Booked for 8.30 pm at The Seahorse. Arrived, waited a while to be seated. Noticed that there were chips all over the floor. Waitress was lovely but , after ordering, we were told that there was no haddock, no steak and no chicken so no mixed grill. All at 8.30pm on a bank holiday weekend.

The breakfast was outstanding, We went here instead of our holiday park which was packed. the prices were reasonable and kids eat for £1 if you sign up to the app. The Ultimate breakfast was the best i have had thanks to the Chefs Niall and Sammy.

It was not great…The salad bowls were dirty and had to be replaced,the server did not know the menu and was slow at working her iPad.The ribs were over cooked and the corn was cold.

It's been a while since I last ate here with my family and last night was disappointing. I had pre booked a table and we had to ask the waitress to bring cutlery as we weren't given any. I had a dirty bird and it was dry and hard. My husband had a mixed grill, the egg was forgotten then brought through seperately. The food is expensive for the quality you get. I won't be eating out here again.

First time coming back here since the revamp and it is a lot nicer inside but that’s where the good stuff stops. The salad bar was empty and staff took a long time refill items and the bread rolls were dry almost stale. It took 50 minutes for our mains to come out which were disappointing. Don’t waste your money on the mega ribs as the standard ribs are not that much smaller, also the large portion of fries were no different to the standard size. The corn on the cobs was so over cooked they just turned to mush and were not edible. Definitely not in a hurry to go back for another meal sorry to say.

Glad to see this Harvester open again. Good sized car park and restaurant. Fresh produce and very helpful staff. Tables pretty close together if the restaurant is packed but booking process easy and swift confirmation

Sarah , is the nicest host , the refurbishment is lush , as is the food . This took me by surprise for a ' chain ' restaurant. It'll be my regular Saturday night treat for sure !

Very happy with our experience at the Poole alder rd harvester . Mya was very helpful n didn’t keep us waiting for drinks etc happy to come again

We had an excellent time. Thanks to Sam for his friendly greetings and service, also for his enthusiasm and speed serving. We enjoyed every dish we were served and will gladly come again. Big up Sam.

It’s been a while coming to the harvester, but it was lovely! I want to praise one of the girls in there her name is Leah she was amazing, her confidence and communication with myself and others was lovely so thank you very much. The food was delicious. Bread rolls so dry , they shud put fresh ones out every 2 hours not 4 hours maybe .. Salad bar lovely,

Ordered the 1983 combo and came out great, even better service from Dan - despite the systems going down, took out the old pen and paper and ploughed on. Also kudos for entertaining our 18 month old!

Disappointed with an hour wait for our meals I ate my meal 20 mins before the rest of the party as they put my small plates down ad starters even though I stated this is my main and to comeout all together

Two meals came out incorrect - not busy at all asked to pay before we were given our dessert- no toilet roll in the gents toilets - waste of £85.00- only had six tables busy - got a person out tye kitchen to learn how to serve - shows not busy at all.

Poor experience in here. Long wait for food, empty salad cart, staff had to be prompted for each course and to clear our table after waiting considerable time in between courses.

On holiday and decided to pop in for dinner. X2 adults x4 children one toddler and a newborn. Made a booking 30 mins pria to arriving. Arrived and it looked very welcoming. Loads of car park spaces too. Garden area looked nice. Was a little busy and waited 5 mins to be seated not bothered as again was busy. Was prompt in staff taking our drinks order then fast for our drinks to come out. We ordered and again that was prompt in coming out. Was super hot and plates looked fab. We did have starter salad, that area was a little messy/empty but not surprised as was busy with customers. I did see someone tidy it a while later. We still really enjoyed our salad bar food. We also had puddings and they were fab too. Our waitress was super friendly and always had a smile on her face. Usually harvesters are hit or miss. This one was 4.9**** just because of salad bar not being kept on top of. Was super fab and would deffo return. Thank you :)

Unfortunately, this place leaves a lot of room for improvement. Service is poor, atmosphere because of it isn't great and food sizing and portions are over priced. Very poor overall.

The table was not ready, the drinks took the entire meal duration to arrive, the salad bar was low on everything, cross contaminated and under our table the floor was covered in food. I cannot see where it's been refurbished and quite frankly the lack of staff was appalling. The food, when it arrived, was nice but the whole experience means we won't be revisiting this harvester.

Very nice indeed, we couldn’t fault our waitress Sarah, she was very attentive and nothing was to much trouble for she made for great dining experience!!

She made compliments about us eating but never came across as judgemental. My brother was down when she said she was finishing her shift and having to hand off before we finished so we left when she did. She made the experience amazing for my brother as his first time at Harvester.

Loved this place. The food was absolutely amazing, especially the chicken. Our nice server Sarah wished me a happy birthday, which made me quite happy. She was also making conversation with us. Great first time here.

Amazing service, Sarah was attentive, polite and made us feel so welcome. She explained that she was finishing her shift and was going to hand us over to her colleague. It made us feel really valued and like a regular.

Went with our granddaughters. Hadnt been to a Harvester for years. Excellent service by Millie who guided me through options. Great with my girls too. Food was good. It has been a few years since we last visited any Harvester restaurant. Whilst on holiday in Bournemouth we decided to go for something to eat . When a lot of restaurants downsized their food I was pleasantly surprised by the meals of a good sized portions and salad bar in the price and soft drinks unlimited refills. We had a large rack of ribs and Cajun chicken flat bread (as in the pics). This was a good call. The whole restaurant has a nice decor and feels fresh . Service was quick and very helpful staff . Really recommend

Good quality food. Shame there was no horseradish sauce to go with steak, perhaps the chain might think of including that in the sauce selection. Otherwise thank you to Jarrod who served us today. Polite, professional and very helpful. Timely and attentive.

We've just had a lovely meal, hot and very tasty. They were able to manage our large party with all meals coming out together. Everyone enjoyed theirs. Great service. All in all a lovely evening.

Food is awful Very expensive Mega rack of ribs was tiny and about 10 chips awful coldslaw £25 I had chicken skewers I wish I could send you a photo it was awful

A wonderful visit to Harvester Alder Road. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait too long between courses. The waitress Sarah was an absolute diamond and should be praised for her hard work and customer service. Great customer service is hard to come by these days, but Sarah has it in abundance. A really great member of staff who you as a company should be very proud of. Please pass on my thanks to Sarah and make sure she knows she is excellent at what she does.

Very very poor service, waiting over 1 1/2 hours for food to be served after waiting 1/2 hour for order to be taken…then, 1/2 the salad bar missing and the food not great…. Not impressed.

Just been for meal this evening. Atmosphere was good and so was the meal. Unfortunately what let it down on the chicken, bacon, waffle I had was that there was a lot of fat on the bacon which I had to cut off which didn't leave much meat. On a positive note we had Sarah as our waitress who was friendly, caring and polite she checked on us throughout our meal even though it was rush hour with a few big tables sat around us. We didn't feel any less a priority and was attended to just as much as the big tables.

Sarah was a great waitress. Also got my leftovers for lunch for tomorrow at work 😉🤯😁😀😎.

Nothing wrong with the food. The service however.... Four of us waited 45 minutes for our food to be brought. The waitress walked past us at leat once if not twice every 5 minutes but failed to realise we did not have the food we ordered. When I queried her, she tried to make a joke of it. Two minutes later it was bought. It must have been ready and waiting for who knows how long. I will certainly not be returning.

Sarah gave us an amazing experience, we came with our two little girls and she was so good them too could only recommend! She needs a raise!
