Harvester Wheatsheaf Coleshill in North Warwickshire

We have just returned home from a great meal at the Harvester. The food was well cooked and presented. The salad bar was fresh and fully stocked with all options available. Our waitress called Jo, who was helpful, friendly and very efficient, nothing was too much trouble for her.

Waited for ages ,staff seemed distant, they forgot the order of one of our group.chicken stack was dry and hard and the fork would not go in the chips and coleslaw was dry.salad bar was virtually empty.bread was hard.the corn bread was greasy.

The harvester Coleshill as become a bit of a local for breakfast and lunch, taking advantage of the deals on the harvester app. The food is mostly lovely, apart from the beans on the breakfast not been very warm and in spite of mentioning it, they still always come out Luke warm. The staff are very friendly and polite and eager to help, added bonus been able to take out pooch in bar area, which is very nice and comfortable.

11/3/2025 My friend and I had lunch today. The food was exceptional. Hot and fresh . The service was superb considering the resurant was very busy. Compliments to all the staff. Now that's what I call team work . I have only ever had one bad meal a few weeks ago. I didn't complain to the staff but it almost put me off returning. I'm glad it didn't complain as today's meal made up for my previous disappointment. I can highly recommend The Harvester in Coleshill. Thank you I'll be back soon 👍🏼

Great food with spot on service

Food was amazing and the service matched! Been here a few times over the last few months and it’s never failed. Big thank you to Emma-Louise for always going more than the extra mile. She’s happened to be our waitress on most visits and she’s always absolutely flawless from start to finish regardless of a quiet or busy restaurant!

An Unforgettable 21st Birthday – Thanks to Rhianna! Millie spent her 21st birthday at work, so I wanted to make sure she had a proper celebration! I rallied together our colleagues, her team, and her family to pull off a surprise meal at Harvester – and it couldn’t have gone better. A huge thank you to Rhianna, our waitress, who made the entire experience incredible. She was polite, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. Her beautiful smile and infectious attitude brought such a positive energy to the evening, making Millie’s birthday even more special. She truly went out of her way to ensure we had the best time! The food was spot on, and with 50% off main meals through the Harvester app, it worked out at just £10 per head for 14 of us – amazing value for such a fantastic meal. We've been here again and as usual the weekend staff are on it. The kitchen staff were busy but the wait wasn't bad at all. The salad bar was empty for most of the evening. I stood waiting for pasta carrots and coleslaw. After about ten minutes I went and sat down. My meal was served as the salad bar was topped up. This is unusual here as they are usually on it over the weekend. If we go in the week it's never great. But if we go over the weekend the staff are usually brilliant and have worked there for years. Thanks Jemma, Emma, Emma Lou and Diane Table 11 ladies. 😃😃

This was our first time here, food was amazing for the price, staff were brilliant, coffee was good, and my lunchtime date looked gorgeous 😘

Enjoyed a family meal for a 90th birthday

Went for breakfast with my husband and daughter. Ordered toast to along side our food. When the waitress brought our toast it was more like warm bread. My daughter asked if it could be toasted some more , to which the waitress huffed and removed. When brought back it was still no better!!! My daughter left it. After that we found the waitresses to be rude. Other than that the food was lovely.

Reasonably priced, food has always been nice. Lovely staff and comfortable atmosphere. Only negative toilets could do with being better maintained.

We went for lunch today, and the atmosphere was so relaxed and welcoming. I had the chicken skewer and it was delicious my other half had the rotisserie chicken and he really enjoyed that too! The girl that served us was lovely! Definitely recommend this place 😊 **Edit** We went today and I had the chicken, bacon and waffle and oh my goodness it was amazing! I had the new choux bun with ice cream and fresh strawberries to finish and it was delicious, once again the staff were lovely.

Waited 30 mins to be asked what we wanted and the waited another 40 mins to get our order .no salad and no bread rolls

We came in on 2nd Jan for my son’s birthday. Emma Lou served us and was fantastic -she really made him feel special on his birthday! Food and service great! Will be back x

We pop in to this Harvester about once a week. Staff are friendly especially Gemma who looks after us on most of our visits.

A comprehensive menu with changing dishes. The “ribs” made from corn on the cob especially tasted good. Fish and chips were also solid, unfortunately a bit bland. The salad bar is a really good idea. The service is top. Very friendly staff

We love meeting at the Harvester, all the staff are so lovely and friendly. Jemma is fantastic, she always looks after us really well. Jas is a great chef, the halloumi and chips I had today were perfect!

Food overpriced and small portions. Garlic bread inedible, no taste of garlic and too thin. Southern fried chicken tasteless.

Gemma was lovely and very attentive this afternoon. They were really busy but everything we asked for was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Thank you, a very pleasant experience and one we will repeat again

Very slow service food is pretty good though. There is only 1 worker there I would NOT go here again.

