Food is good, better than other Harvester's in the area, we had a lovely waitress as well.

Out for a bite with the misses and youngest grandchild, great food, good atmosphere. And credit where it's due, our waitress (if allowed) Zara, only a young lady but, wow, what an appsalute credit to your brand 👏 not enough space to tell you about it all but the attention to detail, the friendliness and attentiveness was second to none, right down to swapping my 18 month old granddaughter's menu for a colouring book (without being asked by the way) just to keep her occupied while we ordered our food, and the way she dealt with which can only be distributed as a (Karen) convention ( 20+ ) of them just complaining about pathetic little things (like a bit of lettuce on the plate) among other trivial hacks to try and get discount, she just stayed calm, professional and friendly at all times. Her work ethic for such a young lady is incredible 👏.

Sarah was a great server, promised me runny eggs and she delivered runny eggs. Very happy all round.

Food was lovely. We tried the new menu and all was as described. Good portions and great presentation. The place was clean and tidy. Sarah was very welcoming from us walking in to taking our order to delivery of food. Sarah was nice and friendly and great customer service! She really looked after us. Definitely a good place to visit!

New revamped menu and recipes are great, didn’t think they could improve on my favourite dish but they did! Vicki was very helpful and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Our favourite place to go

Nice restaurant, pleasant atmosphere, polite and attentive staff, good hot food. Not sure where they get their staff. Just watched one diligently sweep the carpet, then wipe what was left on the table top back onto the floor. It looked worse than when she started, go figure :)

Loads of menu items unavailable, slow service and managed to get one of the children's meals incorrect so it had to be sent back

Was very busy but service was great. Food portion size was a bit dissapointing. I ordered a BBQ Chicken Stack and the cheese and bacon was bigger than the chicken breast itself so that was bad.

Just fancied a bit of dinner on the way home from work. Booked on my phone, very easy. Service was good and the food was delicious. Very impressed.

Had an awful interaction with a young boy named Josh. I believe he was either a manager or worked in the kitchen however he was extremely rude and showed no respect at all. I hope the restaurant deal with this situation accordingly !!!! WILL NOT BE RETURNING

The wait for mains was 1 hour, this was not acceptable. The food was tasty but such a long wait, made our experience terrible. This was after the lunch rush. I had to ask for the salad bar to be topped up.

We came for breakfast and had a lovely experience. The food was very tasty. Amazing service from Dan, who was so good with my son and interacted with him at every opportunity. The atmosphere was very chilled. We would definitely come back 😁

Manager was wearing shorts t shirt and trainers there was things missing on what we ordered empty chips only to find a rock hard looked like a stone gammon was tough rest if food was cold didn't enjoy at all

Excellent visit. Nice food,attentive service. Busy dining,hence the wait for food, waitress ( Jenny ) made sure we were ok through out,until food arrived. Worth waiting for, very delightful,freshly cooked, accompanied by fresh salad bar. Recommend visit.

It took an hour for our meals to arrived. Our kids steak was too chewy, had to return it as it was inedible. The original waitress said the chef wouldn’t take the steak back as it was cut up. Then we spoke to the manager who replaced the kids steak. Order a rack of rib with sweet & sour sauce but there was hardly any sauce on it. Again, spoke to the same waitress and she didn’t do anything about it so we spoke to the manager again to get extra sauce. Ordered couple of desert for the kids meal. We waited 15 mins for a Mango Pipstick & a Strawberry Sundae. What we got given was a Pineapple Pipstick and melted ice cream in a bowl with lemon sauce.

S Sarah was very accommodating and always. She provided a great customer service and was very helpful.

Here for Friday lunch celebrating birthday. 5 adults, one with walking difficulties, did not book. We shown in to suitable table and offered great service. Food was very good and again promptly served. A SUPER EXPERIENCE BY ALL OF US.

In area on holiday cannot fault service/food staff polite friendly when in area will definitely eat there again 10 out of 10

Service was extremely slow. Waited to be seated. Waited to have menus given to us. Waited for someone to serve us before asking to be reseated. Food and drink were ordered together. One persons tapas came out before anyone else meals. Steak was cooked as I requested but didn't taste great. Left feeling disappointed

We had a great evening here. All the staff were fab, especially Sarah, who couldn't do more to ensure our comfort. The Sea Horse are lucky to have her, Harvesters should borrow Sarah, to show them how it's done. We'll be returning soon, keep up the good work.

Not as cheap as it used to be. Food was OK otherwise. But still felt overpriced for the standard of food you get. Staff were friendly.

