Fantastic quick service, all staff were very polite and so helpful. The biggest half a chicken I’ve ever seen and so tasty. Lovely food. My kids love it here too.

Food was great. Only thing was the peppercorn sauce wasnt very nice. Other than that, no complaints at all. Our server, kathy, was absolutely fantastic and couldnt do enough for us.

I had a bad experience here a few years ago but decided to give another try. I honestly have no complaints. Staff are absolutely lovely, welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best they can provide. Without a doubt they have improved massively. The food is gorgeous and they have so many options to pick from. The staff are also very cautious with allergies which is a nice change as I’ve got a red meat allergy. This is my top pick for food when in Carmarthen. Will definitely be coming back!!

Unfortunately I've had to amend my review of Harvester. My rating for the food is not due to quality, the food here is always lovely. However, it is due to availability. Harvester's USP is their Rotisserie Chicken. On more occasions than not that I've visited, they have never had any. This has made myself and my party leave on more than one occasion after only being seated for a few minutes. This may seem a small thing to complain about, but the fact that one of the main draws to visit is not always available is a major disappointment. The restaurant is also not willing to compromise when it comes to substituting it for something else. I understand this will be a corporate policy (or at the very least I hope it is) and I don't blame the staff for this. But lack of flexibility caused us to leave and go to another restaurant. I know this doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things and definitely caused Harvester zero harm, but it was disappointing nonetheless. If you're not bothered about the Rotisserie Chicken, then come. But understand your menu options are more than decimated.

Bad Service my Kids Chicken burger was bad coudnt bite it pasta is terrible only 4 Pieces if pasta unbeliveable Again😂service might not come

We are regulars and come with our daughter when she comes to stay with us. I have digestive issues with food allergies and intolerances. They always take good care of me and nothing is too much trouble. I am able to have food choices which is great. The food is always tasty and cooked well. We usually book in advance to make sure we can have a table in the part of the restaurant we like. They take our Blue Light NHS discount card too which is a bonus.

Turned up at 8pm only to be told that they were shut and finished serving food ,the website says they are open until 9pm ,obviously could not be bothered to do any more work ,will not return

Came in for food today and it was absolutely amazing! Service was fantastic and management were so so friendly. Will definitely be back for food that was not only delicious but also good value.

Came in for mothers day and the experience was excellent! Our server was really friendly and made our experience ever better. The food was really tasty and came very quickly considering how busy they were! The salad bar was stocked and had such lovely fillings like yummy pasta and bean salad and lovely fresh bread. This was an excellent mothers day meal, thank you so much, harvester!

Genuinely, truly nothing was positive about this experience. Several of us were served raw chicken- I am pregnant and currently have food poisoning. We were offered no compensation but we were offered our food to be remade. The second time my food came out, it was cold. The few warm bits that I ate were full of gristle. The sauce on the table was sour and close to expiry date. The salad bar was almost empty. We were sat on a table that was too small for 6 of us and had to ask to move. The only positive thing was that the drinks machine syrup had been changed recently. We won’t be coming back and quite honestly I would like a refund.

We made an online reservation after seeing the notification that there was only one table for two remaining. We arrived at 7:45 and were greeted by a staff member, although the restaurant was empty with only four people. We were initially disappointed as we had friends who wanted to join us last minute, but we had to inform them that the restaurant was fully booked. The waitress took our order for drinks and returned with a glass no ice, surely if you charge a premier for a soft drink you’d expect ice. When we finally placed our food order, it took 45 minutes for our meals to arrive. The salad bar was fresh but unfortunately, the rib eye steak I ordered was the worst I have ever tasted - it was dry, lacked seasoning, and had no flavor. I've had better steak at Weatherspoons. The mashed potatoes were also extremely dry and inedible. It's disheartening to see such a fantastic location for dining being underutilised. On a positive note, the staff was friendly.

Popped in after the theatre. Service was at a good speed. Was able to eat the salad without the main turning up in seconds which was nice. Typical Harvester food, but was very hot and at a nice pace.

The service was good and prompt. Unfortunately the food wasn't hot Luke warm. Disappointing. Plus didnt realise they never did Roasts being a sunday. So again disappointed. Not much choice without chips unfortunately.