The baby changing is absolutely disgusting. There is a bin for nappies which is full to overflowing with excrement dripping down. There must be at least 2 weeks worth of nappies in that bin so clearly staff must be aware. Do not visit if you care about hygiene in the slightest.

We visit this restaurant as family all the time. They are always incredible kind and courteous. I have allergies and they tackle my allergies so efficiently. Highly recommend this place. Loved Jemma and Val, they are really valuable staff and the staff are the real reason we keep coming back Wonderful service

I had requested a specific table for the 10 of us but Mark took the time to call me beforehand and recommended another space for us so we would be more comfortable and the table/ area he chose was perfect. Jemma was our host and she was absolutely wonderful. We had the most amazing food and nothing was too much trouble. We weren’t rushed and the food came out altogether and we had a fabulous time. I had bought three birthday cakes for my parents and gran’s birthdays and they timed it perfectly and made them all feel incredibly special. Jemma was the perfect host and deserves a special mention but all the team were amazing. Thank you - we will definitely be back x

We had a fantastic experience dining out tonight to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with a group of 12. Gemma, our server, made the evening exceptional. From start to finish, she was incredibly attentive and polite, ensuring we had everything we needed without any wait. Her friendly attitude made us feel welcome and at ease, and she truly went above and beyond to make the evening special. We were so impressed with her professionalism and kindness; the company is lucky to have someone like Gemma on their team!

We always have a nice meal when we go to the Wheatsheaf, however this time it was very good - we found the two staff that we dealt with were very engaging, helpful, happy and efficient. The greeting was good and the food was good quality. Sadly I cannot remember the name of our server

Called in on Monday 23rd September, 24. Excellent service from Jemma who was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable of the dishes on offer. Our meals arrived promptly and steak cooked as requested, the salad bar was well stocked and varied. I mentioned it was my birthday and Jemma appeared with an ice cream beautifully presented with strawberry and blueberry decoration plus lighted candle. Above and beyond our expectation and thank you Jemma for the thoughtful addition to our lovely meal.

This is just the place to go if you are in need of some lovely comfort food and a nice meal out. It’s a family friendly restaurant with a homely, cozy design and layout and the food never disappoints. When it comes to children, the kids menu is great! It’s very good for the price — your little one can create their own meal with a choice of a main, two sides and a dessert for £6.49 (smaller bites), £7.49 (bigger apatites), and £8.49 (harvester recommendations). A free unlimited salad comes with this too! The unlimited salad bar is one of my favourite things about this place and i would recommend it highly due to this. Another reason i highly recommend is because of their vegetarian options. I am a fan of their Beyond Dirty burger for vegetarians. It’s a big burger which packs a punch, if you have a small apatite it will be hard to get this down!

Jemma is a legend. She remembers our drinks orders, dietary requirements etc. and is a genuine ray of sunshine. Love her (We booked Xmas day on her recommend. Can’t wait not to have to cook and clean up!) Had an amazing meal today, the food was excellent, and the service, as always, is exceptional. Really busy, peak time but every member of staff didn’t stop. 100% recommend. You’re very lucky to have such brilliant staff, there Harvester bosses. Hope they are appreciated.

As always, the mains were cooked and served lovely. Ordered from both menus and service from Ellie was fab. We ordered 2 ice-creams with lemon and a side of merengue. I ordered the waffle with banana, ice-cream, toffee and chocolate sauce which was going to be put on the new menu - it was fabulous - highly recommended 🍦🍧🍨

Once again, I deviated from the route to stop for lunch. There is a place to park, delicious food and atmosphere.

Always a pleasant experience when ever we come in here usually on a Friday after work as we work down the road had our order taken by Emma who is always very polite and easy to talk to and she always has the most beautiful smile too making the experience that little bit better love coming for food and a few drinks here the service is always spot on

Went for a meal yesterday with my partner around lunch time. We were served yesterday by a lovely woman called Casey. So helpful and bubbly, definitely worth visiting. Food was amazing as usual Thank you!

£23 for a 'cut' of chicken, a 'bit' of steak and some plate fillers for a mixed grill. Chicken was dry and the steak full of water. Been a while since being at a harvester... Nothing has changed unfortunately.

Lovely server so bubbly and one the reasons we keep coming back. Food was good just chilli's too big so was very hot. Need more dessert options like rhubarb crumble.

Long wait to be seated east probably 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged we were there and apologised. Service at table was great, but sounds like you should listen to your staff and upgrade the WiFi, constant struggles with the tech. I had dirty chicken burger, chicken and hash brown was only decent bit and they were only just acceptable. Chicken was over cooked. But the burger bun was one of the worst I've ever eaten, stale, tasteless, dry. Chips were average too, not very crisp. Will never have another burger in Harvester. Used to use one in Nuneaton a lot but it got to the point where food quality was lowering and we stopped visiting. Based on this I'm not rushing back.

The staff are rude, the service is awful. We heard the staff making jokes about a lady and her children. It took half an hour for a child’s meal. I would not recommend visiting!