Our table was booked for 6.30pm we were seated, drinks ordered and salad bowls given placed our order and waited. We were finally served at 8.30pm after twice asking the waitress when we would be served. She advised us we were next this was at 8pm she proceeded to serve another table if 10 people before us. We had 3 children with us one who has severe special needs. This was a very stressful situation as not only were they tired but the SEN child then began to become very anxious as not only was he was hungry he was also very tired. We were out celebrating our daughter's birthday which ended up being ruined due to the stressful situation

Our visit was not good because we have to wait for 1hour before our food arrived. The FOH does not tell us how long the waiting time is and we needed to ask how long the waiting time for the food to serve it. I dont want to be rude as working in the kitchen also i know the nature how busy it is but it should be there going to advised all the customer if they need to wait for more than 30 minutes to 1 hour...

Recent refurb looks nice. Had dinner here and overall very good. Like the idea of chilled salad bowls. Jenny our server was excellent. She also sorted out one of our salad bowls which the dishwasher had failed with. Only issue we had was the flatbread was like cardboard. Now we should have said something so partially our fault. But equally it should not have come out of the kitchen like that. I'd also say the chicken skewer lacked seasoning, it was a little bland even with the sauce on it. Easily rectified as the place has lots of extra sauces available mind. Definitely go back and remember, if something is wrong , just say. We were asked and never really occurred to us.

Went out for a family dinner, mat our server was incredible, he was always smiling and was brilliant with our allergies!! The whole team tonight was amazing, thank you to the kitchen boys our meal were cooked to perfection.

The restaurant itself was okay, but a lot of people were moaning about service time. The salad bar was not stocked up and there was little to choose from.

Was severed by a rude, arrogant waitress name was ‘Jennie’ definitely put me and my family off from returning to this branch!!

We recently visited the Harvester Alder Hills and had an outstanding experience, thanks in large part to our server, Dan. From the moment we arrived, Dan made us feel incredibly welcome with his warm and friendly demeanor. He was attentive throughout our meal, ensuring that we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Thank you Dan for making our experience so enjoyable!

I felt the service was poor. We were directed to a table and just left with no explanation as to who would be looking after us or anything. The waitress came eventually. It took so long that we had already chosen food when she came to take the drinks order. We were advised to get our starters and mains at the same time as the wait for food was already at 40-45 minutes. We agreed to take it all together. The salad bar was untidy, pretty empty and no one was taking any care of it. The food came about 35-40 minutes after ordering and it was nice, hot and portions were good. We ate and then waited and waited and waited. We had waited so long that we decided not to get deserts and got the bill and left. Service was poor and as such cost you money as we were going to have 6 deserts!

We took a risk as it was a Saturday. A lot of children all very well behaved.

Booked for 8.30 pm at The Seahorse. Arrived, waited a while to be seated. Noticed that there were chips all over the floor. Waitress was lovely but , after ordering, we were told that there was no haddock, no steak and no chicken so no mixed grill. All at 8.30pm on a bank holiday weekend.

The breakfast was outstanding, We went here instead of our holiday park which was packed. the prices were reasonable and kids eat for £1 if you sign up to the app. The Ultimate breakfast was the best i have had thanks to the Chefs Niall and Sammy.

It was not great…The salad bowls were dirty and had to be replaced,the server did not know the menu and was slow at working her iPad.The ribs were over cooked and the corn was cold.

It's been a while since I last ate here with my family and last night was disappointing. I had pre booked a table and we had to ask the waitress to bring cutlery as we weren't given any. I had a dirty bird and it was dry and hard. My husband had a mixed grill, the egg was forgotten then brought through seperately. The food is expensive for the quality you get. I won't be eating out here again.

First time coming back here since the revamp and it is a lot nicer inside but that’s where the good stuff stops. The salad bar was empty and staff took a long time refill items and the bread rolls were dry almost stale. It took 50 minutes for our mains to come out which were disappointing. Don’t waste your money on the mega ribs as the standard ribs are not that much smaller, also the large portion of fries were no different to the standard size. The corn on the cobs was so over cooked they just turned to mush and were not edible. Definitely not in a hurry to go back for another meal sorry to say.

We had an excellent time. Thanks to Sam for his friendly greetings and service, also for his enthusiasm and speed serving. We enjoyed every dish we were served and will gladly come again. Big up Sam.

Sarah , is the nicest host , the refurbishment is lush , as is the food . This took me by surprise for a ' chain ' restaurant. It'll be my regular Saturday night treat for sure !

Glad to see this Harvester open again. Good sized car park and restaurant. Fresh produce and very helpful staff. Tables pretty close together if the restaurant is packed but booking process easy and swift confirmation

The restaurant has been recently redecorated and looked fresh & modern. The waiter (Dan) was very thorough, friendly & helpful. Overall a great experience.

Ordered the 1983 combo and came out great, even better service from Dan - despite the systems going down, took out the old pen and paper and ploughed on. Also kudos for entertaining our 18 month old!

Absolutely brilliant staff! They were having to go ‘old school’ and write our orders down because the system had crashed!! How they kept smiling… am very impressed!!
