on ordering it said 30-45mins but it was actually 1hr 5mins getting here.

Nice place. There are not many items on the menu, but it is understandable as they were closing for refurbishment on Monday. Food was lovely and filling. Floor was lovely. Catered for lots of people.

Great restaurant and reasonably priced for the food you get. Staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Food always good and their salads are always fresh and plentiful.

Generic mass produced food that you could tell was frozen moments before it arrived to you. Salad bar messy, poorly stocked and took a long time to be refilled. So many options unavailable on the menu, at only 6:45pm. Considering the low quality of the food, value for money is not great. Staff were lovely and very apologetic,our waitress even made us a bit of a custom Sundae as she was clearly apologetic about the lack of options. Good activity pack for the kids. Overall an expensive and disappointing experience though.

Love coming to the harvester. Great food, lovely atmosphere. Wheelchair friendly. A car park at the front and back. Lovely garden to sit in too. My criticism every time is that service is slow. The waitresses are super lovely, but it takes ages to get the bill. A QR code to pay would be a great solution.

Poor quality food chicken tasted off and ruined the meal

The food was very nice. There were a number of ppl in eating. We didn't book, but it is advisable to do it.

Hopelessly understaffed. Food when it finally came fair, with the exception of childs haddock, chips, and peas The peas were sent back as they were completely dried up. Although the staff tried, we had to ask for cutlery and condiments. Very poor and not up to Usual Harvester high standards.

We were pleased with everything, understandable that some items were not available due to an upcoming refit, just a little disappointed. The service was friendly but we did have to wait a white to be served, then a wait for the meal & a wait for the bill, but the waitress was busy, was difficult to catch her attention. The way the bill was calculated saved us money which was great but was not explained so we had to question it, appreciative though on saving us money as a group

Although they never had a full menu as closing in 2 weeks for refurbishment we still had a good meal and a lovely time catching up with friends. We wasn’t rushed out the door once we paid either.

Just in there for a few drinks was nice.

Wonderful staff managed to accommodate us even though extremely busy. Made a wet miserable day a lot better.

We were in a family group for a wake after a family funeral that morning.

Food was spot on. Plenty on plate and the added bonus with the salad bar. Timely served . Atmosphere was a family one. Definitely again. Our host was Michelle K, very polite and happy lady, looked after us very well . Thank you Michelle.

Food was lovely, service was a little slow but then it was a Saturday lunch time and there were lots of visitors so was expected. Kids eat for £1 during half term which was a nice surprise.

I came for a meal earlier this evening with my family and Kelly was our waiter. We were really impressed with his fantastic customer service. Very friendly and helpful and he made us feel very at ease in your restaurant. We enjoyed our food and left very happy :)

Had a lovely meal today at the Harvester in Plymouth. Our server Kelly was phenomenal. Nothing was too much trouble for him (even when the tills didn’t like the vouchers on the app). He was attentive and helpful. Even in the heat we had today he worked his butt off. It was very busy (which proves how good it was) resulting in slight waits between courses and getting the bill. Food was lovely as always. Already looking forward to our next visit… let’s hope the ice cream machine is working though!

Just wanted to update the review as we went recently on 20th July for a birthday meal. As usual the service was great, our server Katie was in training and was lovely, she was patient while we decided what to have and was polite and helpful. She even told us about an offer on the Harvester app so we saved on the meal. She's a credit to the restaurant. We'll hopefully be back again in August for the next family birthday.

Great all you can eat breakfast.

The food was delicious, good quality and big portions. The prices are really reasonable for whst you get. Our waitress evie was very polite and helpfull will definetly be visiting again

The restaurant was very busy and felt a bit claustrophobic. And so many people trying to talk at the same time, just got louder & louder. But then I am a grumpy old man.

Awesome as always we get 110 percent great service the staff are like old friends and so welcoming service is great and value amazing

Haven’t been here in years, when we was seated we had to use napkins to clean the seat as there was sauce on it, was given bowls for the salad bar and had to ask for another bowl as it was dirty, I ordered cheesy garlic bread for starters and chicken burger with bacon for the main and the burger just wasn’t all that, to be honest it felt like it could have been cooked a few minutes longer and the salt was so damp it wouldn’t come out the shaker

If I'm being 100% honest, the Harvester is one of my least favourite places to eat. The food that comes from the kitchen is OK, but it is quite a dirty establishment. The salad bar is absolutely disgusting, full of children sticking their hands into the salad and dumping it on their plate. Staff are okay though, and quite quick service. Still don't come here.

Our visit to The Unicorn-Harvester was amazing. It was a friendly environment that had some nice design to it. The staff were amazing but one of the most amazing staff members was Stacy she made the visit amazing by speaking kindly to my family, joking about with us and just being overall above and beyond. Well done to Stacy!

Had a lovely family meal to celebrate my birthday. Booked online and mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. The table had a couple of banners on it which was a nice gesture. Stacy our server was brilliant, friendly and helpful. Food was great, the mixed grill was the biggest I've ever seen. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

Decent Harvester and reasonably priced. Location is a bit odd.

An excellent environment with a wonderful friendly service and very accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble for waitress Skye and colleague. A great menue choice of delicious food and most enjoyable,making my Daughter's 40th birthday a fantastic celebration.

First time visit.... Ideal for a quick bite of "pub grub". Service from all the staff we met was friendly, professional and quick. Very busy night for the chefs for sure, but all the food came out in quick time and cooked well. Portion size is great for good eaters, too much for me to manage all of it for sure. Michelin star? On Thursday 11 July at 6:30pm . We booked a table for 4 at this place we arrived in time and stood for several minutes. To be greeted by someone who said they would be with us in a couple of seconds, 10 minutes later we were still waiting. After a few minutes more we left. As we left the car park we had a text to say we were late and the booking was cancelled. We went to the Beefeater along the road had a lovely meal and spent £106 + we tipped another £15 You really need to get your act together people

Okay food but quite expensive for what it is the deserts are the best thing

Went to harvester Plympton. Poor staff run off their feet as they had a funeral party in. But food was prob one the best I tasted. I asked the chef to top up the salad and he did in timely manner. Jacs was lovely throughout and we had a laugh with her. In restaurants, you need a laugh. Everyone is human and not a robot. The manager unfortunately doesn't know the menu, as she said something wasn't on there when it was. But jacs was our server and was pleasant throughout. We will visit again soon.

Went to collect a too good to go bag which states half a rotisserie chicken with salad and rolls costing £4.79 when collected received a chicken leg and pot of salad which was more chick peas and olives Don't bother with a too good to go bag.

Food was lovely but service was appalling, restaurant wasn't that busy I've been when it was much busier and received better service, waitress acted like she didn't want to be there. Took her so long to bring the bill it was ridiculous 🙄

Food was as usual, wife's steak was as spot on. Salad bar was not restocked often enough. Very noisy and boisterous family restaurant, but big enough you can ask to be moved.

We came here for a family meal it was on half price offer. When arrived greeted by the staff and Stacey took our orders and she was friendly and caring. The menu for the mains had so much choice very enjoyable cooked to perfection! Must say the atmosphere was nice and warm welcoming from everyone. Salad was delicious! Thank you very much Stacy who waited on us the evening. Can't wait to visit the Harvester again soon!

The waitress we had was fantastic, I would have loved to tip her for her service but she was busy while I was paying and didn’t catch her name , she brought a candle out with my mums dessert (it was her birthday) and spoke to my little girl with such fondness , it made our experience better . We all enjoyed the food , the salad bar was pretty empty looking when we got there but still worth the pennies .