What poor service we had ? Arrived at 12.15 only a few tables occupied nobody to seat us so I picked up menus and chose seats, order taken fairly quickly, nothing complicated, a burger meal, and a chicken salad, meal arrived after 35mins waited for 15mins after finishing before i went to ask for our dessert(table still not cleared) which i was told would be brought to us , 20mins later i asked another member of staff he went off and then dessert arrives which we had to hastily eat as had to leave! 21/2 hours to have a main and dessert that was pre ordered? Staff sanding at bar or wondering around? Won't be going there again??? All while watching people coming through door with nobody to greet them a few seated themselves....

Bbq stack was absolutely amazing! Staff super friendly and attentive. Salad bar was fresh and topped up at all times. Great atmosphere, will definitely be returning again!! Keep up the good work guys!!!

We had a lovely meal here recently, as a Christmas meal out with our kids. I'd also been with my mother a few weeks before. The atmosphere was nice, Christmas decorations up, not too loud, staff were lovely -friendly, welcoming, attentive. Delicious free salad bar with our meals, with much more than just typical lettuce, tomato etc. There was pasta salad, bean salads, buckwheat salad, different coleslaws, lovely little dinner rolls...Really tasty. I could actually have eaten the salad bar items as my meal! But, I did have a main meal. I had the chicken wrap, with chips. At something like £8 or £9 it was a real bargain with the free salad to boot! The rest of the family had burger, and kids meals. And we all had dessert. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the time here. For the price you really can't go wrong, and we'll definitely be back.

Visited for my boyfriend birthday and enjoyed the whole experience. We were served by Chloe who was really friendly and welcoming. She accommodated for my boyfriends picky eating habits and sorted him out a very filling delicious meal with lots of changes. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service. Went for a meal with my family today. One of my sons has a history of food allergies. The deputy manager on duty came and asked in detail about all his food allergies, and ensured the food did not include any allergens for my son. Food was very good. Service was equally good-courteous & helpful staff.

We were welcomed and shown to our table, our host was a young lady named Frankie. What a delightful young lady, she made sure that we (old folk) understood our options. Although all of the staff were very friendly Frankie was more than helpful and certainly warrants a special mention. The food, from the salad bar, our starters and our main courses were superb and we will certainly be calling again.

The food and waiting times were very good. Only negative point was an error while paying for our food. We told the cashier everything that we had and paid but the cashier missed one of our meals off the payment so we were called back to the restaurant from the car park to pay the rest of our bill as a result

IT WAS MY WORST EVER VISIT TO HARVESTER CARMARTHEN, THE CHIPS WERE NOT COOKED ON MY ORDER AS WELL AS MY HUSBAND ORDER & MY CHICKEN WAS NOT COOKED IT STILL HAD BLOOD COMING OUT OF IT , IT WAS AWFUL & THERE WAS HARDLY ANY CHOICE OF SALAD THEY SAID THEY HAD RUN OUT OF MOST OF THE SALAD THAT MORNING & I WAS ONLY OFFERED 1 SMALL PORTION OF REPLACEMENT CHIPS ,STAFF & MANAGER JUST DIDNT SEEMED TO CARE ABOUT HOW THE FOOD WAS SERVED, EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING, AS WE USUALLY VISIT THERE TWICE A WEEK, ☹️

Slow service, poor quality food with no seasoning, overpriced for what it is.

We arrived right on time for our 18:00 reservation. This was a little family dinner as it was my dad’s birthday. We ordered appetisers pretty quickly as well as our drinks. Our drinks came out quick; however, we were left waiting for OVER AN HOUR for our starters. We were served at 19:13. A wait that long for a bowl of nachos, garlic bread, and some wings is ridiculous. Our food finally came around 30 minutes after. Overall, it completely ruined the night. To top it off, the food was not worth the wait. I got the 1983 something: the ribs were flavourless with a weird texture, but the chicken was good. The pork on the dirty fries was cold and strawlike. The only who enjoyed was my 12 year old sister 😂. Hence the 3 star rating for the food. We were the only family left waiting with many people who arrived prior being served first. They gave us a £2.99 mac n cheese for free as consolation…

Loved the salad, especially the new additions: curried beans and mixed beans. For improvement, the quarter of chicken in the combo could be a little bigger. I was using a 40% off code so quantity of food was fine, but would have been a little disappointed if I'd been paying full price. The bread rolls need to be heated, like Harvester used to do.

