocktails, which is becoming rarer and rarer in Blighty 🤮. Rather nice vibe about the place. Dinner was pleasant but the breakfast/brunch food is delicious.

Obliging owner arranged for me to eat a brunch that was not on menu. It arrived in a timely fashion and was hot and tasty. Thank you very much. Huge cuppa tea. Felt it offered value for money. Good feel atmosphere and pleasant music which did not overwhelm our conversation. Clean toilets.

Nipped in, on the off chance for late breakfast/lunch. Never been before. Whole experience was a very pleasant surprise. Not sure why I say this but “far better than I expected” Once again not even sure why I say this. Nice “warm friendly” environment, and very happy indeed with the good and great value for money prices. Had quite a chat to one of the business owners. Enjoyed the whole experience. Had never been before but sure will re-visit. Very happy indeed.

They can’t even cook scrambled egg properly. First time was so awful I asked them take it back, the second attempt I think was a rearrangement of the first attempt. Then they offered me a refund but short-changed me!

Highly recommend this restaurant. A couple of days in London and this finished it off, in style. The breakfast here was amazing, as was the service. We were at Mr White's the day before, and the service was nothing compared to The Hatch.

We decided to eat at Hatch 77 after seeing some fab reviews online. We arrived at 9:30 and it was rather busy, we were welcomed warmly and a table was made available for the 5 of us and our suitcases were stowed away so we have plenty of room. The food choice was excellent but I needed some stodge knowing I wouldn't eat until later that day, so I opted for a breakfast. The food coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic. Coffee was hot and strong, perfect, and the orange juice was supper fresh. The food was fresh and delicious and would recommend going if you are passing.

Great service, Big Ben breakfast was superb and Morning Glory with feta and chilli jam also superb. Service was quick and the place was spotless.

Only discovered this place yesterday as we were room only at our hotel and this place was a few yards down the road what a gem! Staff lovely food delious great value and great relaxing atmosphere. Hopefully we stay round area again as will definitely be going back.

Just wanted a quick bite after a long journey and certainly not disappointed. I had Eggs Benedict and my husband had an open smoked salmon sandwich—- both were perfect. Would have been happy to go back for at least another meal, but, other commitments didn’t allow. Did pop in for a very boozy Espresso Martini one evening tho—- would have been more than happy to do that again too!!

What a great breakfast! Really tasty, but also beautiful set up. The place is also really nice! Definitely worth of visit.

Simple & fresh! Lovely relaxed vibe, friendly staff and yummy food… good selection of light bites with hot and cold drinks. Coffee was perfect!

£16 for a rather mediocre breakfast, small portions and that doesn't include the tea. you cannot be serious.

Had a lovely full English, nice place to sit and enjoy breakfast not far from busy Victoria Station. Weather was nice and seating outside available. Lovely skinny flat white and very friendly owner and staff. What a way to start yet another day in London.

I am not a morning person, but the staff actually made me enjoy mornings, and I would look forward to breakfast. The food was excellent and a different take on the usual. We visited every morning of our stay and still had more choices. All...

We were looking for another place for brunch when we stumbled upon Hatch 77 in Wilton Road, near Victoria Station. Lucky break! Terrific food, good service and a decent price. We'll be back

They haven’t gave me a table becouse I was alone. They have find the place instantaneously for a couple just before me. And outside was raining

Great spot for breakfast in the heart of Pimlico. Popped in for breakfast on Saturday 9th April. Brilliant menu selection that caters for everyone. Speedy service, friendly staff and amazing value for money. We will be back!

My friend and I had pancakes and french toast for breakfast and they were both delicious! Big portions and the food came quite quickly. All the staff were super nice and welcoming and it was the perfect way to start the day.

Had breakfast a couple of times at this place due to it being in a great location for us during our stay in London. Coffee, OJ and the breakfast were great and the staff were extremely pleasant. Highly recommend!

Went here twice during my stay in London and absolutely loved it! Food/drinks were to an excellent standard and it was well priced! The service was excellent, shame I wasn’t in London longer to try more of the menu!

Popped in here to avoid our hotel breakfast and very glad we did. Really nice food! We had the Cypriot breakfast, the eggs benedict and the omelet. All delicious with really fresh ingredients. A little disappointed that they had no gluten-free bread as the menu...

Stopped by for a smoothie and ordered the Billie, which claims to have frozen yoghurt, cacao, strawberry, banana and chia seeds. Really disappointed when I tasted it as it was basically cheap strawberry milk with chia seeds. Absolutely no fresh fruit in there nor cacao...