It's corporate and done to a system. That said today we didn't have a booking and were greeted warmly and seated straight away. Food was delivered hot and portions were of a good size. You don't come here for gourmet dining, but what you do get value for money and taste on a budget when they get it right as they did today.

Really busy evening, but our server Tom was exceptional, he was obviously busy but made us feel as if we were his most important customers, food was ok but his service was second to none. He was only 17 (we asked) but his work ethic was testament to his dedication and upbringing, well done Tom

The food has gone down hill . The chips were cold and onion rings were dripping in oil . Urine flooded the ladies toilets which was then walked through the restaurant. My daughter had to return her salad bowl as it was dirty .

Visited recently for a meal before going to the cinema. We booked a table, however it was pretty much empty when we arrived (around 5pm). One of the reasons we booked was there was an offer Ion for kids to eat for £1 with an adult meal. The staff however weren't too familiar with the offer. They had some other offers on too for drinks and the waitress had to read through the terms for it. Service was quite slow after using the salad bar (which was limited) and when food arrived, my wife's steak was luke warm. When they eventually asked how the me was we highlighted this, but at that point it was easier to just finish it. Quite disappointing for a steak and the rest of the food wasn't particularly impressive. We decided to skip dessert. The bill however took about half an hour to arrange. There were issues over the offers and incorrect billing and it was difficult to get a member of staff to resolve it. Overall, a disappointing meal. Wouldn't return there as if they can't get it right when it's quiet, I wouldn't chance a busy time.

Beautiful food with amazing company

Shambles, compared to previous visits.. Edit .as per reply to Harvester comment on previous review. We booked a table and gave a 2nd chance..was stood like a loose end for ages .before finally being shown to a table waitress took our drink order and brought said drinks before informing us there was nearly a hour wait for food .. Unacceptable as booked table at certain time for a reason..so finished our drinks and had to find alternative place to eat.. Sorry Harvester you failed again

Dylan our server was fantastic. He is one of the only people who has ever checked and acknowledged my food allergy. Was very friendly and polite!!

A big thank you to your staff for their help with my 9-year old son who has recently been diagnosed as Coeliac and the superbly attentive service they gave him to ensure he had a Gluten Free meal. In particular one young lady with bleached bright red hair who went over and above to make sure our son had a salad prepared for him in the kitchen to ensure no cross contamination at the salad bar. Great to see your staff being so aware of food allergies etc

Very disappointed! My food was terrible. I was refunded. Also given the wrong drink and assured it was correct, then charged for an alcoholic one! My friend hD a mixed grill, no corn on the cob given. I had halloumi skewers. Peppers were gone off before grilling, coleslaw was homemade and had hardly any mayonnaise. Flatbread was like cardboard. Very disappointed. Harvester is usually much better than this. Also waited over an hour for food and it wasn't busy. A bit more organisation all round I feel.

We went for lunch on a Friday and after a considerable wait was shown to a table. The waiters were polite and took their time to deal with our orders although our first choices were not available, i.e. to our disappointment, fish and it was only lunch time and a Friday! I eventually ordered gammon and my wife had a jacket potato, both were well cooked and presented, but my gammon was chewy. This isn't our first time here and the standard has always been mainly the same, average, but it is conveniently placed by the cinema.

All good with all you can eat salad bar and drinks, great for kids also

Asked for rare steak, came out as blue steak, gave it back and they just seared the side I cut to make it look like they cooked it and it came back out the exact same as I gave it back. Put me off my food completely.

We arrived for dinner and was shown to a table by our sever Emma. She took our order and returned with drinks. Food was very good and hot. Very good service by Emma. We are regulars and we have always had good service and food.

Visited here today with 2 fussy eaters, and requested when I booked online to call me if there's wasn't and cod available. We arrived and was seated earlier than the time we booked, and was Informed that there wasn't any cod left but someone had requested cod and was relieved that the cod was kept back for us. First time in this harvester and the service and food is amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and really enjoyed all of the food and dessert. Staff can't do enough for you and even the drinks machine was full with all the flavours of each drink unlike other harvesters I've been to where there's only selected drinks available. Will be visiting again 💯🙂.
